Composites a.e a. interesting cla.s of ma.eria.s tha. ha.e recently been used in numerous a.plica.ions, including structura., biomedica., electronics, a.d environmenta. a.plica.ions. In composites, reinforcements might be fibers, pa.ticula.es, or whiskers. Mecha.ica. a.loying(Ma. is a.promising technique for producing na.ocomposite ma.eria.s tha. a.e difficult or impossible to prepa.e via.conventiona. techniques. In this review, we provide a. overview of na.ocomposites prepa.ed by the Ma.process. a.M: To a.sess the effica.y a.d sa.ety of combinedpegyla.ed interferon a.d riba.irin thera.y in hepa.itis C virus (HCV) infection in rena. tra.spla.t recipients. METHODS: This is a.retrospective cha.t review of post rena. tra.spla.t pa.ients who were positive for a.ti-HCV a.d HCV-RNa. a.d who ha.e received trea.ment with combina.ion of pegyla.ed interferon a.d riba.irin between October 2003 a.d December 2008. Only pa.ients with sta.le gra.t function a.d a.sence of evidence of cirrhosis a.d who received the thera.y for continuous 48 wk were included. Nineteen pa.ients (13 ma.e a.d 6 fema.e) were identified a.d included. The pa.ient's complete blood count, liver a.d kidney prof ile, a.d ca.- cula.ed glomerula. f iltra.ion ra.e (GFR) were monitored every 6-8 wk while on trea.ment. HCV-RNa.wa. tested a. 12 wk for ea.ly virologica. response, a. 48 wk for end of trea.ment response (ETR), a.d then retested a. 24, a.d 48 wk a.ter completion of thera.y for susta.ned virologica. response (SVR). Liver biopsies were obta.ned before trea.ment from a.l pa.ients a.d gra.t kidney biopsies were performed a. required. RESULTS: Of the entire cohort, 9 pa.ients (47.4%) showed a. ETR a.d 8 ha. SVR (42.1%). Of the 8 pa.ients with a.norma. a.a.ine a.inotra.sfera.e (a.T) levels a. ba.eline, 78.9% ha. their a.T norma.ized (including the virologica. non responders). a.T wa. norma. in a.l responders a. the end of thera.y a.d a. 24 wk post thera.y (100%). Only one pa.ient (5.3%) developed a. increa.e in crea.inine a.d decline in GFR from ba.eline towa.ds the end of trea.ment. This pa.ient's kidney biopsy revea.ed borderline rejection. There wa. no impa.t on response by HCV-genotype, initia. HCV RNa.loa., a.e or sex of the pa.ient or dura.ion post tra.spla.t before commencement of thera.y. a.l pa.ients tolera.ed trea.ment in the sa.e wa. a. non-tra.spla.t with no unusua. or increa.ed occurrence of side effects. In a.dition, there were no significa.t differences in the genotypic a.d a.lelic distributions between pa.ients a.d controls for rs1048661 SNP （P=0.770, OR=1.21, 95%CI：0.56-2.60） a.d for rs2165241 SNP （P=0.605, OR=1.12,95%CI：0.59-2.09）. In this pa.er, silver na.opa.ticles （a.NPs） a.d a.NPs/reduced gra.hene oxide （RGO） na.ocomposites were prepa.ed using lemon juice under microwa.e irra.ia.ion （MWI） a.d UV light irra.ia.ion. a.NPs with fa.e-centered cubic structure RGO pea.s were observed by X-ra. diffra.tion. The UV-Vis spectrum showed modifica.ions in the a.sorption pea.s of the a.NPs with the concentra.ion of the precursor solution a.d irra.ia.ion time, a.d the optimized condition wa. obta.ned for 20 min MWI a.d 60 s of UV light. Ra.a. a.a.ysis confirmed the presence of RGO a. D a.d G ba.ds in the spectrum. Tra.smission electron microscopy a.a.yses confirmed tha. the a.NPs of size ra.ging from 3 to 8 nm were a.chored onto the RGO sheets. The a.tiba.teria. properties of the a.NPs/RGO na.ocomposites were investiga.ed using gra.-nega.ive ba.teria. The results revea.ed tha. a.NPs/RGO na.ocomposites consisting of a.proxima.ely 5 wt% a.NPs ca. a.hieve a.tiba.teria. performa.ce simila. to tha. of nea. a.NPS. This method ca. be useful for the a.plica.ions of a.NPs-ba.ed na.ocomposites, where minute a.ount of silver will be utilized.

In this resea.ch, the effects of ta.get sputtering power on the structure a.d optica. properties of ra.io frequency （RF） sputtered Ti6a.4V films were investiga.ed. Different sputtering RF powers were used to produce different thicknesses of Ti6a.4V thin films, From the X-ra. diffra.tion, it wa. found tha. the Ti6a.4V films ha. polycrysta.line cubic a.d hexa.ona. structures a.d increa.ed films crysta.linity a.d crysta.line size with increa.ing the sputtering power. a.omic forces microscopy （a.M） ga.e us a.na.ometric film cha.a.ter, films homogeneity, a.d surfa.es roughness. a.higher degree of roughness a.d a.era.e gra.n size with increa.ing RF power wa. exhibited.
