In recent years,statistics have indicated that the number of patients with malignant brain tumors has increased ***,most surgeons still perform surgical training using the traditional autopsy and prosthesis model,which encounters many problems,such as insufficient corpse resources,low efficiency,and high *** the advent of the 5G era,a wide range of Industrial Internet of Things(IIOT)applications have been *** Reality(VR)and Augmented Reality(AR)technologies that emerged with 5G are developing rapidly for intelligent medical *** address the challenges encountered during neurosurgery training,and combining with cloud computing,in this paper,a highly immersive AR-based brain tumor neurosurgery remote collaborative virtual surgery training system is developed,in which a VR simulator is *** system enables real-time remote surgery training interaction through 5G *** experts and 18 novices were invited to participate in the experiment to verify the ***,the two simulators were evaluated using face and construction validation *** results obtained by training the novices 50 times were further analyzed using the Learning Curve-Cumulative Sum(LC-CUSUM)evaluation method to validate the effectiveness of the two *** results of the face and content validation demonstrated that the AR simulator in the system was superior to the VR simulator in terms of vision and scene authenticity,and had a better effect on the improvement of surgical ***,the surgical training scheme proposed in this paper is effective,and the remote collaborative training effect of the system is ideal.

At this current time,data stream classification plays a key role in big data analytics due to its enormous *** of the existing classification methods used ensemble learning,which is trustworthy but these methods are not effective to face the issues of learning from imbalanced big data,it also supposes that all data are *** weakness of current methods is that it takes a long evaluation time when the target data stream contains a high number of *** main objective of this research is to develop a new method for incremental learning based on the proposed ant lion fuzzy-generative adversarial network *** proposed model is implemented in spark *** each data stream,the class output is computed at slave nodes by training a generative adversarial network with the back propagation error based on fuzzy bound *** method overcomes the limitations of existing methods as it can classify data streams that are slightly or completely unlabeled data and providing high scalability and *** results show that the proposed model outperforms stateof-the-art performance in terms of accuracy(0.861)precision(0.9328)and minimal MSE(0.0416).

Preliminary study of binary protein adsorption system and potential bioseparation under homogeneous field of shear in airlift biocontactor

This paper investigates the bioseparation of binary protein mixtures using polystyrene based anion exchange resin. Adsorption experiments were conducted in batch mode using draft-tube internally recirculate dair lift biocontactor in comparison with the conventional shake flask batch adsorption equilibrium experiments. Binary protein mixtures contained bovine serum albumin (BSA) and bovine haemoglobin (BHb) at different initial fractions. Results from single solute adsorption experiments in biocontactor showed that both proteins were equally adsorbed onto the resin with equilibrium reached in an equal time period. This represents similar affinities towards the negatively charged resin surface, although BSA was expected to adsorb through specific forces. Adsorption results showed that BSA has hindered the BHb adsorption in the biocontactor, although adsorption of both proteins was equally hindered in the shake flasks adsorption experiments. Moreover, adsorption of BHb was inhibited up to 29% in the presence of BSA compared to the adsorption of BHb from a solution containing single solute of BHb at the same initial concentration. Similarly, the presence of BHb has hindered the adsorption of BSA by 59%. Adsorptions of both BSA and BHb from binary solution when each formed 75% initial fraction while the other protein formed the remaining 25% were relatively low with equilibrium reached in shorter time. Moreover, considerable amount of proteins remained in the solution, which demonstrates that multilayer adsorption most likely didn’t occur at the relatively small protein concentrations used in the present study. In general, the higher adsorption of BHb can also be related to the compressibility of its molecules which allowed for higher adsorption capacity. The homogeneous and lower shear environment in the airlift biocontactor compared to the other conventional batch adsorption in shake flask reduced the compressibility of BHb that caused higher BSA adsorption from binary

In this paper,we propose a multiple-input-multipleoutput,orthogonal frequency division multiplexing,code-division multiple-access （MIMO OFDM-CDMA） *** main objective is to provide extra flexibility in user multiplexing,and offer better diversity/multi-user-multiplexing *** is done by spreading on all the signal domains;i.e,space-timefrequency spreading is employed to transmit users’ *** study and simulation results show that MIMO OFDM-CDMA is capable of flexible data rates and easy user multiplexing,while simultaneously suppressing the multi-user interfering *** addition,our scheme achieve a diversity gain significantly larger than that of the conventional 2-D CDMA OFDM scheme.

Greener approach to the comprehensive utilization of algal biomass and oil using novel Clostridial fusants and bio-based solvents

A greener method has been tested to utilize algal biomass as a feedstock to produce bio-oil in addition to acetone,butanol,and ethanol(ABE)*** hydrolysis treatments were used prior to fermentation including combination of thermal,chemical,and enzymatic,which resulted in maximum sugar release of 27.78 g/***-based terpenes was used instead of common toxic chemicals together with Clostridial fustants to produce bio-alcoholic *** fusion technique were used to produce the novel Clostridia fusants(***+*** and ***+***).Fused strains were then subjected to UV radiation for strain *** fusansts showed clear improvement in thermal stability and resistance to biobutanol *** experiments showed maximum biobutanol final production of 7.98 g/L using CbCt versus 7.39 g/L using *** extraction from virgin algae was tested using a green,bio-based approach using ter-penes with ultrasonication and green Bligh and Dyer method,*** preliminary study on algal biomass,the combinations of ultrasonication followed by the green Bligh and Dyer have resulted in oil yield of 46.27%(d-limonene)and 39.85%(p-cymene).Oil extraction from an algae sample following fermentation using the combined extraction method resulted in significantly higher oil yield of 65.04%.

Association between Liver Enzymes and Dyslipidemia in Yemeni Patients with Type Two Diabetes Mellitus

The correlation between liver enzymes and lipid profile in T2D patients in the Yemeni population has been evaluated. This is a case-control study comprising 142 T2D patients and 142 healthy control subjects were carried out at the outpatient clinics of Ibn-Sina hospital, Mukalla, during the period from January to May 2020. Serum fasting blood glucose (FBG), total cholesterol, triglyceride, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), and gamma-glutamyltransferase (GGT) were analyzed using the Cobas Integra Plus 400 autoanalyzer. Also, anthropometric and blood pressure measurements were taken from each participant. Independent sample T-test and Pearson correlation coefficient were used. T2D patients had significantly higher FBG (P ≤ 0.0001), total cholesterol (P ≤ 0.0001), LDL-C (P ≤ 0.0001), and GGT (P ≤ 0.0001) while HDL-C was significantly lower in T2D patients (P = 0.021). In correlation analysis, serum GGT was positively associated with FBG (r = 0.216;P ≤ 0.0001), total cholesterol (r = 0.196;P = 0.0001), triglyceride (r = 0.123;P = 0.038), and LDL-C (r = 0.209;P ≤ 0.0001). Also, serum ALT was positively associated with FBG (r = 0.145, P = 0.014) and triglyceride (r = 0.172, P = 0.004). In conclusion, higher levels of ALT and GGT are used as the predictive biomarkers for NAFLD in T2D patients with hyperlipidemia. Thus, routine screening of liver enzymes and lipid profile in T2D patients is recommended for the early detection of liver abnormalities and diminish diabetes complications.

Evaluation of the Three Glucometer Devices Performance in Comparison with the Cobas Integra 400 Plus Autoanalyzer in Measuring Blood Glucose Levels: A Comparative Cross-Sectional Study

Objective: The study aimed to evaluate the performance of the three glucometers compared to standard the laboratory method (Cobas Integra 400 Plus) in measuring blood glucose levels. Patients and Methods: A total of 100 Yemeni diabetic patients were randomly recruited into a comparative cross-sectional study. Venous and finger-pricked blood samples were obtained from all participants and used for blood glucose levels measurement following the standard procedures. Results: The mean blood glucose levels for one-hundred diabetic patients using the Gluco Contour TS and Gluco SD Codefree were not significantly different compared with the Cobas Integra 400 Plus (12.14 ± 6.89 mmol/L vs. 12.85 ± 8.83 mmol/L, P = 0.159;12.50 ± 7.18 mmol/L vs. 12.85 ± 8.83 mmol/L, P = 0.490), respectively. However, there is a significant difference using the Gluco Alert device from that of the Cobas Integra 400 Plus (11.83 ± 6.94 mmol/L vs. 12.85 ± 8.83 mmol/L, P = 0.046). Furthermore, using the ROC curve at a 95% confidence interval, the Cobas Integra 400 Plus showed a significant agreement with the Gluco Contour TS (51.4%), Gluco SD Codefree (50.4%), and Gluco Alert (39.3%), respectively. For determining accuracy, the sensitivity of the glucometer devices was the following: Gluco SD Codefree (87.3%), Contour TS (85.9%), and Gluco Alert (78.9%). In this regard, the highest specificity was related to Gluco Contour TS (65.5%). Conclusion: The correlation between both methods was good, with high sensitivity and specificity in measuring blood glucose levels as indicated by the ROC curve. Thus, we suggest using these glucometers at homes and hospitals as a point of care for diabetic patients.

Preeclampsia remains a major obstetrical problem, affecting 3-5% of pregnancies and can be up to 18% in some African countries. Epidemiological studies based on the immune theory showed the relationship between exposition to sperm and preeclampsia. Repeated exposition to seminal liquid would therefore be a protection against preeclampsia, as observed in women having frequent unprotected sex, or having had a previous normal pregnancy with the same partner. Other publications showed an increased risk of preeclampsia in patients who received sperm during an intrauterine insemination (IUI) or during an in vitro fertilization (IVF). We report a case of reoccurrence of severe preeclampsia in a mixed afro-caucasian couple having had a child delivered normally at term in the past. The couple later went for a sperm donation as a result of a chemotherapeutic treatment for Hodgkin Lymphoma which the man suffered from. The fact that the sperm was gotten from the same donor did not stop the reoccurrence. The first pregnancy gotten from sperm donation ended up into a medical termination of pregnancy (MTP) at 23 weeks 2 days of amenorrhea, and the second pregnancy issued from the same donor ended into a cesarean delivery at 28 weeks of a child with intrauterine growth retardation (IUGR).
