Nitrogen-rich heterocyclic energetic compounds（NRHECs） and their salts have witnessed widespread synthesis in recent years. The substantial energy-density content within these compounds can lead to potentially dangerous explosive reactions when subjected to external stimuli such as electrical ***, developing a reliable model for predicting their electrostatic discharge sensitivity（ESD） becomes imperative. This study proposes a novel and straightforward model based on the presence of specific groups（-NH2or-NH-,-N = N+-O-and -NNO2,-ONO2or-NO2） under certain conditions to assess the ESD of NRHECs and their salts, employing interpretable structural parameters. Utilizing a comprehensive dataset comprising 54 ESD measurements of NRHECs and their salts, divided into 49/5 training/test sets,the model achieves promising results. The Root Mean Square Error（RMSE）, Mean Absolute Error（MAE）,and Maximum Error for the training set are reported as 0.16 J, 0.12 J, and 0.5 J, respectively. Notably, the ratios RMSE（training）/RMSE（test）, MAE（training）/MAE（test）, and Max Error（training）/Max Error（test） are all greater than 1.0, indicating the robust predictive capabilities of the model. The presented model demonstrates its efficacy in providing a reliable assessment of ESD for the targeted NRHECs and their salts,without the need for intricate computer codes or expert involvement.

A new modified carbon paste electrode based on cyclam as a modifier was prepared for the determination of Co(Ⅱ) ions. The proposed electrode shows a Nernstian slope 28.4 mV per decade over a wide concentration range 5.0×10 -6_1.0×10 -1 mol/L of Co 2+ ions with detection limit 2.5×10 -6 mol/L. The sensor exhibits good selectivities for Co 2+ over a wide variety of other cations. It can be used as an indicator electrode in potentiometric titration of cobalt(Ⅱ) ions as well as in direct determination of cobalt(Ⅱ) ions in wastewater of acidic cobalt electroplating bath. The electrode shows Nernestian behavior in a solution of 25% ethanol.

A new method for prediction of Gurney velocity of explosives is introduced in which energy output is correlated with the heat of detonation, the number of moles of gaseous products of detonation per gram of explosive and the average molecular weight of gaseous products. It is assumed that the CHNO explosive reacts to form products composed of N2, CO, H2O, CO2, H2, O2 and C（s） as determined by the oxygen balance of the unreacted compound. Good agreement is obtained between measured and calculated values of Gurney velocity as compared to previous correlations which assumed the reaction products to consist of N2, H2O, CO2 and either C（s） or O2.

The oxidation of organic compounds by sulfonated porous carbon and H2O2 was studied at room temperature. Alkyl and aryl sulfides were oxidized to the corresponding sulfoxides or sulfones in excellent yields. Secondary alcohols were also converted to the corresponding esters/lactones and aldehydes to methyl esters in good yields. Moreover,aliphatic tertiary amines and substituted pyridines were oxidized to N-oxides.
