Usually,rural areas can be electrified via three-phase distribution transformers with relatively large *** such areas,low voltage lines are used for long distances,which cause power losses and voltage drop for different types of *** losses and improving voltage profiles in rural distribution networks are significant challenges for electricity distribution *** different solutions were proposed in the literature to overcome these challenges,most of them face difficulties when applied in the conventional distribution *** address the above issues,an applicable solution is proposed in this paper by installing a number of small-capacity distribution transformers instead of every single large-capacity transformer in rural *** proposed approach is implemented in the branch network of Al-Hoqool village,which belongs to the Nineveh distribution *** network has been inspected on-site,drawn,and analyzed using the electrical systems analysis program(ETAP).The analysis showed that using the single-phase pole-mounted transformers can improve the voltage in the network’s end by 29%and enhance the voltage profile for all *** analysis has also demonstrated that the modification can reduce the total power losses by 78%compared to the existing *** the economic aspect,the payback period for the proposed network is assigned to be 20 months.

Quantum correlations that surpass entanglement are of great importance in the realms of quantum information processing and quantum ***,for quantum systems prepared in pure states,it is difficult to differentiate between quantum entanglement and quantum ***,this indistinguishability is no longer holds for mixed *** contribute to a better understanding of this differentiation,we have explored a simple model for both generating and measuring these quantum *** study concerns two macroscopic mechanical resonators placed in separate fabry–Pérot cavities,coupled through the photon hopping *** system offers a comprehensively way to investigate and quantify quantum correlations beyond entanglement between these mechanical *** key ingredient in analyzing quantum correlation in this system is the global covariance *** forms the basis for computing two essential metrics:the logarithmic negativity(E_(N)^(m))and the Gaussian interferometric power(P_(G)^(m)).These metrics provide the tools to measure the degree of quantum entanglement and quantum correlations,*** study reveals that the Gaussian interferometric power(P_(G)^(m))proves to be a more suitable metric for characterizing quantum correlations among the mechanical modes in an optomechanical quantum system,particularly in scenarios featuring resilient photon hopping.

We aim to evaluate the incidence of incontinence following laser endoscopic enucleation of the prostate(EEP)comparing en-bloc(Group 1)versus 2-lobe/3-lobe techniques(Group 2).We performed a retrospective review of patients undergoing EEP for benign prostaticenlargement in 12 centers between January 2020 and January *** were presented as median and interquartile range(IQR).Univariable and multivariable logistic regression analysis was performed to evaluate factors associated with stress urinary incontinence(SUI)and mixed urinary incontinence(mUI).There were 1711 patients in Group 1 and 3357 patients in Group *** in Group 2were significantly younger(68[62–73]years vs 69[63–74]years,P=0.002).median(interquartile range)prostate volume(PV)wassimilar between the groups(70[52–92]ml in Group 1 vs 70[54–90]ml in Group 2,P=0.774).There was no difference in preoperativeInternational Prostate Symptom Score,quality of life,or maximum flow ***,morcellation,and total surgical time weresignificantly shorter in Group *** 1 month,overall incontinence rate was 6.3%in Group 1 versus 5.3%in Group 2(P=0.12),and urge incontinence was significantly higher in Group 1(55.1%vs 37.3%in Group 2,Pfter 3 months,the overall rate ofincontinence was 1.7%in Group 1 versus 2.3%in Group 2(P=0.06),and SUI was significantly higher in Group 2(55.6%vs 24.1%in Group 1,P=0.002).At multivariable analysis,PV and IPSS were factors significantly associated with higher odds of transient SUI/***,surgical time,and no early apical release technique were factors associated with higher odds of persistent SUI/mUI.

Active new ceria-promoted platinum supported on ZSm-5 catalysts were prepared and characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),fourier transform infrared spectra(fTIR),transform electron microscopy(TEm),temperature programmed desorption(TPD),and fTIR of CO *** samples were prepared by the incipient wetness impregnation method and calcined at 500℃.The XRD patterns and fTIR spectra prove that the zeolite framework is kept unaltered after metal *** images prove the presence of Pt nanoparticles with particle size starting from 14 to 27 *** fTIR data suggest the formation of Pt-O-Ce ***-situ fTIR of CO adsorption over reduced samples proves the presence of Pt~0 only,and no Pt^(n+)-CO species are *** prepared catalysts were tested in both oxidation reaction(CO oxidation) in the gas phase and in reduction reaction(4-nitrophenol reduction) in the aqueous ***,CO oxidation by O_(2) results in the formation of a CO_(2) peak at 2347 cm^(-1) as the only CO oxidation product in the studied frequency *** intensity of the CO_(2) peak increases after the addition of Ce,and it is 4 times higher in Pt_(1) Ce_(0.5)ZSm-5 than that in the Ce-free *** to the fTIR data and previous reports,the increase in the catalytic activity may be due to the formation of Pt-O-Ce ***,Ce-promoted Pt_(1) ZSm5 also exhibits enhanced catalytic activity towards the reduction of 4-nitrophenol to 4-aminophenol by NaBH_(4) in the aqueous *** first-order rate constant of the reduction increases ≈13 times after incorporating equal ratios of Pt and Ce(Pt_(1) Ce_(1)ZSm-5),and the activation energy(E_(a)) decreases to 40% of that in the reaction over Pt_(1) ZSm-5.

One of the leading causes of mortality worldwide is liver *** earlier the detection of hepatic tumors,the lower the mortality *** paper introduces a computer-aided diagnosis system to extract hepatic tumors from computed tomography scans and classify them into malignant or benign *** hepatic tumors from computed tomography scans is considered a challenging task due to the fuzziness in the liver pixel range,intensity values overlap between the liver and neighboring organs,high noise from computed tomography scanner,and large variance in tumors *** proposed method consists of three main stages;liver segmentation using fast Generalized fuzzy C-means,tumor segmentation using dynamic thresholding,and the tumor’s classification into malignant/benign using support vector machines *** performance of the proposed system was evaluated using three liver benchmark datasets,which are mICCAI-Sliver07,LiTS17,and *** proposed computer adided diagnosis system achieved an average accuracy of 96.75%,sensetivity of 96.38%,specificity of 95.20%and Dice similarity coefficient of 95.13%.

Background: Confusion often arises in caring for diabetic foot infections and ulcers, especially with antimicrobials;we aim to shed light on this entity and alert healthcare workers to its stewardship. methods: Records were reviewed between february 2016 and September 2023. Data for patients diagnosed with diabetes and foot ulcers, infected or not, were examined following ICD 9 search terms. Records for patients were included if they were prediabetic/diabetic adults with foot ulcers, more than 18 years old, and on antidiabetic treatment. Patients were excluded if they insulin resistant, with normal HgbA1c levels, wheel-chair dependent, bed-bound, non-diabetic patients, diabetic patients who had vascular lower limb surgery earlier to ulcers, diabetic patients who had aortocoronary bypass, deep venous thrombosis within six months, malignancy, and severe clinical depression. A modified IWGDf/IDSA guidelines definitions for DfI and DfU was considered. Statistical analysis was done using R programming. Statistical methods were employed as appropriate, and a significant P-value was considered for P Results: most characteristics were well balanced between DfI and DfU, on imaging osteomyelitis and tissue swelling were significantly more in DfI. Endovascular radiological procedures showed angiograms to be considerably more in DfI, while angioplasty was more in DfU, in addition to smoking. Bacteremia was uncommon, and swab cultures were mostly polymicrobial in both ulcers;no clear association with blood bacteria was detected with the polymicrobial growth, though few were concordant. Antimicrobials prescribed for both ulcers were not statistically different except for carbapenems, which were more in DfI (P Conclusion: Attention should be paid to best practices while caring for diabetic ulcers. These include swab culture interpretations, the use of antimicrobials, and plan management according to DfI or DfU to utilize either local care or combination with antimicrobials.
