数据中心网络（DCNs）中拥塞控制机制的研究主要集中在如何实现DCNs的三个主要目标:高带宽、低延迟和稳定性。高精度拥塞控制（HPCC）同时实现了这些目标。但是其公平性欠佳。本论文主要研究如何改进HPCC,从而提升其公平性。本研究提出对HPCC进行有效的调整,对HPCC-WAI（window additive increase）中最重要的参数之一进行了广泛的研究,该参数负责控制并发流数量和收敛速度与公平性之间的权衡。其中的重点是通过更改生成此参数值的公式来找到此参数的最佳值。在WAI值的生成过程中,主要依赖于流的个数,每次流的个数发生变化时,都会生成一个新的WAI值,这一过程影响到公平性。所提出的WAI最优值的关键思想不是完全依赖于流的数量,而是不管流的数量或其数据的大小如何,为WAI找到一个恒定的值,以实现公平性和零队列长度的快速收敛。在仿真中,该方法在通过最佳公平性提高HPCC性能的过程中的实验结果非常令人满意。经过大量观察和评估过程,选择250MB作为WAI的最佳值,这证明该值为HPCC提供了公平性,高链路利用率和零队列长度的最佳值。

Ameliorative properties of Iranian Trigonella foenum-graecum L. seeds and Punica granatum L. peel extracts in streptozotocin-induced experimental diabetic guinea pigs

Objective: To assess the ameliorative properties of Iranian Trigonella foenum-graecum L.(T. foenum-graecum) seeds and Punica granatum L.(P. granatum) peel extracts against streptozotocin-induced diabetes in male guinea ***: Sixty guinea pigs were divided into six groups(10 guinea pigs per group).Group 1 consisted of normal animals. Groups 2 and 3 were treated with Iranian T. foenum-graecum seeds and P. granatum peel extract alone, respectively. Group 4 was treated with streptozotocin only; whereas Groups 5 and 6 receiving streptozotocin were treated with Iranian T. foenum-graecum seeds and P. granatum peel extract, *** animals were treated for 30 days, and the body weight, blood and liver biochemical parameters were ***: Guinea pigs exposed to streptozotocin showed an alteration in body weight gain, fasting glucose level, kidney function parameters(blood urea nitrogen and creatinine) as well as decreased serum and hepatic total protein level. In addition, it increased the cholesterol and triglyceride level, while decreasing the hepatic glucose-6 phosphate dehydrogenase activity, glycogen, glutathione content and hepatic catalase activity. Oral treatment with T. foenum-graecum seeds and P. granatum peel extracts revealed significant protective properties with respect to body weight gain and other biochemical parameters ***: The Iranian T. foenum-graecum seeds and P. granatum peel extracts are significantly potent in ameliorating diabetic condition induced by streptozotocin and improving various biochemical parameters in serum and liver of guinea pigs.

Background: Hepatocellular carcinoma is the third leading cause of tumor related mortality and develops mostly in patients with chronic liver disease and liver cirrhosis. Human hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) is produced in various organs of the body and is characterized as a multifunctional factor with various biologic activities. Aim: Our aim was to investigate the predictive factors of recurrence specially the role of HGF in patients with HCC treated with TACE. Patients and Methods: one hundred HCC patients treated by TACE who achieved complete response were included and divided into two groups according to disease free survival (DFS) status at 1 year: the non-early recurrence (NER) group (1) and the early recurrence (ER) group (2). Univariate binary logistic regression analysis for the possible risk factors of recurrence showed that AFP, multinodularity and HGF level were significant. Rupture of a True Aneurysm of the Posterior Meningeal Artery at Its Anomalous Origin from the Internal Carotid Artery: Case Report

The posterior meningeal artery (PMA) usually originates from the third segment of the vertebral artery. Many variations in its origin and course have been observed;however, as far as we know, the association of true aneurysm of the PMA and its anomalous origin from the internal carotid artery has not been reported previously. We reported the case of a 59-year-old woman who suddenly presented a loss of consciousness without head trauma, computed tomography (CT) revelated intracerebellous hematoma associated with a subarachnoid hemorrhage of the posterior cerebral fossa. Cerebral angiography demonstrated a true aneurysm of the PMA which originated from the internal carotid artery.
