Background:Mass fatality incidents occur due to environmental,medical,vehicle,industrial,or terrorist events that can involve large numbers of *** of these victims is of utmost importance in these ***-beam computed tomography(CBCT)may be helpful in some forensic contexts,offering several advantages for postmortem forensic ***:The research study aims to evaluate the sexual dimorphism of the maxillary sinus and inter coronoid distance to estimate sex by using *** and Methods:In 40 CBCT scans of 20 males and 20 females,maxillary sinuses height,width and inter coronoid distances of mandible were measured for forensic *** high quality,reconstructed images ofbilateral maxillary sinuses,height,and width were measured,and in mandible,inter coronoid was measured in axial *** were tabulated and analyzed using an unpaired r-test and discriminant function analysis used to compare difierences in the measured parameters between males and ***:Mean values of inter coronoid in males and females are(♂=88.1,♀=78.1).The maxillary sinus right side height and width(♂=32.2,♀=24.6)(♂=19.7,♀=19.6)left side height and width(♂=32.7,♀=23.6)(♂=18.1,♀=17.8),respectively.A statistically significant(Ps found in maxillary sinus and inter coronoid distance between males and *** showed significantly larger dimensions of maxillary sinus and inter coronoid distance in males compared to *** correct predictive accuracy rate of sex detennination was 100% in females and 90% in males with overall accuracy of 95%.Conclusion:The present study showed the importance of maxillary sinus dimensions and inter coronoid distance in sex estimation using cone-beam computed tomography in forensic medicine.

Aim: Prostane, a polyherbal formulation, was evaluated for its efficacy on 5α-reductase inhibition, α-adrenergic anta-gonistic activity and testosterone-induced prostatic hyperplasia. Methods: 5α-reductase inhibition was evaluated usingrat prostate homogenate as an enzyme source. Adrenergic antagonistic activity was evaluated using isolated rat vas def-erens. Experimental prostatic hyperplasia was induced in rats by giving testosterone 3 rog/kg sc for 21 days. Re-sults: Prostane dose-dependently inhibited 5α-reductase activity and exhibited α-adrenergic antagonistic activity. Treat-ment with Prostane at 250, 500 and 750 mg/kg body wt, po for 21 days significantly reduced the prostatic weight, theepithelial height and the stromal proliferation in experimental prostatic hypertrophy. Conclusion: Prostane is effectivein the treatment of experimental prostatic hypertrophy in rats and may be passed on to clinical trials on benign prostatichypertrophy after necessary toxicological evaluations. With the evolution of location-based services(LBs),a new type of LBs has already gain a lot of attention and implementation,we name this kind of LBs as the Device-Dependent LBs(DLBs).In DLBs,the service provider(sP)will not only send the information according to the user’s location,more significant,he also provides a service device which will be carried by the *** has been successfully practised in some of the large cities around the world,for example,the shared bicycle in Beijing and *** this paper,we,for the first time,blow the whistle of the new location privacy challenges caused by DLBs,since the service device is enabled to perform the localization without the permission of the *** conquer these threats,we design a service architecture along with a credit system between DLBs provider and the *** credit system tie together the DLBs device usability with the curious behaviour upon user’s location privacy,DLBs provider has to sacrifice their revenue in order to gain extra location information of their *** make the simulation of our proposed scheme and the result convince its effectiveness.

Productivity status of traditional agrisilviculture system on northern and southern aspects in mid-hill situation of Garhwal Himalaya,India

The productivity of traditional agrisilviculture system(agricultural crops + trees) was investigated in the northern and southern aspects of mid-hill situation in Garhwal Himalaya, Uttarakhand, India during the 2004?2006.A total of 19 tree species were studied in both northern and southern aspects, out of which 17 tree species were selected in northern aspect and 12 tree species in southern aspect for phytosociological characteristic analysis of trees in agrisilvicultural *** most dominant tree species are Grewia optiva, Celtis australis and Melia azedarach and successively grown under traditional agrisilviculture *** results show that the annual productivity of all tree species was 3 775 kg·ha-1·a-1 in northern aspect(site-N) and 3 101 kg·ha-1·a-1 in southern aspect(site-s).*** had the highest productivity in both site-N and site-s among the tree species, followed by ***, Quercus leucotrichophora and *** dominant agricultural crops were Eleusine coracana in summer cereals, Phaseolus vulgaris in summer pulses-oilseeds and Triticum aestivum in the winter season in the *** average biological productivity of agricultural crops in northern aspect was about 16% higher than that in southern aspect under traditional agrisilviculture *** sole agricultural crop productivity(without trees) in northern aspect was also higher than that in southern *** obvious difference in annual productivity of trees and agriculture crops was observed between northern aspect and southern *** overall productivity in traditional agrisilviculture system(crop + tree) was 24%(in northern aspect) and 21%(in southern aspect) higher than that in sole cropping system.

Composites place a vital role in the applications of material science,***,automobile,marine,*** reinforcement composites are a trending research area in the field of metal matrix *** this research article dual reinforcement,*** silicate(ZrsiO4)and carbon,is added to molten LM13 using the stir casting process in terms of(as cast),(3+3)mass%,(6+3)mass%,(9+3)mass%and(12+3)mass%respectively,using copper as a chill kept toward one *** tensile,the hardness,and the microstructure of the composite specimens at the chill end and non chill end are *** results are compared with analytical results and *** is found an increase in reinforcement and chilling effect enhances the properties of the *** ultimate tensile strength(UTs)and the hardness increase gradually with the increase in ZrsiO4 *** maximum UTs,the hardness and the signal to noise ratio(s/N ratio)for mechanical characterizations are evaluated using Taguchi *** is found that 9 mass%of ZrsiO4 yields better results than the other *** are tabulated and compared using statistical *** studies reveal the uniform distribution of matrix and reinforcements with negligible agglomeration.

Voltage Mode Cascadable AllPass sections Using single Active Element and Grounded Passive Components

In this paper, four new first order voltage mode cascadable allpass sections are proposed using single active element and three grounded passive components, ideal for IC implementation. The active element used is a fully differential current conveyor. All the proposed circuit possess high input and low output impedance feature which is a desirable feature for voltagemode circuits. Nonideality aspects and parasitic effects are also given. As an application, a multiphase oscillator is designed. The proposed circuits are verified through PsPICE simulation results using TsMC 0.35 µm CMOs parameters.

采用水热法制备了氮、硫共掺杂碳量子点(N,s-CQDs),并用超声辅助法合成了N,s-CQDs修饰的Mn_(0.5)Cd_(0.5)s(MCs)复合光催化材料.研究表明,在模拟太阳光照射下,质量分数为1%的N,s-CQDs/MCs的光催化产氢速率显著提高,为34159.25μmol/(g·h),是MCs的1.63倍,是质量分数为1%的CQDs/MCs的1.14倍.此复合物光催化产氢性能的提高主要归因于N,s-CQDs优异的电子迁移能力以及MCs与N,s-CQDs之间的紧密接触.
