The aim of the present study was to evaluate the performance of Napier cultivars in terms of forage yield, plant morphology and nutrient contents under two different agro-ecology and geo-topographic conditions. Three Napier cultivars being conserved by Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute (BLRI), namely-BLRI-Napier 1, (BN-1), BLRI-Napier 3 (BN-3) and Merkeron (BN-5) were selected to cultivate in severe drought prone areas (called Barind) and non-drought area at Savar (Modhupur terrace). Stem cuttings were planted in rows apart from 70 cm and 35cm spacing between plants. Data of 6 consecutive harvests from a period of approximately one year were collected and analyzed statistically by “R” software. The results showed that cultivar and location had a significant (P were significantly varied with locations. BN-3 yielded the highest biomass (33.32 t/ha/harvest) at non-drought location (42.98 t/ha/harvest). The highest plant height was obtained in BN-1 (171.2 cm) at non-drought location (174.6 cm). Number of tillers per hill ranged from 25.4 to 26.3 among cultivars (P > 0.05) and the highest tillers were found at non-drought location (28.1 no). The best LSR was estimated from BN-5 (0.86) at drought location (0.95). AIM： TO elucidate the age-distribution of anti-hepatitis A virus （HAY） seroprevalence across different socioeconomic status （SES） categories in Bangladesh which, despite scarce data, is generally deemed to have high endemicity. METHODS： Blood samples of 818 subjects from a stratified samp#e of schools and hospitals, comprising different age categories and SES were collected. They were assayed for total anti-HAV antibodies. Social and medical history data were obtained using a questionnaire. RESULTS： Overall anti-HAV seroprevalence was 69.6%, increasing with age from 1-5 years （40.4%） to 〉 30 years （98.4%）. Seroprevalence was lowest （49.8%） in the high SES group and highest （96.5%） in the rural lower-middle SES group. Among subjects aged 6-20 years, anti-HAV seroprevalence was lowest in urban private school children （43.0%）, followed by urban government school children （76.2%） and rural school children （96.5%）（P 〈 0.01）. Within the high SESgroup, anti-HAV seroprevalence was 32.3% in subjects 〈 10 years and 51.7% in those aged 11-20 years. Until now Bangladesh has been deemed to have high endemicity for HAV. CONCLUSION： The transition from high to intermediate HAV endemicity may be underway; high SES adolescents and adults remain particularly at risk of symptomatic illness. Preventive measures need consideration.

Objective:To determine the clinical implication of and intestinal carriage with methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA) and extended spectrumβ-lactamase(ESBL)-producing ***: A total of 180 stool specimens were screened for MRSA and ESBL-producing *** of ESBL- producing Enterobacteriacae was done by MicroScan Walk Away 96 system(Dade Behring Inc.,West Sacramento,CA 95691,USA ) and confirmation by double-disc synergy *** was identified by disc diffusion using 30μg cefoxitin disc and the ***:The rate of fecal MRSA carriage was 7.8% (14/180),35.7%(5 /14) were recovered from surgical *** patients(21,4%) had MRSA recovered from other body sites,and 2(14.2%) had in addition ESBL -producing Escherichia coli(***) and Klebsiella pneumoniae(***) ***(28.5%) patients with MRSA fical carriage died. Purpose-Ensemble methods have been widely used in the field of pattern recognition due to the difficulty offinding a single classifier that performs well on a wide variety of *** the effectiveness of thesetechniques,studies have shown that ensemble methods generate a large number of hypotheses and thatcontain redundant classifiers in most *** works proposed in the state of the art attempt to reduce allhypotheses without affecting ***/methodology/approach-In this work,the authors are proposing a pruning method that takes intoconsideration the correlation between classifiers/classes and each classifier with the rest of the *** authorshave used the random forest algorithm as trees-based ensemble classifiers and the pruning was made by atechnique inspired by the CFS(correlation feature selection)***-The proposed method CES(correlation-based Ensemble Selection)was evaluated onten datasets from the UCI machine learning repository,and the performances were compared to sixensemble pruning *** results showed that our proposed pruning method selects a smallensemble in a smaller amount of time while improving classification rates compared to the ***/value-CES is a new ordering-based method that uses the CFS *** selects,in a shorttime,a small sub-ensemble that outperforms results obtained from the whole forest and the other state-of-thearttechniques used in this study.

The tidal power has the potential to play a vital role in a sustainable energy *** main objective of this paper is to investigate the performance and fatigue life of tidal current turbine(TCT)using fluid structure interaction(FSI)*** performance of TCT was predicted using Ansys *** performance curve,pressure distribution on the blade,and velocity streamline were visualized for eight repetitive analyses at different tip speed *** hydrodynamic load calculated from CFD analysis was transferred to FEA model for investigation of the structural response of *** analysis was performed to examine the mode shapes and natural frequencies of *** fatigue analysis were performed and number of cycles and safety factor at different equivalent alternating stresses were *** results of the simulation confirm that the turbine has a maximum value of the coefficient of performance atλ=5,the turbine operating frequency is not close to its natural frequency,and it is safe under the applied fatigue loads with a high factor of safety.

Objective:To determine the risk factors for dehydration in elderly people in one of Elbehira Governorate’s ***:A descriptive correlational design was utilized in this *** study was conducted at Elnemaria village,Markaz Abo Elmatamir,Elbehira Governorate,*** were collected using 3 tools:a structured interviewing questionnaire,a dehydration knowledge questionnaire,and a dehydration risk appraisal ***:The study found that 29.5%of the par ticipants were aged between 65 and *** constituted 51%of the study par *** majority of the study participants regularly took anti-acids,anti-inflammatory drugs,and *** the elderlies comprising the respondents,40%had a low level of knowledge regarding *** than half of the study subjects were at moderate risk for ***:The study showed that half of the par ticipants had diabetes and a medium level of information about *** study also showed in general that the elderly in the village are exposed to a moderate dehydration rate,and there is also a strong relationship between taking different types of medication and the occurrence of dehydration.
