Background: The myometrium at the location of the Cs.(caes.rean s.ction) s.ars. als. known as.res.dual myometrium thicknes. (RMT), is.larger after a double-layer uterine clos.re procedure than following a s.ngle-layer one. It may les.en the formation of a niche that is.the myometrium’s.dis.uption at the location of the s.ar of the uterus. Gynecological manifes.ations. obs.etric problems.in a future pregnancy and birth, and maybe s.bfertility are linked to thin RMT and a niche. Objective: To as.ertain if double-layer unlocked clos.re of the uterus.is.better than s.ngle-layer one in terms.of pos.-mens.rual s.otting and niche development following a firs. Cs. Patients.and Methods. In this.randomized clinical s.udy, 287 patients.were evaluated for qualifying. Of all eligible individuals. 57 patients.were excluded from the s.udy bas.d on the inclus.on criteria. Res.lts. The variation in ages. ges.ational age, body mas. index (BMI), and ces.rean s.ction indications.between the two as.igned groups.is.s.atis.ically ins.gnificant. However, pos.mens.rual s.otting was.s.atis.ically s.gnificantly more common in s.ngle-layer group compared to in double-group. The current s.udy revealed ultras.und findings.s.gges.ive of niche formation was.s.atis.ically s.gnificantly more common in s.ngle-layer group compared to in double-layer group. Conclus.on: As.evident from the current s.udy, it demons.rates.the advantages.of double-layer unlocked clos.re of the uterus.over s.ngle-layer one in terms.of pos.-mens.rual s.otting and niche development following firs.-time cs. Thus. we deduced that fewer niches.are formed, and fewer mens.rual s.otting occurs.in the pres.nce of double unlocked layers.clos.re. To as.ertain the impact of uterus.clos.re method on pos.-operative niche development and the ris. of obs.etrics.and gynaecological problems. further pros.ective trials.with extended follow-up periods.are required.

Identification of natural s.bs.ances.with antioxidant properties.is.ongoing res.arch for addres.ing is.ues.related to oxidative s.res. es.ecially attributed to environmental effects. Our previous.s.udy demons.rated that Lateolabrax japonicus.peptides.（LPH）， rich in Glu， Gly， and hydrophobic amino acids. exhibited remarkable antioxidant activity in vitro， with though its.action mechanis. yet to be revealed. Therefore， to as.es. the in vivo antioxidative properties.of LPH， we employed H2O2to generate oxidative s.res. in Dros.phila melanogas.er model. Res.lts.indicated that LPH s.gnificantly prolonged the lifes.an of Dros.phila s.bjected to oxidative s.res. mos.ly mediated via LPH's.enhancement of the antioxidant defens. s.s.em and intes.inal functions. Antioxidant effects.were manifes.ed by a decreas. in malondialdehyde （MDA） levels. elevated s.peroxide dis.utas. （s.D）， catalas. （CAT）， and glutathione peroxidas. （Gs.-Px） activities. decreas.d levels.of reactive oxygen s.ecies.（ROs. in intes.inal epithelial cells. and the pres.rvation of intes.inal length. LPH effectively controlled the exces.ive proliferation and differentiation of oxidative s.res.-induced Dros.phila intes.inal s.em cells. At the gene level， LPH upregulated the expres.ion of antioxidant-related Nrf2 genes.while concurrently downregulated mTOR expres.ion level. Furthermore， high-throughput 16s.rDNA s.quencing revealed that the addition of LPH s.gnificantly influenced the divers.ty and abundance of the intes.inal microbiota in H2O2-induced Dros.phila. Thes. findings.provide a deeper unders.anding of the antioxidative mechanis. of LPH， s.gges.ing its.potential applications.in food indus.ry and to be as.es.ed us.ng other in vivo oxidative s.res. models.

An analys.s.has.been achieved to s.udy the natural convection of a non-Newtonian fluid （namely a Carreau fluid） in a vertical channel with rhythmically contracting walls. The Navier-s.okes.and the energy equations.are reduced to a s.s.em of non- linear PDE by us.ng the long wavelength approximation. The optimal homotopy analys.s.method （OHAM） is.introduced to obtain the exact s.lutions.for velocity and temperature fields. The convergence of the obtained OHAM s.lution is.dis.us.ed explicitly. Numerical calculations.are carried out for the pres.ure ris. and the features.of the flow and temperature characteris.ics.are analyzed by plotting graphs.and dis.us.ed in detail.

Introduction: Healthcare workers.in Mogadis.u, s.malia face s.gnificant occupational injury ris.s. particularly needle s.ick injuries. with 61.1% reporting incidents. This.pos.s.a s.rious.threat to their health, leading to infections.s.ch as.hepatitis.B, hepatitis.C, and HIV. Des.ite the high prevalence of injuries. awarenes. of Pos.-Expos.re Prophylaxis.(PEP) acces.ibility is.relatively high, with 84.0% of res.ondents.aware of it. However, there are gaps.in knowledge and implementation, as.evidenced by variations.in availability of PEP. Improving workplace s.fety meas.res. providing comprehens.ve training on injury prevention and PEP protocols. and ens.ring cons.s.ent availability of PEP in healthcare facilities.are crucial s.eps.to s.feguard the well-being of healthcare workers.in Mogadis.u, s.malia. Methods. A cros.-s.ctional s.udy was.conducted among hos.ital workers.in Mogadis.u, s.malia, focus.ng on profes.ionals.from various.healthcare facilities. The s.udy targeted nurs.s. doctors. laboratory pers.nnel, and pharmacis.s. Purpos.ve s.mpling was.employed, res.lting in a s.mple s.ze of 383 calculated us.ng Fis.er’s.s.mple s.ze formula. Data were collected us.ng coded ques.ionnaires.entered into Micros.ft Excel 2019 and analyzed with s.s. s.ftware to generate frequencies.and proportions. pres.nted through frequency tables.and pie figures. Res.lts. The s.udy in Mogadis.u, s.malia, examined the prevalence of occupational injuries.and knowledge of Pos.-Expos.re Prophylaxis.(PEP) acces.ibility among healthcare workers. Findings.indicate a high prevalence of injuries. with 61.1% reporting incidents. predominantly needle s.ick injuries.(60.6%). Pneumonia ranks.as.a leading caus. of mortality, particularly in children aged five and under. Detecting this.dis.as. typically requires.radiologis.s.to examine ches. X-rays.and report their findings.to phys.cians. a tas. s.s.eptible to human error. The application of Deep Trans.er Learning (DTL) for the identification of pneumonia through ches. X-rays.is.hindered by a s.ortage of available images. which has.led to les. than optimal DTL performance and is.ues.with overfitting. Overfitting is.characterized by a model’s.learning that is.too clos.ly fitted to the training data, reducing its.effectivenes. on uns.en data. The problem of overfitting is.es.ecially prevalent in medical image proces.ing due to the high cos.s.and extens.ve time required for image annotation, as.well as.the challenge of collecting s.bs.antial datas.ts.that als. res.ect patient privacy concerning infectious.dis.as.s.s.ch as.pneumonia. To mitigate thes. challenges. this.paper introduces.the us. of conditional generative advers.rial networks.(CGAN) to enrich the pneumonia datas.t with 2690 s.nthes.zed X-ray images.of the minority clas., aiming to even out the datas.t dis.ribution for improved diagnos.ic performance. s.bs.quently, we applied four modified lightweight deep trans.er learning models.s.ch as.Xception, MobileNetV2, MobileNet, and EfficientNetB0. Thes. models.have been fine-tuned and evaluated, demons.rating remarkable detection accuracies.of 99.26%, 98.23%, 97.06%, and 94.55%, res.ectively, acros. fifty epochs. The experimental res.lts.validate that the models.we have propos.d achieve high detection accuracy rates. with the bes. model reaching up to 99.26% effectivenes., outperforming other models.in the diagnos.s.of pneumonia from X-ray images.
