The sandstones of the Late miocene–Pliocene Dibdibba Formation in the Najaf–Karbala Plateau and Basra were examined to determine their source rocks and origin. The rare earth elements(rEE) and trace elements(Sc, Co, V, and Th) concentrations in these sandstones revealed that they likely derived from a single source. The steep light rare earth elements(LrEE) and flat, heavy rare earth element(HrEE) patterns, negative Eu anomaly, and high ΣrEE contents in sandstones suggest its derivation from a suggests that a passive continental margin environment and originated from felsic source rocks. The average concentration of ΣrEE is 93.5 ppm, which is lower than that of the average crustal compositions like Upper Continental Crust and Post Archean Australian Shale. The higher proportion of LrEE compared to HrEE implies that these sandstones were recycled and derived from a distal source. The Th/Co, Th/Sc, La/Sc, La/Co, Eu/Eu*and(La/Lu)cn elemental ratios indicated that these Late Miocene–Pliocene sandstones were derived from felsic rocks located in the marginal region of the Arabian Shield.

A large number of network security breaches in IoT networks have demonstrated the unreliability of current Network Intrusion Detection Systems(NIDSs).Consequently,network interruptions and loss of sensitive data have occurred,which led to an active research area for improving NIDS *** an analysis of related works,it was observed that most researchers aim to obtain better classification results by using a set of untried combinations of Feature reduction(Fr)and Machine Learning(ML)techniques on NIDS ***,these datasets are different in feature sets,attack types,and network ***,this paper aims to discover whether these techniques can be generalised across various *** ML models are utilised:a Deep Feed Forward(DFF),Convolutional Neural Network(CNN),recurrent Neural Network(rNN),Decision Tree(DT),Logistic regression(Lr),and Naive Bayes(NB).The accuracy of three Feature Extraction(FE)algorithms is detected;Principal Component Analysis(PCA),Auto-encoder(AE),and Linear Discriminant Analysis(LDA),are evaluated using three benchmark datasets:UNSW-NB15,ToN-IoT and *** PCA and AE algorithms have been widely used,the determination of their optimal number of extracted dimensions has been *** results indicate that no clear FE method or ML model can achieve the best scores for all *** optimal number of extracted dimensions has been identified for each dataset,and LDA degrades the performance of the ML models on two *** variance is used to analyse the extracted dimensions of LDA and ***,this paper concludes that the choice of datasets significantly alters the performance of the applied *** believe that a universal(benchmark)feature set is needed to facilitate further advancement and progress of research in this field.

BACKGrOUND Among the most frequent hip fractures are trochanteric fractures,which usually occur from low-energy trauma like minor falls,especially in older people with osteoporotic *** To evaluate the treatment efficacy of dynamic condylar screws(DCS)and proximal femoral nails(PFN)for unstable intertrochanteric *** To find pertinent randomized controlled trials and retrospective observational studies comparing PFN with DCS for the management of unstable femoral intertrochanteric fractures,a thorough search was carried *** research studies published between January 1996 and April 2024,PubMed,EMBASE,Scopus,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,and Google Scholar were all *** complete texts of the papers were retrieved,vetted,and independently examined by two *** were settled by consensus,and any disagreements that persisted were arbitrated by a third *** This study included six articles,comprising a total of 173 *** to the DCS,the PFN had a shorter operation time[mean difference(MD):-41.7 min,95%confidence interval(95%CI):-63.04 to-20.35,P=0.0001],higher success rates with closed reduction techniques[risk ratio(rr):34.05,95%CI:11.12-104.31,Prequired less intraoperative blood transfusion(MD:-1.4 units,95%CI:-1.80 to-1.00,Pally,the PFN showed shorter fracture union time(MD:-6.92 wk,95%CI:-10.27 to-3.57,Power incidence of reoperation(rr:0.37,95%CI:0.17-0.82,P=0.01).However,there was no discernible variation regarding hospital stay,implant-related complications,and *** Compared to DCS,PFN offers shorter operative times,reduces the blood transfusions requirements,achieves higher closed reduction success,enables faster fracture healing,and lowers reoperation incidence.

Many tourists who travel to explore different cultures and cities worldwide aim to find the best tourist sites,accommodation,and food according to their *** objective makes it harder for tourists to decide and plan where to go and what to *** from hiring a local guide,an option which is beyond most travelers’budgets,the majority of sojourners nowadays use mobile devices to search for or recommend interesting sites on the basis of user ***,this work utilizes the prevalent recommender systems and mobile app technologies to overcome this ***,this study proposes location-aware personalized traveler assistance(LAPTA),a system which integrates user preferences and the global positioning system(GPS)to generate personalized and location-aware *** integration will enable the enhanced recommendation of the developed scheme relative to those from the traditional recommender systems used in customer ***,LAPTA separates the data obtained from Google locations into name and category *** the data separation,the system fetches the keywords from the user’s input according to the user’s past research *** proposed system uses the K-Nearest algorithm to match the name and category tags with the user’s input to generate personalized *** system also provides suggestions on the basis of nearby popular attractions using the Google point of interest feature to enhance system *** experimental results showed that LAPTA could provide more reliable and accurate recommendations compared to the reviewed recommendation applications.

repeated load triaxial test is used to assess the deformation behaviour of unbound granular materials(UGMs) in flexible road pavements. repeated load pulse characteristics(i.e. shape, loading period and rest period) are the stress configurations used in the experimental set-up to simulate the passing axle loads. Some researchers and standard testing protocols suggest a rest period of varying durations after a loading phase. A thorough review of existing literature and practises has revealed that there is no agreement about the effect of the rest period of vertical stress pulse on the deformation behaviour of the UGMs. Therefore,the main objective of this study is to investigate the effect of repeated stress rest period on the deformation behaviour of UGMs experimentally. Experiments are conducted, both with and without rest period, using basalt and granite crushed rocks from Victoria, Australia. Furthermore, in order to gain insight into the effect of the rest period, finite element modelling is also developed. Both the experimental and modelling results show that the rest period has a noticeable effect on both resilient and permanent deformation behaviours of UGMs. It is, therefore, recommended to take extra precautions while adopting a particular standard testing protocol and to supplement the results by additional tests with different loading configurations.

This work aims to prepare chitosan(CS)-based coated layers,CS(10 wt%nanosilver/90 wt%CS,10 wt%biotin/90 wt%CS,and 5 wt%nanosilver–5 wt%biotin)/90 wt%CS coatings are prepared,onto pure Ti *** surface morphology of the novel CS composite coating was studied using field emission scanning electron microscopy,atomic force microscopy(AFM),Fourier transforms infrared(FTIr)and wettability *** show that the addition of(biotin,nanosilver)5 Vol.%improves the properties of composite *** different particles’scale size aid in improving the combinations in the alginate,producing a dual effect on film *** surface roughness decreased in the chitosan-based biocomposite with preferable homogeneity and crack-free coating layers,as confirmed by *** increase in surface roughness ensured substitution,which enhanced the surface *** high wettability of the CS-based coating layers was due to the presence of nanoparticles,and the composite coatings with CS,nanosilver,or biotin had excellent wettability because of the good hydrophilic nature of the CS matrix combined with reinforced *** FTIr results showed that peaks of the blending of CS plus nanoparticles,CS plus biotin,or CS plus nanosilver plus biotin were excellent matching with no changes in the structure of the matrix.

Previous research has shown that smooth muscle of the stomach undergoes developmental changes in the intracellular regulatory mechanism responsible for the contractile process. Whether these developmental changes relate to differences in the expression and/or activity of the key enzymes regulating smooth muscle contraction has not been previously evaluated. Therefore, we aimed to examine the expression and activation of the small monomeric G protein "rho A" and rho kinase(rOCK) as well as their correlation with the contraction of gastric smooth muscle cells(GSMCs) in newborn vs. adult rats. Freshly isolated single GSMCs from Sprague-Dawley rats at 1 week(newborn) and 3 months(adult) of age were used in the study. Protein and m rNA expression levels of both rOCK2 and total rho A were higher in adult compared to newborn rats. Moreover, acetylcholine(ACh)-induced contractions of GSMCs in adult rats were significantly higher than that in newborn animals. Meanwhile,rOCK and rho activation was higher in adult stomach cells compared to newborn ones. Pretreatment of GSMCs with Y-27632, the rOCK inhibitor, significantly reduced ACh-induced contraction in both groups of cells and greatly abolished contractile differences. In conclusion, our results indicate that rho A/rOCK pathway and contraction of stomach muscle cells are under developmental regulation.

This paper develops a trustworthy deep learning model that considers electricity demand(G)and local climate *** model utilises Multi-Head Self-Attention Transformer(TNET)to capture critical information from𝐻,to attain reliable predictions with local climate(rainfall,radiation,humidity,evaporation,and maximum and minimum temperatures)data from Energex substations in Queensland,*** TNET model is then evaluated with deep learning models(Long-Short Term Memory LSTM,Bidirectional LSTM BILSTM,Gated recurrent Unit GrU,Convolutional Neural Networks CNN,and Deep Neural Network DNN)based on robust model assessment *** Kernel Density Estimation method is used to generate the prediction interval(PI)of electricity demand forecasts and derive probability metrics and results to show the developed TNET model is accurate for all the *** study concludes that the proposed TNET model is a reliable electricity demand predictive tool that has high accuracy and low predictive errors and could be employed as a stratagem by demand modellers and energy policy-makers who wish to incorporate climatic factors into electricity demand patterns and develop national energy market insights and analysis systems.

Objectives: Toxoplasma gondii is a ruthless intracellular parasite belonging to Coccidae. Toxoplasmosis is a disease affecting 500 million people worldwide. The seroprevalence varies from 5% to 90% depending on geographical location, age, habit of eating, raw meat or unwashed fruit and vegetables, and general level of hygiene. The objective of the current study was to assess the prevalence of this parasitic disease which lately seems to be elevated generally in Iraq and particularly in the middle and northern Iraq. A prospective study was carried out on females which attended public hospitals?complaining of abortion and/ or infertility during 2009. Methods: We collected blood samples from the female patients to detect the presence of specific antibodies of Toxoplasma gondii utilizing direct agglutination test which was compared with ELISA techniques for evaluations of their testing sensitivity. The history of all patients was taken particularly abortion and marriage periods with and/ or without children with the family. results: Direct latex agglutination test and ELISA methodology gave almost the same results when both were utilized for the detection of the toxoplasmosis in the sera of the women examined. A high frequency of toxoplasmosis incidence was seen among women with one abortion group which happen during their marital life. Conclusions: It was concluded that the high prevalence of toxoplasmosis among the investigated high risk women at al-Hawija and at al-Baiji districts is due to many risk factors including age, number of deliveries, contact with host animals. This disease was elevated after Iraq occupation with a frequency of infection more than 40% compared to eighties of Iraqi life which was the frequency of the infected women with toxoplasmosis which did not exceed 2% of the women tested at that time by our laboratories.
