Grid-connected rooftop solar photovoltaic(PV)systems can reduce the energy demand from the grid and significantly increase the power available to ***,rooftop solar PV has not yet been widely adopted in many sub-Saharan African countries,such as Sudan,although they are endowed with high solar radiation and in dire need of additional *** paper investigates risks and policies to increase grid-connected rooftop solar PV adoption in Sudan.A simplified United Nations Development Program Derisking Renewable Energy Investment framework is adopted to investigate this over three *** Stage 1,a list of risks and barriers was produced based on a literature review of solar PV studies in Sudan and interviews with nine *** was the risk most often mentioned(eight times from nine interviewees),followed by concerns about poor utility grid *** Stage 2,policy de-risking instruments and financial de-risking instruments were listed to overcome the *** include the intro-duction of net metering,the use of a third-party organization to monitor policy implementation,upgrade of the grid infrastructure,public awareness campaigns and energy-saving *** Stage 3,the levelized cost of electricity was estimated for a typical 2-kW rooftop PV system without policies(0.11$/kWh)and with a net-metering policy(0.07$/kWh).

We propose a relaxation rate or dissipative cavity-based parameters that can be used as indicators of the stationary limit of a mixed state geometric phase. We perform our considerations for the system of a superconducting qubit in an open transmission line or interacting with a dissipative cavity. This system is very useful for performing an effective quantum computation by exhibiting the long collapse time of the geometric phase. It is shown that the geometric phase in the stationary limit does not depend on interaction time if the decay time exceeds an upper bound.

Humic acid(HA)can adsorb onto mineral surfaces,modifying the physicochemical properties of the ***,understanding the sorption behavior of HA onto mineral surfaces is of particular interest,since the fate and transport of many organic and inorganic contaminants are highly correlated to HA adsorbed onto clay *** to the extreme heterogeneity of HA,the extracted IHSS Leonardite humic acid(LHA)used in this work was fractionated using an ultrafiltration technique(UF)into different molecular size fractions(Fr1,>0.2μm;Fr2,0.2 pm-300,000 daltons;Fr3,300,000-50,000 daltons;Fr4,50,000-10,000 daltons;Fr5,10,000-1000 daltons).Equilibrium and the kinetics of LHA and fraction adsorption onto kaolinite and montmorillonite were *** results demonstrated that the maximum adsorption capacity of LHA,Frl,Fr2,Fr3,Fr4,and Fr5 was 5.99,13.69,10.29,7.02,5.9&and 5.09 on kaolinite while it was 8.29,22.62,13.17,8.91,8.62,and 5.69 on montmorillonite,*** adsorption equilibrium data showed that the adsorption behavior of LHA and its fractions could be described more practically by the Langmuir model than the Freundlich *** rate of humic acid fraction adsorption onto clays increased with decreasing molecular size fraction and increasing carboxylic group ***-first-and second-order models were used to assess the kinetic data and the rate *** results explained that LHA and its fractions adsorption on clay minerals conformed more to pseudosecondo rder.

In this paper, we have presented the numerical investigation of the geometric phase and field entropy squeezing for a two-level system interacting with coherent field under decoherence effect during the time evolution. The effects of the initial state setting and atomic dissipation damping parameter on the evolution of the geometric phase and entropy squeezing have been examined. We have reported some new results related to the periodicity and regularity of geometric phase and entropy squeezing.

This study examines the large amount of agricultural waste produced in Egypt between 2010 and 2019 by analysing data from various departments within the Agriculture *** also provides a comprehensive database on the biomass available from agricultural waste in Egypt and its potential applications for producing power,heat and chemical *** biomass-pyrolysis systems powered by solar energy are used,research demonstrates the potential to convert agricultural waste into a variety of chemical *** approach utilizes solar energy,a clean and renewable source,and has wide-ranging industrial and power generation *** Egypt’s reliance on agriculture,the country currently utilizes little biomass for energy production and has not previously used it as a source for creating chemical products,which could potentially save on the imported oil used in these *** findings of the study are graphically presented using histograms,pie charts,*** overall production of residues reached the 30-Mt level in *** it contains the most rice-cultivated land,Dakahlia(Lower Egypt region)produces the highest percentage of the total residue(37.17%).Qena governorate(Upper Egypt region)produces 1.14 metric tons of residues,with sugarcane accounting for 20.3%of the total.

3-Bromopyruvate(3BP) is a new, promising anticancer alkylating agent with several notable functions. In addition to inhibiting key glycolysis enzymes including hexokinase II and lactate dehydrogenase(LDH), 3BP also selectively inhibits mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation, angiogenesis, and energy production in cancer cells. Moreover, 3BP induces hydrogen peroxide generation in cancer cells(oxidative stress effect) and competes with the LDH substrates pyruvate and lactate. There is only one published human clinical study showing that 3BP was effective in treating fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma. LDH is a good measure for tumor evaluation and predicts the outcome of treatment better than the presence of a residual tumor mass. According to the Warburg effect, LDH is responsible for lactate synthesis, which facilitates cancer cell survival, progression, aggressiveness, metastasis, and angiogenesis. Lactate produced through LDH activity fuels aerobic cell populations inside tumors via metabolic symbiosis. In melanoma, the most deadly skin cancer, 3BP induced necrotic cell death in sensitive cells, whereas high glutathione(GSH) content made other melanoma cells resistant to 3BP. Concurrent use of a GSH depletor with 3BP killed resistant melanoma cells. Survival of melanoma patients was inversely associated with high serum LDH levels, which was reported to be highly predictive of melanoma treatment in randomized clinical trials. Here, we report a 28-year-old man presented with stage IV metastatic melanoma affecting the back, left pleura, and lung. The disease caused total destruction of the left lung and a high serum LDH level(4,283 U/L). After ethics committee approval and written patient consent, the patient received 3BP intravenous infusions(1-2.2 mg/kg), but the anticancer effect was minimal as indicated by a high serum LDH level. Objective:To evaluate the combination therapy of pyronaridine tetraphosphate and diminazene aceturate against Babesia in vitro and in ***:Bioinformatic analysis was performed using atom pair *** in vitro combination test was performed against Babesia bovis and Theileria ***,the in vivo chemotherapeutic efficacy of pyronaridine tetraphosphate in combination with diminazene aceturate was investigated against the growth of Babesia microti in mice using a fluorescence inhibitory ***:Pyronaridine tetraphosphate and diminazene aceturate exhibited nearly similar molecular *** in vitro combination of pyronaridine tetraphosphate and diminazene aceturate was synergistic on Babesia bovis and additive on Theileria *** addition,5 mg/kg pyronaridine tetraphosphate combined with 10 mg/kg diminazene aceturate inhibited Babesia microti growth significantly compared with those observed after treatment with 25 mg/kg diminazene aceturate alone from day 6 post treatment to day 12 post *** combination therapy also normalized the hematological parameters of infected ***:An oral dose of pyronaridine tetraphosphate combined with a subcutaneous dose of diminazene aceturate inhibits Babesia in vitro and in mice,suggesting it might be a new paradigm for the treatment of babesiosis.
