Biobased smart packaging is been the most interesting research *** this study,pH-sensitive films based on anthocyanin molecules from red cabbage and sepiolite mineral nano-clay as functional additives were *** films were fabricated by casting method of blend polymer Chitosan/Poly(Vinyl Alcohol)at two fillers loading(5wt.%and 10wt.%).The structural,morphological,thermal,optical,hygroscopic,and mechanical properties as well as the pH sensitivity of films were *** thermal properties confirm that the amount of the anthocyanin in sepiolite was around 6.4%.The tensile strength and the young’s modulus of produced composites at 10wt.%sepiolite–anthocyanin content was increased to 8.90 MPa and 163 MPa,*** maximum water absorption that the films may absorb was 12.3%.pH sensitivity analysis showed that the smart films change the color by changing the pH level,from pink at pH lower than 6 to yellow at pH higher than ***,the developed pH-sensitive films show band gaps in visible light that make them useful for monitoring milk spoilage.

The measurement of solar irradiation is still a necessary basis for planning the installation of photovoltaic parks and concentrating solar power systems. The meteorological stations for the measurement of the solar flux at any point of the earth’s surface are still insufficient worldwide;moreover, these measurements on the ground are expensive, and rare. To overcome this shortcoming, the exploitation of images from the European meteorological satellites of the second generation MsG is a reliable solution to estimate the global horizontal irradiance GHI on the ground with a good spatial and temporal coverage. since 2004, the new generation MsG satellites provide images of Africa and Europe every 15 minutes with a spatial resolution of about 1 km × 1 km at the sub-satellite point. The objective of this work was to apply the Brazil-sR method to evaluate the global horizontal GHI irradiance for the entire Moroccan national territory from the European Meteosat second Generation MsG satellite images. This bibliographic review also exposed the standard model of calculation of GHI in clear sky by exploiting the terrestrial meteorological measurements.

A new biocidal agents fluorine substituted-3-thioxopyrimidine-5-carbonitriles (2-9) and/or the related fluorine substi- tuted pyrimido (4,5-d) pyrimidines (10-14) were synthesized by the cycloaddition of fluorinated β- arylidine malo- nonitriles (1a-c) followed by a nucleophilic attack against α,β-bifunctional reagents in different conditions. structures of the fluorine targets were characterized by their elemental analysis and spectral data (UV, IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and mass measurements) and further evaluated as photochemical probe for inhibition of Vitiligo, it was found that compounds 5, 9, 11 and 12 exhibited high potency over the investigated compounds.

Bronchotomy as a safe and Feasible Alternative to Failed Bronchoscopic Removal of Foreign Body Inhalation in Pediatrics. A seven-Year Review

strong>Background:strong> Aspiration of foreign body is popular in pediatric age group and is considered as an important cause of respiratory distress and chocking in these children. Management strategies are different according to the mode of presentation. This study aims to assess the efficacy of rigid bronchoscopy and the role of bronchotomy as a safe alternative for failed removal of inhaled foreign body. strong>Methods:strong> We enrolled 254 patients with foreign body aspiration (FBA) up to 14 years old in a retrospective observational study. Our patients were reviewed from the Cardiothoracic surgery Department and cases referred from Otorhinolaryngology Department, Menoufia University Hospital between June 2010 and July 2017. Using jet ventilation technique, foreign body was removed by the rigid bronchoscopy with either extracting forceps or postural drainage. surgical interference such as bronchotomy needed in distally impacted foreign bodies (FBs). strong>Results:strong> Our study included 254 patients prepared for bronchoscopic FBs extraction. Most of cases (68.8%) presented early within first week (174 cases). No FBs detected in 44 cases by rigid bronchoscopy, although it was successful in 176 (69.5%) cases with non- impacted inhaled FBs. 14 cases only needed postural drainage due to inaccessible FBs, another 12 cases failed to extract FB with rigid bronchoscopy but they were managed with flexible bronchoscopy. Bronchotomy was needed for impacted FBs in eight cases (3%). strong>Conclusion:strong> This study’s findings support that rigid bronchoscopy is the gold standard in the diagnosis and removal of foreign body aspirations in pediatrics, but rigid bronchoscopy demonstrated less capability in the diagnosis and removal of small distally located foreign bodies. Bronchotomy is safe and effective alternative.

Computational Analysis for solving the Linear space-Fractional Telegraph Equation

Over the last few years, there has been a significant increase in attention paid to fractional differential equations, given their wide array of applications in the fields of physics and engineering. The recent development of using fractional telegraph equations as models in some fields (e.g., the thermal diffusion in fractal media) has heightened the importance of examining the method of solutions for such equations (both approximate and analytic). The present work is designed to serve as a valuable contribution to work in this field. The key objective of this work is to propose a general framework that can be used to guide quadratic spline functions in order to create a numerical method for obtaining an approximation solution using the linear space-fractional telegraph equation. Additionally, the Von Neumann method was employed to measure the stability of the analytical scheme, which showed that the proposed method is conditionally stable. What’s more, the proposal contains a numerical example that illustrates how the proposed method can be implemented practically, whilst the error estimates and numerical stability results are discussed in depth. The findings indicate that the proposed model is highly effective, convenient and accurate for solving the relevant problems and is suitable for use with approximate solutions acquired through the two-dimensional differential transform method that has been developed for linear partial differential equations with space- and time-fractional derivatives.

This study has identify useful reduced mechanisms that can be used in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation of the flow field, combustion and emissions of gas turbine engine combustors. Reduced mechanisms lessen computational cost and possess the ability to accurately predict the overall flame structure, including gas temperature and species as CH4, CO and NOx. The s-sTEP algorithm which based on computational singular perturbation method (CsP) is performed for reduced the detailed mechanism GRI-3.0. This algorithm required as input: the detailed mechanism, a numerical solution of the problem and the desired number of steps in the reduced mechanism. In this work, we present a 10-step reduced mechanism obtained through s-sTEP algorithm. The rate of each reaction in the reduced mechanism depends on all species, steady-state and non-steady state. The former are calculated from the solution of a system of steady-state algebraic relations with the point relaxation algorithm. Based on premixed code calculations, The numeric results which were obtained for 1 atm ≤ Pressure ≤ 30 atm and 1.4 ≤ ф ≤ 0.6 on the basis of the ten steps global mechanism, were compared with those computed on the basis of the detailed mechanism GRI-3.0. The 10-step reduced mechanism predicts with accuracy the similar results obtained by the full GRI-3.0 mechanism for both NOx and CH4 chemistry.

Parkinson's disease is a neurodegenerative disorder caused by loss of dopamine neurons in the substantia nigra pars compacta. Tremor, rigidity, and bradykinesia are the major symptoms of the disease. These motor impairments are often accompanied by affective and emotional dysfunctions which have been largely studied over the last decade. The aim of this study was to investigate emotional processing organization in the brain of patients with Parkinson's disease and to explore whether there are differences between recognition of different types of emotions in Parkinson's disease. We examined 18 patients with Parkinson's disease(8 men, 10 women) with no history of neurological or psychiatric comorbidities. All these patients underwent identical brain blood oxygenation level-dependent functional magnetic resonance imaging for emotion evaluation. Blood oxygenation level-dependent functional magnetic resonance imaging results revealed that the occipito-temporal cortices, insula, orbitofrontal cortex, basal ganglia, and parietal cortex which are involved in emotion processing, were activated during the functional control. Additionally, positive emotions activate larger volumes of the same anatomical entities than neutral and negative emotions. Results also revealed that Parkinson's disease associated with emotional disorders are increasingly recognized as disabling as classic motor symptoms. These findings help clinical physicians to recognize the emotional dysfunction of patients with Parkinson's disease.

This study was designed to prepare silver, zinc and gold nanoparticles (NPs), AgNPs, ZnNPs and AuNPs, by biosynthesis technique using methanolic extract of span>Rhanterium epapposum flowers using AgNOsub>3sub>, Zn (CHsub>3sub>COsub>2sub>)sub>2sub> and HAuClsub>4sub>·3Hsub>2sub>O as starting materials. The physical properties of the formed NPs were characterized by ultraviolet spectroscopy (UV), X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy and Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The results revealed that, AgNPs were homogeneous and spherical in shape, with average diameter 16.3 nm. While, ZnNPs were approximately triangle and hexagonal shaped, with average diameter 23.5 nm. Most of the synthesized AuNPs were spherical in shape with average diameter 17.9 nm.
