As the Internet of Things(IoT)continues to expand,incorporating a vast array of devices into a digital ecosystem also increases the risk of cyber threats,necessitating robust defense *** paper presents an innovative hybrid deep learning architecture that excels at detecting IoT threats in real-world *** proposed model combines Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN),Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory(BLSTM),Gated Recurrent Units(GRU),and Attention mechanisms into a cohesive *** integrated structure aims to enhance the detection and classification of complex cyber threats while accommodating the operational constraints of diverse IoT *** evaluated our model using the RT-IoT2022 dataset,which includes various devices,standard operations,and simulated *** research’s significance lies in the comprehensive evaluation metrics,including Cohen Kappa and Matthews Correlation Coefficient(MCC),which underscore the model’s reliability and predictive *** model surpassed traditional machine learning algorithms and the state-of-the-art,achieving over 99.6%precision,recall,F1-score,False Positive Rate(FPR),Detection Time,and accuracy,effectively identifying specific threats such as Message Queuing Telemetry Transport(MQTT)Publish,Denial of Service Synchronize network packet crafting tool(DOS SYN hping),and Network Mapper Operating System Detection(NMAP OS DETECTION).The experimental analysis reveals a significant improvement over existing detection systems,significantly enhancing IoT security *** our experimental analysis,we have demonstrated a remarkable enhancement in comparison to existing detection systems,which significantly strength-ens the security standards of *** model effectively addresses the need for advanced,dependable,and adaptable security solutions,serving as a symbol of the power of deep learning in strengthening IoT ecosystems amidst the constantly evolving cyber threat *** achievemen

This research investigates the hydrothermal synthesis and annealing duration effects on nickel sulfide(NiS_(2) quantum dots(QDs)for catalytic decolorization of methylene blue(MB)dye and antimicrobial *** size increased with longer annealing,reducing catalytic ***–vis,XRD,TEM,and FTIR analyses probed optical structural,morphological,and vibrational *** confirmed NiS2's anorthic structure,with crystallite size growing from 6.53 to 7.81 nm during extended ***–Vis exhibited a bathochromic shift,reflecting reduced band gap energy(Eg)in NiS_(2).TEM revealed NiS_(2)QD formation,with agglomerated QD average size increasing from 7.13 to 9.65 nm with prolonged *** NiS_(2) showed significant MB decolorization(89.85%)in acidic *** NiS_(2) QDs demonstrated notable antibacterial activity,yielding a 6.15mm inhibition zone against Escherichia coli(***)compared to ***-principles computation supported a robust interaction between MB and NiS_(2),evidenced by obtained adsorption *** study highlights the nuanced relationship between annealing duration,structural changes,and functional properties in NiS_(2)QDs,emphasizing their potential applications in catalysis and antibacterial interventions.

Enhanced termination of zinc and cadmium ions from wastewater employing plain and chitosan-modified mxenes:synthesis,characterization,and adsorption performance

Zinc and cadmium pollutants cause a significant environmental effect that cannot be *** to their considerable amount in an aqueous environment,industries are seeking suitable adsorbents that are environmentally friendly and inexpensive for removing metals from wastewater before disposing of them in surface *** research employed original MXene(MX)and chitosan-modified MXene(CSMX)to extract zinc(Zn(Ⅱ))and cadmium(Cd(Ⅱ))metal ions from water-based *** composite material produced was analyzed using techniques such as X-ray Diffraction(XRD),Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM),Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy(FTIR),and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET).The effects of contact duration,p h of the solution,and initial concentration of metal ions on the adsorption process of Zn(Ⅱ)and Cd(Ⅱ)onto both MX and CSMX composites were *** and prepared CSMX composite presented a high adsorption capacity for both studied heavy metals,which were 91.55 and 73.82 mg/g for Zn(Ⅱ)and Cd(Ⅱ)onto MX,106.84 and 93.07 mg/g for Cd(Ⅱ)and Zn(Ⅱ)onto CSMX composite,***,the maximum competitive adsorption capacities for Zn(Ⅱ)onto MX and CSMX composites are 77.29 and 93.47 mg/g,and for are Cd(Ⅱ)60.30 and 79.66 mg/g,***,the removal capacities for both single and competitive metal ions were superior to CSMX ***,the adsorption capacities after five successive regeneration sequences were only dropped by 13.2%for Zn(Ⅱ)and 17.4%for Cd(Ⅱ)onto the CSMX composite compared to the first *** results confirm that both metals could be efficiently terminated from wastewater,which makes the prepared CSMX composite a favorable candidate adsorbent in practical applications.

The outcome of this study is to improve and enhance the power quality of the hybrid DC/AC microgrid(MG).The photovoltaic(PV)system and the proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC)are used as renewable energy sources to deliver the optimum active power to the utility *** MG system based on the PV system,PEMFC and voltage source inverter is modelled ***,the maximum power point tracking(MPPT)-based grey wolf optimization(GWO)is used to increase the PV module efficiency and enhance ***,to improve the PEMFC performance,a digital proportional-integral controller is used to control the PEMFC *** proposed inverter is controlled using synchronous reference frame theory,called the direct-quadrature(dq)control ***,the performance of the proposed MG system is tested using MATLAB®for various weather and loading condi*** the simulation results,the proposed MG system can deliver and absorb an active power based on the PV and fuel cell *** a result,the hybrid DC/AC MG is enhanced in terms of stabilization of the DC-bus ***,the power quality of the MG is improved using GWO optimization based on ***,good results are achieved using GWO in terms of the total harmonic distortion of the output current of 2.3%and higher efficiency of 98.9%.

Investigation on the mechanical properties of sintered porous copper compacts

In line with recent attention on porous metals having low and medium porosities in the range of 20-50%, this paper studies the effect of porosity on the mechanical properties of sintered copper compacts. Experiments were designed to investigate the effect of porosity, applied stress and sliding velocity on the wear rate of copper compacts, leading to the finding that the effects of both porosity and applied stress of the wear test on the wear rate are approximately similar and higher than that of sliding velocity. The investigation concerning the effect of porosity on compressive strength indicated that the stress-strain curve of high-porosity compact exhibited identifiable ultimate strength points, though low-porosity compact showed distinct stages of elastic plastic behavior.

Dynamic thermal performance of multilayer hollow clay walls filled with insulation materials:Toward energy saving in hot climates

This study examines the benefits of incorporating passive techniques into multilayer hollow clay brick walls to improve their dynamic thermal *** finite element approach was used to solve the incompressible Navier-Stokes and energy equations to analyze the dynamic thermal response of walls exposed to real thermal excitations of the Marrakesh *** results show that increasing the emissivity from 0.1 to 0.9 significantly increases the total heat load over 24 ***,filling 100% of the cavities with insulation materials delayed the temperature peak by about 2.3 h and lowered the decrement factor by roughly 43%,with a value smaller than *** addition,it is demonstrated that the total thermal load is reduced by approximately 28% for improved wall configurations(100% insulation filling cavities)compared to traditional wall configurations(100% air filling cavities),which aids in improving building energy efficiency.
