Background:Despite the availability of chemotherapy drugs such as 5-ﬂuorouracil(5-FU),the treatment of some cancers such as gastric cancer remains challenging due to drug resistance and side *** study aimed to investigate the effect of celastrol in combination with the chemotherapy drug 5-FU on proliferation and induction of apoptosis in human gastric cancer cell lines(AGS and EPG85-257).Materials and Methods:In this in vitro study,AGS and EPG85-257 cells were treated with different concentrations of celastrol,5-FU,and their *** proliferation was assessed using the 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide(MTT)*** synergistic effect of 5-FU and celastrol was studied using Compusyn *** DNA content at different phases of the cell cycle and apoptosis rate was measured usingﬂow ***:Co-treatment with low concentrations(10%inhibitory concentration(IC10))of celastrol and 5-FU signiﬁcantly reduced IC50(p<0.05)so that 48 h after treatment,IC50 was calculated at 3.77 and 6.9μM for celastrol,20.7 and 11.6μM for 5-FU,and 5.03 and 4.57μM for their combination for AGS and EPG85-257 cells,*** mean percentage of apoptosis for AGS cells treated with celastrol,5-FU,and their combination was obtained 23.9,41.2,and 61.9,and for EPG85-257 cells 5.65,46.9,and 55.7,*** addition,the 5-FU and celastrol-5-FU combination induced cell cycle arrest in the synthesis ***:Although celastrol could decrease the concentration of 5-ﬂuorouracil that sufﬁced to suppress gastric cancer cells,additional studies are required to arrive at conclusive evidence on the anticancer effects of celastrol.

Nowadays,having an effective technique in preparing semi-solid slurries for rheocasting process seems to be an essential *** this study,semi-solid slurry of A356 aluminum alloy was prepared by three-phase annular electromagnetic stirring(A-EMS)technique under different *** effects of stirring current,pouring temperature and stirring time on microstructural evolution,mean particle size,shape factor and solid fraction were *** rheocasting process was carried out by using a drop weight setup and to inject the prepared semi-solid slurry in optimal conditions into the step-die *** filling behavior and mechanical properties of parts were *** evolution showed that the best semi-solid slurry which had fine spherical particles with the average size of~27μm and a shape factor of~0.8 was achieved at the stirring current of 70 A,melt pouring temperature of 670℃,and stirring time of 30 *** these conditions,the step-die cavity was completely filled at die preheating temperature of 470℃.The hardness increases by decreasing step thickness as well as die preheating ***,the tensile properties are improved at lower die preheating *** fracture surface,which consists of a complex topography,indicates a typical ductile fracture.

In this paper, the effect of van der Waals （vdW） force on the pull-in behavior of electrostatically actuated nano/micromirrors is investigated. First, the minimum po- tential energy principle is utilized to find the equation gov- erning the static behavior of nano/micromirror under electro- static and vdW forces. Then, the stability of static equilib- rium points is analyzed using the energy method. It is found that when there exist two equilibrium points, the smaller one is stable and the larger one is unstable. The effects of dif- ferent design parameters on the mirror＇s pull-in angle and pull-in voltage are studied and it is found that vdW force can considerably reduce the stability limit of the mirror. At the end, the nonlinear equilibrium equation is solved numer- ically and analytically using homotopy perturbation method （HPM）. It is observed that a sixth order perturbation approx- imation can precisely model the mirror＇s behavior. The re- suits of this paper can be used for stable operation design and safe fabrication of torsional nano/micro actuators.

A modified DBSCAN algorithm is presented for deinterleaving of radar pulses in modern EW environments.A main characteristic of the proposed method is that using only time of arrival of pulses,the method can sort the pulses *** PDW information such as rise time,carrier frequency,pulse width,modulation on pulse,fall time and direction of arrival are not *** identify the valid PRIs in a set of interleaved pulses,an innovative modification of the DBSCAN algorithm is introduced which is accurate and easy to *** proposed method determines valid PRIs more accurately and neglects the spurious ones more efficiently as compared to the classical histogram based algorithms such as ***,without specifying any input parameter,the proposed method can deinterleave radar pulses while up to 30%jitter is present in the associated *** accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method are verified by computer simulations and real data *** simulations are based on different real and operational scenarios where the presence of missing and spurious pulses are also ***,the simulation results can be of practical significance.

Removal of Sb（V） from copper electrolyte by different sorbents such as activated carbon, bentonite, kaolin, resin, zeolite and white sand was investigated. Adsorption capacity of Sb（V） removal from copper electrolyte was as follows： white sand 〈 anionic resin 〈 zeolite 〈 kaolin 〈 activated carbon 〈 bentonite. Bentonite was characterized using FTIR, XRF, XRD, SEM and BET methods. The results show specific surface area of 95 m2/g and particles size of 175 nm for bentonite. The optimum conditions for the maximum removal of Sb are contact time 10 min, 4 g bentonite and temperature of 40 ° C. The adsorption of Sb（V） on bentonite is followed by pseudo-second-order kinetic （R2=0.996 and k=9×10？5 g/（mg· min））. Thermodynamic results reveal that the adsorption of Sb（V） onto bentonite from copper electrolyte is endothermic and spontaneous process （ΔGΘ=？4806 kJ/（mol· K）. The adsorption data fit both the Freundlich and Langmuir isotherm models. Bentonite has the maximum adsorption capacity of 10000 mg/g for adsorption of Sb（V） in copper electrolyte. The adsorption of Zn, Co, Cu and Bi that present in the copper electrolyte is very low and insignificant.

The coal horizons of the Middle Jurassic Hojedk Formation of East-Central Iran are fossiliferous, bearing numerous well-preserved fossil plants, comparable to the Shemshak Group/Formation in the Alborz Mountains in Northern Iran. Here we present two recently discovered fossil taxa from the Middle Jurassic Hojedk Formation of the Tabas Block(Central Iran). Based on their distinct morphologies, impression/compression specimens can be assigned to Phlebopteris dunkeri(Schenk) Schenk(Palaeontographica 23: 157–163, 1875) and P. woodwardii Leckenby(Quarterly Journal of the Geological Society 20(1–2): 74–82, 1864), belonging to Matoniaceae. This is the first record of these two taxa in Iran. Taxa belonging to Equisetaceae, Marattiaceae, Dipteridaceae, Schizaeaceae, Dicksoniaceae,Caytoniales, Bennettitales, Cycadales and Podozamitaceae were observed as accompanying taxa in the studied section. Ecology comparison of the Hojedk Formation plant fossils with the extant relatives of the fossil plant taxa occurring in these deposits indicates accumulation of the host strata under a moist warm(tropical to subtropical)climate during the Middle Jurassic.

Jajarm＇s bauxite deposits are mainly diasporic, and they have a low mass ratio of Al2O3/SiO2. It is necessary to increase the run-of-mine mass ratio before feeding the material to the Bayer process. Chemical analysis indicated that the low-grade bauxite sample from Jajarm contained 43.9wt% Al2O3 and 13.35wt% SiO2, resulting in a mass ratio of 3.29. According to mineralogical studies, the presence of aluminosilicate minerals such as kaolinite, illite, and quartz was the main reason for the decrease of the mass ratio. Microscopic observations revealed that, with the size reduction from -1000＋710 to -38 μm, the liberation degree of diaspore increased from 10% to 60%, and that of aluminosilicates increased from 20% to 85%. Heavy liquids with the densities of 2.8, 3.0, 3.2, and 3.4 g/cm3 were used to evaluate the heavy media separation in three sizes, i.e., -3350＋710, -710＋212, and -212＋125 μm. Laboratory studies confirm that the density of 3.2 g/cm3 can produce the concentrates （in sunk fractions） with recoveries of 89.09%, 91.24%, and 84.68% with the Al2O3/SiO2 mass ratios of 5.03, 5.16, and 5.15 for the -3350＋710, -710＋212, and -212＋ 125 μ m sizes, respectively.

Soil and water conservation practices have been extensively used in effective watershed *** impact of each conservation practice is site specific and dependent on the implementation site in the *** order to select cost effective placement of conservation practices with high impact,a large number of spatial combinations is needed to be *** this study,an optimization model framework is presented to find cost effective solutions for sediment yield and runoff control in the Fariman dam watershed in the Northeast of *** was accomplished by integrating soil and water assessment tool(SWAT)for simulation of watershed hydrology and multi objective genetic algorithm(NSGA-II)for spatial optimization of soil and water conservation *** optimized solutions provided a trade-off between the two objective *** final Pareto-optimal shows that the impact of soil and water conservation practices on sediment yield is more than stream *** trade-offs between the objective functions show that the implementation of the median cost can lead to a significant decrease of 22.1%in the amount of sediment yield,and 10%in stream ***,percent change achieved through median cost is very close to percent reduction with the highest *** of low cost solution show that the vegetative practices are a suitable economic scenario for soil and water *** introduced framework can be adapted as a suitable tool for selecting cost effective conservation practices in different regions.

The effects of operating parameters on oxidative coupling of methane （OCM） over Na-W-Mn/SiO2 catalyst have been studied at elevated pressures of 0.2, 0.3 and 0.4 MPa under low gaseous hourly space velocity （GHSV） and low temperature conditions. Experimental results show that when the operating pressure is increased, C2＋ yield slightly decreases, while the maximum ratio of ethylene to ethane remains unchanged. Moreover, it has been found empirically that increase of pressure does not affect the catalyst behavior permanently, the catalyst recovers its original low pressure performance without hysteresis behavior by reducing the pressure. Under the investigated conditions, when oxygen is completely consumed, the increase of GHSV leads to improvement in C2 selectivity, while C3＋ and COx selectivities decrease slightly. The C2＋ selectivity increases by increase of nitrogen diluent in the feed, but the C3＋ hydrocarbons selectivities decrease with increase of nitrogen since it is possible that further dilution at high pressure may reduce the probability of collision between CH3 and C2＋ hydrocarbons. During the stability test at high pressure, the catalyst performance remains unchanged throughout the 20 h running. The fresh and used catalysts were characterized using XRD, SEM and N2 adsorption-desorption methods. It was found that the phase transformation of the support from α-cristobalite to tridymite and quartz does not have obvious effect on catalyst performance at high pressure.
