Brainstem evoked response audiometry is a powerful diagnostic technique in audiology, otology and neurology. ABr(Auditory Brainstem response) machine has been very useful and popular in past two decades for detection of hearing defects and pathologies in newborns and children. In ABr, wave V is the most prominent and robust wave that has been used as indicator of hearing loss. However, a fast detection of the wave V is necessary in order to implement newborn hearing screening. researchers have introduced different kind of signal processing technique in order to achieve this target and one of this is Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and Wavelet Transform. In this study, the instantaneous energy of ABr signal had been introduced as a marker to identify the ABr waves. Study showed that the instantaneous energy of auditory brainstem response can be used as a marker to identify the ABr waves. This study had proposed a platform for fast hearing screening system.

We investigate the effects of different contents of multiwall carbon nanotubes （MWCNTs） on optical and electrical properties of polyaniline （PANI）. The MWCNTs/PANI composites are deposited on glass substrates coated with indium tin oxide （ITO） by the spin-coating technique. The scanning electron microscopy shows that nanotubes are coated with the PANI layer and x-ray diffraction patterns show that all deposited composite films have an amorphous character. The analysis of a UV-vis spectrophotometer indicates the blue shift of the absorbance peak and a decrease in optical band gap value by the enhancement of the CNT content in the PANI matrix while the Urbach energy increases. The raman spectrum shows the blue shift 1404→1417cm^-1 and photoluminescence spectra show an increase in the intensity of characteristic PANI peak at 436 nm with the increasing CNT content.

BACKGrOUND Heart rate variability(HrV)was shown to be affected by performing religious *** To examine the relationship between the level of Quran(the holy book of Muslims)memorisation and HrV among *** This experimental study included 16 Tahfiz students and 16 non-Tahfiz students(n=32).The HrV was measured in three tasks:recalling familiar verses,memorising new verses,and recalling the newly memorised verses of the *** analysis was done using these parameters:Standard deviation of N-N(heartbeat peak)interval;low frequency(LF);high frequency(HF)and LF/HF *** There were significant differences between tasks for all parameters(Pr,between the groups,only the LF/HF ratio had significant differences,with F=5.04,Prrelation showed a moderate positive correlation between the number of pages memorised and the LF/HF ratio(r=0.61,Pran memorisation increased the HrV and our results suggested that this activity could be developed as an effective sympathovagal modulation training activity.

Study about water characteristics(temperature and salinity) from the World Ocean Database(WOD) was conducted in the area of southern South China Sea(SSCS), covering the area of 0°–10°N, 100°–117°E. From interannual analysis, upper layer(10 m) and deep water temperature(50 m) increased from 1951 until 2014. Monthly averaged show that May recorded the highest upper layer temperature while January recorded the lowest. It was different for the deep water which recorded the highest value in September and lowest in February. Contour plot for upper layer temperature in the study area shows presence of thermal front of cold water at southern part of Vietnam tip especially during peak northeast season(December–January). The appearances of warm water were obviously seen during generating southwest monsoon(May–June). Thermocline study revealed the deepest isothermal layer depth(ILD) during peak northeast and southwest monsoon. Temperature threshold at shallow area reach more than 0.8°C during the transitional period. Water mass study described T-S profile based on particular region. Water mass during the southwest monsoon is typically well mixed compared to other seasons while strong separation according to location is very clear. During transitional period between northeast monsoon to southwest monsoon, the increasing of water temperature can be seen at Continental Shelf Water(CSW) which tend to be higher than 29°C and vice versa condition during transitional period between southwest monsoon to northeast monsoon. Dispersion of T-S profile can be seen during southwest monsoon inside Tropical Surface Water(TSW) where the salinity and temperature become higher than during northeast monsoon.
