The homogeneous electrocatalytic oxidation of hydrazine（HZ） has been studied by indigocarmine（IND） as a mediator at the surface of TiO_2 nanoparticles modified carbon paste electrode（TNMCPE）.Cyclic voltammetry was used to study the electrochemical behavior of IND at different scan *** voltammetric response of the modified electrode was linear against the concentration of HZ in the ranges of 3.0×l0^（-8）-7.0×10~6 mol/L with differential pulse voltammetry *** detection limit（3σ） was determined as 27.3 nmol/*** evaluate the applicability of the proposed method to real samples,the modified CPE was applied to the determination of HZ in water samples.

The electrochemical behavior of vitamin C（ascorbic acid or AA） is investigated on the surface of a carbon-paste electrode modified with TiO2 nanoparticles and 2,2＇-（1,2 butanediylbis（nitriloethylidyne））-bis-hydroquinone（BBNBH）.The prepared modified electrode showed an efficient catalytic role in the electrochemical oxidation of AA,leading to remarkable decrease in oxidation overpotential and enhancement of the kinetics of the electrode *** modified electrode exhibits well-separated oxidation peaks for AA and uric acid（UA）.The modified electrode is successfully applied for the accurate determination of AA in pharmaceutical preparations.

A carbon paste electrode modified with 2‐((7‐(2,5-dihydrobenzylideneamino)heptylimino)methyl) benzene‐1,4‐diol(DHB) and carbon nanotubes were used to simultaneously determine the concen-trations of isoproterenol(IP), uric acid(UA), and folic acid(FA) in solution. First, cyclic voltammetry was used to investigate the redox properties of the modified electrode at various scan rates. Next, the mediated oxidation of IP at the modified electrode is described. At the optimum pH of 7.0, the oxidation of IP occurs at a potential about 90 mV less than that of an unmodified carbon paste elec-trode. Based on the results of differential pulse voltammetry(DPV), the oxidation of IP showed a dynamic range between 10 and 6000 μmol/L, and a detection limit of 1.24 μmol/L. Finally, DPV was used to simultaneously determine the concentrations of IP, UA, and FA in solution at the modified electrode.

在金纳米粒子(AuNPs)上经苯硫酚衍生物(3,4二羟基苯基-偶氮-苯硫酚,DAT)自组装制得了一种新型纳米复合物,用于修饰玻璃碳电极(GCE/AuNP-DAT).采用循环伏安法研究了该新型电极的性质,并将其用作异丙肾上腺素(IP)电催化剂,考察了该纳米复合物的电催化活性,从而得到反应机理和催化反应速率常数.由于GCE/Au NP-DAT电极对尿酸氧化没有电催化活性,因此可将IP的氧化信号从该改进电极中分离出来,从而排除了尿酸对IP测定的干扰.该电极可作为传感器,当用于差动脉冲伏安法测定IP时,线性动态范围为1.0–1500.0μmol/L,检测极限为0.46μmol/L.

A chemically modified carbon paste electrode (CPE), consisting of 2,2'-[ (1E)- (1,2- phenylenebis (azanylylidene)] bis (methanylylidene)]bis (benzene-1,4-diol) (PBD) and multiwalled carbon nano-tubes (CNTs), was used to study the electrocatalytic oxidation of dopamine using cyclic voltamme-try, chronoamperometry, and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). First, the electrochemical be-havior of the modified electrode was investigated in buffer solution. Then the diffusion coefficient, electrocatalytic rate constant, and electron-transfer coefficient for dopamine oxidation at the sur-face of the PBD-modified CNT paste electrode were determined using electrochemical approaches. It was found that under optimum conditions (pH = 7.0), the oxidation of dopamine at the surface of such an electrode occurred at about 200 mV, lower than that of an unmodified CPE. DPV of dopa-mine at the modified electrode exhibited two linear dynamic ranges, with a detection limit of 1.0 μmol/L. Finally, DPV was used successfully for the simultaneous determination of dopamine, uric acid, and folic acid at the modified electrode, and detection limits of 1.0, 1.2, and 2.7 μmol/L were obtained for dopamine, uric acid, and folic acid, respectively. This method was also used for the determination of dopamine in a pharmaceutical preparation using the standard addition method.

A kinetic-potentiometric method for simultaneous determination of Cerium(IV) and dichoromate (Cr2O72-) by H-point standard addition method (HPSAM), partial least squares (PLS) and principal component regression (PCR) using fluoride ion-selective electrode (FISE) is described. In this work, the difference between the rate of the oxidation reaction of Fe(II) to Fe(III) in the presence of Ce4+ and Cr2O72- is based of the method. The rate of consume fluoride ion for making complex is detected with a FISE. The results show that simultaneous determination of Ce4+ and Cr2O72- can be done in their concentration ranges of 1.0-30.0 and 0.1-20.0 μg/mL, respectively. The total relative standard error for applying the PLS and PCR methods on 8 synthetic samples was 2.97 and 3.19, respectively in the concentration ranges of 1.0-30.0 μg/mL of Ce4+ and 0.1-20.0 μg/mL of Cr2O72-. In order for the selectivity of the method to be assessed, we evaluated the effects of certain foreign ions upon the reaction rate and assessed the selectivity of the method. The proposed methods (HPSAM, PLS and PCR) were evaluated using a set of synthetic sample mixtures and then applied for simultaneous determination of Ce4+ and Cr2O72- in different water samples.

Spectrophotometric determination of acidity constants of 4-(2′-thiazolylazo)-resorcinol (TAR) in water-organic mixtures

The acidity constants of TAR in different water-organic solvent binary mixtures at 25℃have been determined spectrophotometrically. DATa ANalysis（DATAN） program was used for calculations of the acidity constants and pure spectra of all formed species and their concentration distribution diagram in applied pH *** show that there are a fairly inverse relationship between acidity constants and the mole fraction of the organic solvent in the binary *** of solvent composition on the pK;s and pure spectrum of each component are also discussed.
