Optimized pa.allel architecture of evolutionary neural network for mass spectrometry data processing

Evolutionary neural network(ENN)shows high performance in function optimization and in finding approximately global optima from searching large and complex *** is one of the most efficient and adaptive optimization techniques used widely to provide candidate solutions that lead to the fitness of the *** has the extraordinary ability to search the global and learning the approximate optimal solution regardless of the gradient information of the error ***,ENN requires high computation and processing which requires pa.allel processing platforms such as field programmable gate arrays(FPGAs)and graphic processing units(GPUs)to achieve a good *** work involves different new implementations of ENN by exploring and adopting different techniques and opportunities for pa.allel *** versions of ENN algorithm have also been implemented and pa.allelized on FPGAs platform for low latency by exploiting the pa.allelism and pipelining *** data form mass spectrometry data(MSD)application was tested to examine and verify our *** is a very important and extensive computation application which needs to search and find the optimal features(peaks)in MSD in order to distinguish cancer patients from control *** algorithm is also implemented and pa.allelized on single core and GPU platforms for comparison *** computation time of our optimized algorithm on FPGA and GPU has been improved by a factor of 6.75 and 6,respectively.

Steganography is a technique for hiding secret messages while sending and receiving communications through a cover *** ancient times to the present,the security of secret or vital information has always been a significant *** development of secure communication methods that keep recipient-only data transmissions secret has always been an area of ***,several approaches,including steganography,have been developed by researchers over time to enable safe data *** this review,we have discussed image steganography based on Discrete Cosine Transform(DCT)algorithm,*** have also discussed image steganography based on multiple hashing algorithms like the Rivest–Shamir–Adleman(RSA)method,the Blowfish technique,and the hash-least significant bit(LSB)*** this review,a novel method of hiding information in images has been developed with minimal variance in image bits,making our method secure and effective.A cryptography mechanism was also used in this *** encoding the data and embedding it into a carry image,this review verifies that it has been ***,embedded text in photos conveys crucial signals about the *** review employs hash table encryption on the message before hiding it within the picture to provide a more secure method of data *** the message is ever intercepted by a third party,there are several ways to stop this operation.A second level of security process implementation involves encrypting and decrypting steganography images using different hashing algorithms.

In terms of battery design and evaluation,Electric Vehicles(EVs)are receiving a great deal of attention as a modern,eco-friendly,sustainable transportation *** this paper,a novel battery pack is designed to maintain a uniform temperature distribution,allowing the battery to operate within its optimal temperature *** proposed battery design is part of a main channel where a portion of cool air will pass from an inlet then exit from an outlet where a uniform temperature distribution is ***,a 3-D model of a battery cell was created,followed by thermal simulation for 15C,25C,and 35C ambient *** simulation results reveal that the temperature distribution is nearly uniform,with slightly higher values in the middle portion of the cell ***,using finite element a.alysis(FEA),it was determined that the heat flux per unit area is nearly uniform with a slight increase at the ***,a machine learning model is proposed by utilizing a neural network(NN).Lastly,the heat flux values were predicted using the NN model that was *** model was assessed based on statistical measures where a root mean square error(RMSE)value of 0.87%was *** NN outperformed FEA in terms of time consumption with a high prediction accuracy,leveraging the potential of adopting machine learning over FEA in related operational assessments.

Combined impacts of bioaugmentation and vermiremediation on crude oil-contaminated soil: Mitigating strategies for prospective environmental management

This study aimed to address the remediation of crude oil-contaminated soil by employing four different factorial setups:I-used the earthworms(Eudrilus eugeniae)for vermiremediation,II–utilized the bacteria(Pseudomonas aeruginosa FA-7)for bioaugmentation,III–combined earthworms+bacteria to perform vermiremediation+bioaugmentation,and IV–served as abiotic ***,garden soil weighing 1 kg and 50 g of desiccated cow dung were introduced into the experimental groups and abiotic ***,different quantities of crude oil ranging from 5 to 20 mL were *** on the results,from 5 mL of oil-contaminated soil,the factorial setup-III removed the maximum proportion of total petroleum hydrocarbons(TPH)in V+B1(58.06%).The abiotic control treatments AC1(1.11%)exhibited the lowest TPH removal *** bioremediated soil had significantly(Pal properties than the initial crude oil contaminated *** instance,earthworm and microbial action resulted in considerable reductions in pH(4.72%),total organic carbon(44.03%),total nitrogen(42.42%),total phosphorus(52.17%),and total potassium(22.64%)by the end of the *** the 60th day of factorial setup-III,the bacterial population(386.470±0.432 CFU×10^(6) g^(−1)),actinomycetes(188.043±0.246 CFU×10^(8) g^(−1)),and fungi(16.603±0.202 CFU×10^(5) g^(−1))were *** germination rates of Trigonella foenum-graecum seeds were increased by 86.6%in factorial setup III(V+B1)when compared to other factorial ***,the incorporation of vermiremediation and bioaugmentation provides a distinctive platform for effective oil-contaminated soil remediation.

RoGRUT: A Hybrid Deep Learning Model for Detecting Power Trapping in Smart Grids

Electricity theft is a widespread non-technical issue that has a negative impact on both power grids and electricity *** hinders the economic growth of utility companies,poses electrical risks,and impacts the high energy costs borne by *** development of smart grids is crucial for the identification of power theft since these systems create enormous amounts of data,including information on client consumption,which may be used to identify electricity theft using machine learning and deep learning ***,there also exist different solutions such as hardware-based solutions to detect electricity theft that may require human resources and expensive ***-based solutions are presented in the literature to identify electricity theft but due to the dimensionality curse,class imbalance issue and improper hyper-parameter tuning of such models lead to poor *** this research,a hybrid deep learning model abbreviated as RoGRUT is proposed to detect electricity theft as a.alicious and non-malicious *** key steps of the RoGRUT are data preprocessing that covers the problem of class imbalance,feature extraction and final theft *** advanced-level models like RoBERTa is used to address the curse of dimensionality issue,the near miss for class imbalance,and transfer learning for *** effectiveness of the RoGRUTis evaluated using the dataset fromactual smartmeters.A significant number of simulations demonstrate that,when compared to its competitors,the RoGRUT achieves the best classification *** performance evaluation of the proposed model revealed exemplary results across *** accuracy achieved was 88%,with precision at an impressive 86%and recall reaching 84%.The F1-Score,a measure of overall performance,stood at 85%.Furthermore,themodel exhibited a noteworthyMatthew correlation coefficient of 78%and excelled with an area under the curve of 91%.

The aim of this research is to demonstrate a novel scheme for approximating the Riemann-Liouville fractional integral *** would be achieved by first establishing a fractional-order version of the 2-point Trapezoidal rule and then by proposing another fractional-order version of the(n+1)-composite Trapezoidal *** particular,the so-called divided-difference formula is typically employed to derive the 2-point Trapezoidal rule,which has accordingly been used to derive a more accurate fractional-order formula called the(n+1)-composite Trapezoidal ***,in order to increase the accuracy of the proposed approximations by reducing the true errors,we incorporate the so-called Romberg integration,which is an extrapolation formula of the Trapezoidal rule for integration,into our proposed *** numerical examples are provided and compared with a modern definition of the Riemann-Liouville fractional integral operator to illustrate the efficacy of our scheme.

Improving the Segmentation of Arabic Handwriting Using Ligature Detection Technique

Recognizing handwritten characters remains a critical and formidable challenge within the realm of computervision. although considerable strides have been made in enhancing English handwritten character recognitionthrough various techniques, deciphering Arabic handwritten characters is particularly intricate. This complexityarises from the diverse array of writing styles among individuals, coupled with the various shapes that a singlecharacter can take when positioned differently within document images, rendering the task more perplexing. Inthis study, a novel segmentation method for Arabic handwritten scripts is suggested. This work aims to locatethe local minima of the vertical and diagonal word image densities to precisely identify the segmentation pointsbetween the cursive letters. The proposed method starts with pre-processing the word image without affectingits main features, then calculates the directions pixel density of the word image by scanning it vertically and fromangles 30° to 90° to count the pixel density fromall directions and address the problem of overlapping letters, whichis a commonly attitude in writing Arabic texts by many people. Local minima and thresholds are also determinedto identify the ideal segmentation area. The proposed technique is tested on samples obtained fromtwo datasets: Aself-curated image dataset and the IFN/ENIT dataset. The results demonstrate that the proposed method achievesa significant improvement in the proportions of cursive segmentation of 92.96% on our dataset, as well as 89.37%on the IFN/ENIT dataset.
