A systematic investigation was carried out to observe the deposition rate of a diamond-like carbon(DLC) coating on two stainless steel substrates by chemical vapor deposition(CVD). The objective of this research is to study the deposition behavior of the DLC coating and its tribological properties in different combinations of methane(CH_4) and nitrogen, which were used as precursor gases. The results reveal that the deposition rate increases with increasing CH_4 content up to 50 vol%. The hardness of the DLC-deposited layer also increases while the friction coefficient decreases with increasing CH_4 gas content up to 50% in the precursor gas mixture.

The main objective of this paper is to discuss a general family of distributions generated from the symmetrical arcsine *** considered family includes various asymmetrical and symmetrical probability distributions as special cases.A particular case of a symmetrical probability distribution from this family is the Arcsine–Gaussian *** statistical properties of this distribution including quantile,mean residual life,order statistics and moments are *** Arcsine–Gaussian parameters are estimated using two classical estimation methods called moments and maximum likelihood methods.A simulation study which provides asymptotic distribution of all considered point estimators,90%and 95%asymptotic confidence intervals are performed to examine the estimation efficiency of the considered methods *** simulation results show that both biases and variances of the estimators tend to zero as the sample size increases,i.e.,the estimators are asymptotically ***,when the sample size increases the coverage probabilities of the confidence intervals increase to the nominal levels,while the corresponding length decrease and approach *** real data sets from the medicine filed are used to illustrate the flexibility of the Arcsine–Gaussian distribution as compared with the normal,logistic,and Cauchy *** proposed distribution is very versatile to fit real applications and can be used as a good alternative to the traditional gaussian distribution.

Antioxidant compounds and minerals in tomatoes by Trichodermaenriched biofertilizer and their relationship with the soil environments

The experiment was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of Trichoderma-enriched biofertilizer（BioF/compost）on antioxidants and minerals in ripe tomatoes and soil health improvements in terms of nutrient availability and microbial *** study was comprised of six treatments：control（zero input）;recommended doses of NPK（135.5,45.6 and 22.9 kg ha^-1,respectively）;100%BioF/compost;75%BioF/compost＋25%N;50%BioF/compost＋50%N;and 25%BioF/compost＋75%*** recommended doses of P and K were used in the last three *** was found that the application of 100%BioF/compost enhanced plant growth,leaf greenness,and produced 12.9%higher yield compared to the recommended doses of NPK and other *** contents（P,K,Ca,Mg,Cu,Fe,Mn and Zn）in tomato roots,shoots and fruits and antioxidant compounds,i.e.,ascorbic acid,β-carotine,and lycopene were increased significantly in fruits fertilized with100%BioF/*** high efficiency of Trichoderma compost might be the result of its potential of nutrient solubilization and harboring soil ***,BioF/compost increased soil fertility and favored growth of microbes in the rhizosphere which ultimately contributed to higher yield,antioxidant,and mineral concentrations in ***,Trichoderma-enriched biofertilizer may reduce application of chemical fertilizers and therefore,can be considered as a noble practice in sustainable agriculture.

Allelopathic effects of Eucalyptus camaldulensis Dehnh. were confirmed in Petri dish and pot experiments in our previous studies. However, the degree to which such effects under controlled experiments exist in more complex ecological settings remains to be tested. Thus, the present study was carried out by incorporating different proportions of ground litter of E. camaldulensis in soil. The growth of three agricultural crops: falen(Vigna unguiculata(L.) Walp.), chickpea(Cicer arietinum L.), and arhor(Cajanus cajan(L.) Millsp.), and two tree species, kala koroi(Albizia procera(Roxb.) Benth.) and ipil ipil(Leucaena leucocephala(Lam.) de Wit) were tested. There were inhibitory effects of leaf litter on germination, shoot and root growth, leaf number, and collar diameter as well as a reduction of nodulation by legume crops(25–80%reduction). The extent of the effects was dependent on the proportion of leaf litter, the species and the type of traits. In contrast to shoot growth, the effect on root growth was more severe. No effect on germination was found with the agriculture crops while the two tree species showed reduced germination. The effect was greater in the presence of higher proportions of leaf litter mixed in soil while in some cases lower proportions stimulated growth. Not all species were suppressed; A. procera, C. cajan, V. unguiculata showed compatible growth while C. arietinum and *** were found incompatible. This study provides evidence that E. camaldulensis has allelopathic potential under field conditions and a careful selection of associated crops in agroforestry systems is highly recommended.

In Bangladesh, there are thousands of textile-dying industries spread across the country’s many regions, the majority of which involve knitting and dying. The dyeing industry uses an enormous quantity of water, as well as colors and chemicals. After the dying process has been completed, they also release a significant amount of wastewater. Cotton, wool, and polyester fiber are typically dyed with textile dyes such as reactive, acid, and disperse dyes. These dyes are utilized most frequently in the respective sectors. The dyes’ colorants are extremely poisonous and dangerous to all forms of life, including aquatic life and living things. The present work has been intended to investigate whether or not it is practicable to remove commonly used textile dyes simultaneously from an aqueous dye solution using an adsorption technique that makes use of a variety of different adsorbents. This study focuses on the removal of color from two distinct types of dyes—Methylene Blue and Reactive Blue-250 which are cationic and anionic in nature respectively, using two different types of activated carbon adsorbents prepared from sawdust and fish scale. Dye removal capacity was tested as a function of contact time, the dosage of the adsorbent, pH during the treatment process, temperature and initial concentration of dye. The applicability of the Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherms in describing experimental data was investigated. The micro and mesoporous activated carbon prepared from sawdust and fish scale identified by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) images indicated that such adsorbents with a large surface area have more dye adsorption potential whereas the variation in dye adsorption occurs due to variation in surface area. From the overall experimental data, maximum removal of 95.39% and 87.92% was found for Methylene Blue and Reactive Blue-250 respectively by sawdust, and 90.64% removal of Methylene Blue by using fish scale.

Objective： Laser-induced Coulomb explosion of gold nanoparticles for breast cancer has been studied by nanophotolysis technique. This study aimed to investigate whether laser-induced bubble formation due to Coulomb explosion can provide an effective approach for selective damage of breast cancer with gold nanoparticles. Method： Numerical method involves laser-induced Coulomb explosion of gold nanoparticles. Different parameters related to nanophotolysis such as laser fluence, tumor depth, cluster radius, laser pulse duration, and bubble formation is studied numerically. Numerical simulation was performed using Mat lab. Results： The gold nanopartieles of 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 nm in radius could penetrate into tumor 1.14, 1.155, 1.189, 1.20 and 1.22 cm in depth respectively. The maximum penetration depth in tumor could be obtained with nanoparticles of 50 nm radius. Short laser pulse of 40 ns with nanoparticles of 10 nm radius could penetrate into tumor 1.14 cm in depth. Bubbles with a radius of 9 pm could effectively kill breast cancer cells without damaging healthy ones. The bubble radius increased from 4 to 9 lam with an increase in pulse duration in the range of 10 to 30 ns. Conclusions： Gold nanoparticles with increasing radius and bubble formation for selective damage of breast cancer cells are successfully probed. The present calculated results are compared with other experimental findings, and good correlation is found between the present work and previous experimental values. It was demonstrated that bubble formation in tumor may further increase the efficacy of breast cancer treatment.

Background: The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic is a distinct public health issue that calls for the quick development of novel treatments and viral detection. Due to their high specificity and reliability, monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) have emerged as useful diagnostic and therapeutic tools for a variety of diseases. As a result, several scientists have jumped right into developing Ab-based assays for the identification of SARS-CoV-2 and Ab drugs for use as COVID-19 therapy agents. Since the receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein is essential for viral infection and has a known precise structure, it has become a key target for the creation of therapeutic antibodies. The use of Ab cocktails is anticipated to be a key component of an efficient COVID-19 treatment plan since SARS-CoV-2 is an RNA virus with a high mutation rate, particularly when subjected to the selection pressure of aggressively applied preventive vaccinations and neutralizing Abs. Furthermore, SARS-CoV-2 infection could provoke an overzealous immune response, leading to a cytokine storm that accelerates the onset of a severe disease. Abs to counteract cytokine storms are also actively being researched as COVID-19 therapies. Abs are now used in SARS-CoV-2 detection assays, including immunoglobulin and antigen tests, in addition to their use as medicines. In order to stop the spread of COVID-19, such Ab-based detection tests are essential surveillance tools. In this article, we’ll go over several important ideas related to mAb-based COVID-19 pandemic detection tests and treatments. Thermal-aware routing protocols in WBANs consider temperature factors in the routing process for preventing overheating of the tissues surrounding the sensor ***,providing an energy-efficient and thermal-aware routing in WBANs is a challenging *** deal with this problem,this article presents a novel temperature-aware routing protocol that applies Mamdani-based Fuzzy Logic Controllers(FLCs)for selecting the next forwarding node in routing data *** FLCs apply five important input factors such as the priority of the packet,and sensor node's remaining energy,temperature,distance,and link path ***,a new hybrid version of the Marine Predator Algorithm(MPA),named MPAOA is presented by combining the exploration and exploitation phases of the MPA and Arithmetic Optimization Algorithm(AOA).This algorithm is effectively applied for selecting the best possible set of fuzzy rules for FLCs and tuning their fuzzy *** experiments conducted in the Castalia simulator exhibit that the proposed temperature and priority-aware routing scheme can outperform other well-known routing schemes such as LATOR,TTRP,TAEO,ATAR,and EOCC-TARA in terms of metrics such as sensor nodes lifetime,the average temperature of the sensor nodes,and the percentage of the packets routed through non-overheated ***,it is shown that the MPAOA outperforms other algorithms such as Bat Algorithm(BA),Genetic Algorithm(GA),AOA,and MPA regarding the specified metrics.

Interaction between beta-lactum antibiotic drug ciprofloxacin hydrochloride(CFH)and cationic surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB)was performed conductometrically in aqueous as well as in the occurrence of different salts(NaCl,KCl as well as NH_4Cl)over the temperature range of 298.15–323.15 K at the regular interval of 5 *** drug has been suggested for the treatment of bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections and acute sinusitis.A clear critical micelle concentration(CMC)was obtained for pure CTAB as well as(CFH+CTAB)mixed *** decrease in CMC values of CTAB caused by the addition of CFH reveals the existence of the interaction between the components and therefore it is the indication of micelle formation at lower concentration of CTAB and their CMC values further decrease in attendance of salts.A nonlinear behavior in the CMC versus T plot was observed in all the *** ΔG_m^0 values are found to be negative in present study systems demonstrated the stability of the *** values of ΔH_m^0 and ΔS_m^0 reveal the existence of hydrophobic and electrostatic interactions between CFH and *** thermodynamic properties of transfer for the micellization were also evaluated and discussed in *** dynamic simulation disclosed that environment of water and salts have impact on the hydrophobic interaction between CFH and *** water and salts,CTAB adopts spherical micelle in which charged hydrophilic groups are interacted with waters whereas hydrophobic tails form the core of the *** hydrophobic core region is highly conserved and *** addition,micelle formation is more favorable in aqueous Na Cl solution than other solutions.
