This paper proposes a new dielectric resonator antenna(DRA)design that can generate circularly polarized(CP)triple-band *** CP DRA antenna fed by a probe feed system is achieved with metal strips structure on side of DRA *** design start with conventional rectangular DRA with F shaped metal strips on DRA structure alongside the ***,the F metal strip is enhanced by extending the length of the metal strip to obtain wider impedance *** improvement on the antenna performance is observed by improvised the conventional DRA *** method of removing part of DRA bottom resulted to higher antenna gain with triple band *** primary features of the proposed DRA include wide impedance matching bandwidth(BW)and broadband circular polarization(CP).The primary features of the proposedDRAinclude wide impedance matching bandwidth(BW)and broadband circular polarization(CP).The CP BW values recorded by the proposed antenna were∼11.27%(3.3–3.65 GHz),12.18%(4.17–4.69 GHz),and 1.74%(6.44–6.55 GHz)for impedance-matching BW values of 35.4%(3.3–4.69 GHz),1.74%(5.36–5.44 GHz),and 1.85%(6.41–6.55 GHz)with peak gains of 6.8 dBic,7.6 dBic,and 8.5 dBic,respectively,in the lower,central,and upper *** prototype of the proposed antenna geometry was fabricated and measured.A good agreement was noted between the simulated and the measured results.

In this article an ultra-wideband rectangular Dielectric Resonator Antenna is designed for millimeter wave 5G frequency band *** 5G communications require antenna system with wide bandwidth and high efficiency to enhance the throughput in the *** fulfill such requirements a Dielectric Resonator Antenna(DRA)is designed here which has achieved an ultra-wide bandwidth of 20.15%(22.32–27.56 GHz)which is 5.24 GHz of bandwidth centered at 26 GHz as resonating *** covers the complete band 30(24.3–27.5 GHz)of 5G spectrum.26 and 28 GHz are considered as most popular frequencies in millimeter wave 5G *** aperture fed DRA designed here has also achieved an efficiency of 96 percentage with maximum radiation in the broadside direction(Phi=0,Theta=0).The measured gain of the DRA is 6.3 *** DRA designed here has dimensions of 0.25λ0×0.22λ0×0.12λ*** the characteristic’s *** DRA is placed over a substrate with dimensions 0.5λ0×0.5λ0×0.02λ0.A cross slot aperture has been made on the ground plane which is placed above to the *** a full ground plane is used to resonate the antenna and is of similar dimension to the substrate.A microstrip line with two concentric rings makes an annular feed structure is used to excite the DRA and is placed below the *** DRA is excited here in characteristics mode TE1Y1 and is the only mode of *** DRA is linearly polarized,and the characteristic mode of excitation is maintained with 50 Ohm input impedance of the *** DRA also gives here a good difference between the co-pol and cross pol approximately 15 to 20 *** antenna is more suitable for 5G indoor applications in millimeter wave frequency band centered at 26 GHz.

I-PRESENT<sup>TM</sup>: An Involutive Lightweight Block Cipher

This paper proposes a new involutive light-weight block cipher for resource-constraint environments called I-PRESENTTM. The design is based on the Present block cipher which is included in the ISO/IEC 29192 standard on lightweight cryptography. The advantage of I-PRESENTTM is that the cipher is involutive such that the encryption circuit is identical to decryption. This is an advantage for environments which require the implementation of both circuits. The area requirement of I-PRESENTTM compares reasonably well with other similar ciphers such as PRINCE.

Dimensional Stability Properties of Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) from Treated Oil Palm (Elaeis guineensis) Empty Fruit Bunches (EFB) Fibres

The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of pre-treatments by using sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and acetic acid on oil palm Empty Fruit Bunch (EFB) fibres for the production of Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF). The EFB fibres were treated with chemicals in the concentration range of 0.2%, 0.4%, 0.6% and 0.8% prior to refining. Single-homogenous layer MDF with 12 mm thickness and density of 720 kg/m3 was produced. Urea-Formaldehyde (UF) was applied at 10% loading (based on dry weight of dry fibres) as a binder. The physical properties (Water Absorption (WA) and Thickness Swelling (TS)) of the produced panels were tested according to European Standard, EN 622-5:2006. The results show that types of chemical used had greater effects than concentration on the dimensional stability of the MDF. EFB fibres treated with acetic acid produced MDF with better dimensional stability compared to the MDF NaOH treated fibres. High concentration of NaOH produced poor dimensional stability in the panels.

This project was conducted to produce a cement panel with the addition of treated and untreated coconut fiber in cement panel. Coconut fiber was added to replace coarse aggregate（sand） in this cement panel. In this project, the ratios used to design the mixture were 1:1:0, 1:0.97:0.03, 1:0.94:0.06, 1:0.91:0.09（cement: sand: coconut fiber）. The water cement ratio was constant at 0.55. The sizes of sample tested were, 160 mm x 40 mm x 40 mm for compression test, and 100 mm x 100 mm x 40 mm for density, moisture content and water absorption tests. After curing samples for 28 days, it was found that the addition of coconut fiber, further increase in compressive strength of cement panel with untreated coconut fiber. Moisture content of cement panel with treated coconut fiber increased with increasing content of coconut fiber whereas water absorption of cement panel with untreated coconut fiber increased with increasing content of coconut fiber. The density of cement panel decreased with the addition of untreated and treated coconut fiber.

酸性条件下,用环六亚甲基四胺作为pH调节剂,采用pH调节法直接合成了铜同构替代掺杂的SBA-15中孔分子筛(Cu/SBA-15).采用X-射线衍射(XRD)、扫描电子显微镜-能量色散X射线光谱(SEM-EDX)、透射电子显微镜(TEM)以及傅立叶变换红外光谱(FT-IR)等技术对目标材料进行了表征.结果表明:该材料具有六方中孔有序结构,且环六亚甲基四胺显著影响了铜和SBA-15硅骨架的结合,在水热合成过程中,环六亚甲基四胺分解释放出氨气,增加了体系的pH值,有助于更多的铜进入到分子筛的骨架中.该材料可用于N2O分解反应的催化剂,其中Cu/SBA-15(110)在600℃下具有优异的催化活性,可分解50%N2O.
