The effect of single overload on the fatigue crack growth in 2024-T3 and 7075-T6 Al alloys was *** tests under constantamplitude loading with overload peak were carried out on V-notched *** analysis was used as a principal approach to explain the crack growth retardation due to the *** electron microscopy(sEM)analyses were conducted on the fractured surface of failed specimens to study the retardation *** obtained results show that the overload application generates a plastic zone in both aluminum *** generated plastic zone is three times larger in the case of 2024-T3 compared to 7075-T6,and thus,a significant crack retardation was induced for *** retardation effect due to the overload for 2024-T3 and 7075-T6 lasted for about 10 mm and 1 mm,respectively,from the point of overload application.

Zinc and cadmium pollutants cause a significant environmental effect that cannot be *** to their considerable amount in an aqueous environment,industries are seeking suitable adsorbents that are environmentally friendly and inexpensive for removing metals from wastewater before disposing of them in surface *** research employed original MXene(MX)and chitosan-modified MXene(CsMX)to extract zinc(Zn(Ⅱ))and cadmium(Cd(Ⅱ))metal ions from water-based *** composite material produced was analyzed using techniques such as X-ray Diffraction(XRD),scanning Electron Microscopy(sEM),Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET).The effects of contact duration,p H of the solution,and initial concentration of metal ions on the adsorption process of Zn(Ⅱ)and Cd(Ⅱ)onto both MX and CsMX composites were *** and prepared CsMX composite presented a high adsorption capacity for both studied heavy metals,which were 91.55 and 73.82 mg/g for Zn(Ⅱ)and Cd(Ⅱ)onto MX,106.84 and 93.07 mg/g for Cd(Ⅱ)and Zn(Ⅱ)onto CsMX composite,***,the maximum competitive adsorption capacities for Zn(Ⅱ)onto MX and CsMX composites are 77.29 and 93.47 mg/g,and for are Cd(Ⅱ)60.30 and 79.66 mg/g,***,the removal capacities for both single and competitive metal ions were superior to CsMX ***,the adsorption capacities after five successive regeneration sequences were only dropped by 13.2%for Zn(Ⅱ)and 17.4%for Cd(Ⅱ)onto the CsMX composite compared to the first *** results confirm that both metals could be efficiently terminated from wastewater,which makes the prepared CsMX composite a favorable candidate adsorbent in practical applications.

Effects ofγ-irradiation and deformation temperature（T）on the tensile properties of Pb-2mass% sb alloys were *** samples were annealed at 458 kfor 2hin air,then water quenched after they wereγ-irradiated（the different doses were 0.5,1.0,1.5,and 2.0 MGy）.The tensile properties were performed using stress-strain measurements at a constant strain rate（1.2×10^（-3） s^（-1））and at different T（303-393k）.It was found that at constant dose,the fracture stress（σF）decreases while the fracture strain（εF）increases as *** particular T,σFincreases whileεFdecreases with increasing *** strain-hardening exponent（n）,which is the slope of the relation between ln（σ）and ln（ε）of the parabolic part of the stress-strain curve,was determined and its values increase as Tincreases and decrease as the dose *** value of the activation energy increases as the dose increases from 0.07 eV for un-irradiated sample to 0.1eV for the 2 MGy-irradiated *** values are in accordance with that needed for dislocation movement and ordering *** interpretation of the results was given,based on the creation of point and line defects due toγ-irradiation,and that results in a distribution of beta phase（sb-phase）,leading to a difficulty in the movement of dislocations,so there is an increase in alloy hardness.

In this research, the effects of target sputtering power on the structure and optical properties of radio frequency （RF） sputtered Ti6A14V films were investigated. Different sputtering RF powers were used to produce different thicknesses of Ti6A14V thin films, From the X-ray diffraction, it was found that the Ti6A14V films had polycrystalline cubic and hexagonal structures and increased films crystallinity and crystalline size with increasing the sputtering power. Atomic forces microscopy （AFM） gave us a nanometric film character, films homogeneity, and surfaces roughness. A higher degree of roughness and average grain size with increasing RF power was exhibited. Band gap and refractive index of Ti6A14V thin films varied with sputtering RF powers.

Carbon tetrachloride(CCl4)is a hepatotoxin that triggers liver *** study aimed to evaluate the protective effect of phytochemicals detected in Moringa oleifera *** extract(MOLE)on CCl4-induced hepatotoxicity in ***,total phenolics,and total fl avonoids were detected in *** markedly decreased the elevation of serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase(AsT)in consistence with the ameliorating effect on CCl4-induced histopathological ***,MOLE significantly alleviated the decrease in the antioxidant defense mechanism induced by *** suppressing effect of MOLE on the boosted inflammatory pathway triggered by CCl4 was detected by measuring the protein levels of nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B-cells(NF-κB-p65),toll-like receptor 4(TLR4),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin(IL)-6,IL-1β,and IL-8 as well as the relative expressions of nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κB),TNF-α,IL-1β,and TLR4 *** and genotoxicity induced by CCl4 were signifi cantly alleviated by *** co-administration modulated TLR4/NF-κB pathway as presented by the suppressed gene expression of TLR4 and NF-κB as well as by the reduced protein expression of TLR4 and NF-κ*** conclusion,MOLE has a multifarious protective role against hepatotoxicity through control of oxidative stress and modulation of TLR4/NF-κB.
