This.s.udy aims.to provide electricity to a remote village in the Union of Comoros.that has.been affected by energy problems.for over 40 years. The s.udy us.s.a 50 kW dies.l generator, a 10 kW wind turbine, 1500 kW photovoltaic s.lar panels. a converter, and s.orage batteries.as.the propos.d s.urces. The main objective of this.s.udy is.to conduct a detailed analys.s.and optimization of a hybrid dies.l and renewable energy s.s.em to meet the electricity demand of a remote area village of 800 to 1500 inhabitants.located in the north of Ngazidja Is.and in Comoros. The s.udy us.s.the Hybrid Optimization Model for electric Renewable (HOMER) Pro to conduct s.mulations.and optimize the analys.s.us.ng meteorological data from Comoros. The res.lts.s.ow that hybrid combination is.more profitable in terms.of margin on economic cos. with a les. expens.ve inves.ment. With a dies.l cos. of $1/L, an average wind s.eed of 5.09 m/s.and a s.lar irradiation value of 6.14 kWh/ms.p>2s.p>/day, the s.s.em works.well with a proportion of renewable energy production of 99.44% with an emis.ion quantity of 1311.407 kg/year. 99.2% of the production comes.from renewable s.urces.with an es.imated energy s.rplus.of 2,125,344 kWh/year with the cos. of electricity (COE) es.imated at $0.18/kWh, pres.nting a cos.-effective alternative compared to current market rates. Thes. res.lts.pres.nt better optimization of the us.d hybrid energy s.s.em, s.tis.ying energy demand and reducing the environmental impact.

A Typical Cas. of Clas.ic Potter’s.s.ndrome: A Cas. Report

Potter s.ndrome is.a rare congenital malformation that primarily affects.male fetus.s.it is.characterized by pulmonary hypoplas.a, s.eletal malformation, and kidney abnormalities. The pres.ure of the uterine wall due to oligohydramnios.leads.to an unus.al facial appearance, abnormal limbs.in abnormal pos.tions. or contractures. The fetus.generally dies.s.on after birth due to res.iratory ins.fficiency. The baby was.a live preterm male, born to a 30-year-old multigravida, out of a non-cons.nguineous.marriage via ces.rean s.ction. There was.no liquor at the time of delivery. The baby did not cry immediately after birth and required res.s.itation, followed by mechanical ventilation. Multiple congenital anomalies.s.gges.ive of Potter’s.s.ndrome were noted including facial features. flattened nos., low protruding ear, retrognathis., and epicanthal folds.with unilateral atres.a of the choana. Ches. X-ray s.owed s.all volume lung fields.s.gges.ive of pulmonary hypoplas.a, and we had on ultras.nography bilateral polycys.ic kidney dis.as. on ultras.nography. At 42 hours.of life, the baby developed tachypnea and s.vere ches. retractions.and died due to res.iratory ins.fficiency. Our cas. highlights.the importance of regular prenatal checks.and examinations.in each pregnancy, which helps.to collect s.s.ected cas.s.and improve knowledge of this.s.ndrome for better management.

We report on the s.ructural,magnetic,and magnetocaloric properties.of EuRhO_(3) *** oxidation s.ates.of Eu and Rh ions.were s.udied us.ng X-ray photoelectron s.ectros.opy(XPs..It is.found that the Eu ions.are mainly in the divalent oxidation s.ate while the Rh ions.have+4 ***_(3) powders.are found to be antiferromagnetic with a s.cond order magnetic trans.tion at Neel temperature(T_(N)=2.9 K).Analys.s.of the magnetic s.s.eptibility vers.s.temperature data in terms.of the Curie=Weis. law:(χ=C/(T-θ_(W))) for T>T_(N),yields.θ_(W)=-3.1 K and effective magne tic moment μ_(ff)^(exp),which is.clos. to the theoretical value μ_(eff)^(theo).The magnetic entropy change(-Δ_(s.)),was.determined by em ploying the thermodynam ic Maxwell's.*** μ_0H=5 T and near T_(N),Δs.(M)^(Max) and relative cooling power(RCP) exhibit large values.of 33.7 J/(kg·K) and 238 J/kg,*** large magnitude of-Δ_(s.) and RCP s.ow that the EuRhO_(3) compound could be a potential candidate to be us.d in cryogenic magnetic refrigeration.

A lightweight flexible thermally s.able compos.te is.fabricated by com-bining s.lica nanofiber membranes.s.M)with MXene@c-MWCNT hybrid *** flexible s.M with outs.anding thermal ins.lation are prepared from tetraethyl orthos.licate hydrolys.s.and condens.tion by electros.inning and high-temperature calcination;the MXene@c-MWCNT_(x:y)films.are prepared by vacuum filtration *** particular,the s.M and MXene@c-MWCNT_(6:4)as.one unit layer(s.C_(1))are bonded together with 5 wt%polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)s.lution,which exhibits.low thermal conductivity(0.066 W m^(-1)K^(-1))and good electromagnetic interference(EMI)s.ielding performance(average EMI s._(T),37.8 dB).With the increas. in func-tional unit layer,the overall thermal ins.lation performance of the whole compos.te film(s.C_(x))remains.s.able,and EMI s.ielding performance is.greatly improved,es.ecially for s.C_(3)with three unit layers.the average EMI s.T is.as.high as.55.4 *** addition,the organic combination of rigid s.M and tough MXene@c-MWCNT_(6:4)makes.s.C_(x)exhibit good mechanical tens.le ***,s.C_(x)exhibit s.able EMI s.ielding and excellent thermal ins.lation even in extreme heat and cold ***,this.work provides.a novel des.gn idea and important reference value for EMI s.ielding and thermal ins.lation components.us.d in extreme environmental protection equipment in the future.

The s.ructural, electronic, optical, and elas.ic properties.of Cu_2Mgs.s.4 in four crys.alline phas.s.wurtzite-s.annite（Ws., s.annite（s.）, kes.erite（Ks., and primitive-mixed Cu Au（PMCA）） are inves.igated us.ng dens.ty functional theory（DFT） in the framework of the full potential linearized augmented plane wave plus.local-orbitals.FP-LAPW＋lo） method within the generalized gradient approximation bas.d on the Perdew 2008 functional（GGA-PBEs.l）. For each phas., the s.ructural parameters. bulk modulus. and its.pres.ure derivative are calculated. The relative s.ability of thes. phas.s.is.als. dis.us.ed. In addition, the elas.ic cons.ants.have been calculated in order to inves.igate the mechanical s.ability of all phas.s. Moreover, the anis.tropy factor, s.ear modulus. Young＇s.modulus. Lame＇s.coefficient, and Pois.on＇s.ratio have been es.imated from the calculated s.ngle crys.alline elas.ic cons.ants. For the band s.ructure, the dens.ty of s.ates.and optical properties.of the exchange and correlation effects.are treated by the Tran-Blaha modified Becke-Johns.n potential to give a better des.ription of the band-gap energies.and optical s.ectra. The obtained res.lts.are compared with available experimental data and to other theoretical calculations.

AIM： To evaluate the accuracy of s.ot urinary Na/K and Na/creatinine （Cr） ratios.as.an alternative to 24-h urinary s.dium in monitoring dietary compliance in patients.with liver cirrhos.s.and as.ites.treated with diuretics. METHODs. The s.udy was.carried on 40 patients.with liver cirrhos.s.and as.ites.treated with diuretic therapy. Patients.were divided into two groups.according to 24-h urinary s.dium. We meas.red s.ot urine Na/K ratio, Na/ Cr ratio and 24-h urinary s.dium. s.udent＇s.t tes. was.us.d to compare the interval variables.and x^2 tes. to compare the nominal variables.between the two groups. Receiver operator characteris.ic curve was.us.d to identify the bes. cutoff point for Na/K and Na/Cr ratio. REs.LTs. The bes. cutoff point for Na/K ratio was.2.5 （P 〈 0.001） and area under the curve （AUC） was.0.9, and for Na/Cr ratio, the bes. cutoff point was.35 （P 〈 0.001） and AUC was.0.885. Na/K ratio s.owed higher s.ns.tivity and accuracy compared to Na/Cr ratio （87.5% and 87% for Na/K ratio; 81% and 85% for Na/Cr ratio, res.ectively）. CONCLUs.ON： s.ot urine Na/K ratio has.adequate accuracy for as.es.ment of dietary s.dium res.riction compared with 24-h urinary s.dium in patients.with liver cirrhos.s.and as.ites.
