In this context, a novel structure was proposed for improving harmony search （HS） algorithm to solve the unit comment （UC） problem. The HS algorithm obtained optimal solution for defined objective function by improvising, updating and checking operators. In the proposed improved self-adaptive HS （SGHS） algorithm, two important control parameters were adjusted to reach better solution from the simple HS algorithm. The objective function of this study consisted of operation, start-up and shut-down costs. To confirm the effectiveness, the SGHS algorithm was tested on systems with 10, 20, 40 and 60 generating units, and the obtained results were compared with those of the simple HS algorithm and other related works.

multiple variables can influence triage decision in multiple trauma. Recognition of priorities and selection of the destination can be successfully achieved by field triage and individualized clinical judgment. This narrative review summarizes the new options and protocols for transport of injured subjects. There are four levels of emergency medical providers including first responders and three levels of emergency medical technicians. Two distinct accepted protocols for transport are known as scoop and run and treat and then transfer. The former provides mini- mum lifesaving treatment at the scene of accident followed by transferring the patient（s） as soon as possible, and thelatter mainly emphasizes the need for complete stabilization as a prerequisite for safe transport. The destination and mode of transport are selected according to clinical capa- bilities of the receiving hospital, transfer time from the scene to the facility, patient＇s medical condition, accessibility of the scene, and weather. Two common methods of transfer are ground transport, including various type of ambulances, and air medical transport, i.e. helicopter and airplane.

In this article,numerical simulations are performed to investigate the performance of the thermal diffusion column for the separation of n-heptane/benzene *** present work tried to optimize column by analyzing significant parameters such as feed flow rate,temperature and *** order to obtain the hydrodynamic and temperature and mass distribution inside thermal diffusion column,computational fluid dynamic(CFD) method is applied to solve the Navier-Stocks *** simulations are conducted to study the main parameters in both stationary and time-dependent *** using the separation work unit as a function of cut,the optimal cut for maximum SWU occurs within a limited range of 0.47-0.5 for feed rate between 0.5 and 4 g min^-*** findings reveal that the optimum feed rate in the range of optimum cut is about 1 g min^-*** transient study,results show that the best cut for reaching to steady-state condition is θ=0.5.

Validation of EST-derived STS markers localized on ***-3BS for Fusarium head blight resistance in wheat using a‘Wangshuibai’derived population

A few EST-derived STS markers localized on ***-3BS, a major QTL for resistance to Fusarium head blight （FHB） in wheat, have been previously identified in the ＇Sumai 3＇/＇Stoa＇ population. In this study, we used a ＇Wangshuibai＇（resistant）/＇Seri82＇（susceptible） derived population, linkage group, QTL, and quantitative gene expression analysis to assess the genetic background dependence and stability of the EST-derived STS markers for use in marker aided selection to improve FHB resistance in wheat. Based on our results, a QTL in the map interval of Xsts3B-138_1-Xgwrn493 on chromosome 3BS was detected for FHB resistance, which accounted for up to 16% of the phenotypic variation. BLASTN analysis indicated that Xsts3B-138_1 sequence had significant similarity with the resistance gene analogue. Real-time quantitative PCR showed that the relative expression of Xsts3B-138_1 in ＇Wangshuibai＇ at 96 h after inoculation was 2.6 times higher than ＇Seri82＇. Our results underlined that EST-derived STS3B-138 markers could be predominantly used in marker aided selection to improve FHB resistance in wheat.

Objective:Covid-19 is a highly contagious viral infection that has recently become a *** the beginning of the pandemic,the disease has affected millions of people and taken many people's *** purpose of this paper is to predict and compare the number of cases and mortality rate due to Covid-19 every quarter in 2020 and 2021 in three countries:Iran,the United States,and South *** and methods:The data of this study include the mortality rate of different countries of the world due to Covid-19,which has been approved by the World Health Organization(WHO).In this paper,to develop the mathematical model for mortality rate prediction,the data of the countries of Iran,the United States,and South Korea during the last two years from march 1,2020,to march 1,2022,have been *** addition,the mortality trend was modeled using the mATLAB software toolbox version *** modeling,six methods including Fourier,Interpolant,Gaussian,Polynomial,Sum of Sine,and Smoothing Spline were *** mean square error(RmSE)and final prediction error were used to evaluate the performance of these proposed ***:As a result of the analysis,it was shown that the Smoothing Spline model with the lowest error rate was capable of accurately evaluating and predicting Covid-19 incidence and mortality *** RmSE,a prediction of the Covid-19 mortality rate for three countries is 3.76498×10^(-5).The values of R-Square and Adj R-sq were 1 in all the experiments,which indicates the full compliance of the prediction ***:Using the proposed method,the incidence rate and mortality rate can be properly assessed and compared with each other in three *** provides a better view of the progression of the coronavirus outbreak in spring,summer,autumn,and *** using the proposed method,governments will be able to prevent disease and alert people to follow health guidelines more closely,thereby reducing infection numbers and mortalit

Shiga toxin B-subunit （STxB） from Shigella dysenteriae targets in vivo antigen to cancer cells, dendritic cells （DC） and B cells, which preferentially express the globotriaosylceramide （Gb3） receptor. This pivotal role has encouraged scientists to investigate fusing STxB with other clinical antigens. Due to the challenges of obtaining a functional soluble form of the recombinant STxB, such as formation of inclusion bodies during protein expression, scientists tend to combine STxB with vaccine candidates rather than using their genetically fused forms. In this work, we fused HPV16 E7 as a vaccine candidate to the recombinantly-produced STxB. To minimize the formation of inclusion bodies, we investigated a number of conditions during the expression procedure. Then various strategies were used in order to obtain high yield of soluble recombinant protein from E. coli which included the use of different host strains, reduction of cultivation temperature, as well as using different concentrations of IPTG and different additives （Glycin, Triton X-100, ZnC12）. Our study demonstrated the importance of optimizing incubation parameters for recombinant protein expression in E. coli; also showed that the secretion production can be achieved over the course of a few hours when using additives such as glycine and Triton X-100. Interestingly, it was shown that when the culture mediums were supplemented by additives, there was an inverse ratio between time of induction （TOI） and the level of secreted protein at lower temperatures. This study determines the optimal conditions for high yield soluble E7-STxB expression and subsequently facilitates reaching a functionally soluble form of STxB-based vaccines, which can be considered as a potent vaccine candidate for cervical cancer.

In this work,we describe a new strategy for the electrochemical determination of captopril（CA） using ferrocenemonocarboxylic acid as a mediator and multiwall carbon nanotubes as sensors in aqueous solution at pH *** diffusion coefficient（D）,and the kinetic parameters such as electron transfer coefficient（α）.and heterogeneous rate constant（kh）,for CA were also determined using electrochemical *** the optimized conditions,the electrocatalytic oxidation peak current of captopril showed two linear dynamic ranges with a detection limit of 0.3×10^-6 mol L^-1 *** linear calibration range was 0.8×10^（-6） to 65×10^-6 mol L^-1 using cyclic ***,this modified electrode was also examined as a selective,simple and precise new electrochemical sensor for the determination of captopril in real samples such as drug and patient human urine.

In this article, a formulation for a hollow cylinder reinforced with an electroelastic layer is investigated. The hollow cylinder and its electro-elastic coating are under the Saint-Venant torsional loading. First, the solution to the problem containing a Volterra-type screw dislocation is obtained by using the Fourier transform. The problem is then reduced to a set of Cauchy singular integral equations by the distributed dislocation method. Finally, several examples are presented to show the effect of the electro-elastic coating on the reduction of the stress intensity factors at the crack tips.
