An engine rubber mounting is one of the important parts of a vehicle. It is a function to isolate or absorb and to reduce vibration to the vehicle body thus to the passenger itself. Due to the engine compartments environment such as heat and massive vibration due to road conditions, the engine rubber mountings lifespan has been reduced. thus several studies have been conducted to upgrade the material lifespan to make it more reliable and better engine mounting components. this paper presents the conceptual design of kenaf fiber polymer as automotive engine rubber mounting composites using the integration of theory of Inventive Problem Solving(tRIZ). In this early stage, the solution is generated using 40 inventive principles and tRIZ contradiction method. the solution parameter for the specific design character is the selected using the morphological chart to develop a systematic conceptual design for the component. Four(4) innovative design concepts were produced and Analytic Network Process(ANP)methods were utilized to perform the multi-criteria decision-making process of selecting the best concept design for the polymer composite engine rubber mounting component.

the application of natural fibers as reinforcement in composite material has increased due to environmental concerns,low cost,degradability and health concerns.the purpose of this study is to identify the best type of bamboo fibers to be used as reinforcement for kenaf(K)/bamboo hybrid composite.there were three types of bamboo fibers evaluated in this study which include bamboo mat(B),bamboo fabric(BF)and bamboo powder(BP).Chemical composition of B,BF,BP and K fibers were analyzed in this study.the effect of different types of bamboo fibers on tensile,impact,and morphological properties were investigated.the B/epoxy composites displayed the highest tensile strength(53.03 MPa)while K/epoxy composite had the highest tensile modulus(4.71 GPa).Scanning electron micrographs of B/epoxy composites displayed better fiber/matrix interfacial bonding in comparison to other studied composites.Results showed that impact strength of BF-based composite was highest(45.70 J/m).In conclusion,the tensile strength of B/epoxy composite is superior to the other bamboo reinforced composites and will be further evaluated in the next study.

the paper presents the investigation of the effect of alkaline treatment of sodium hydroxide(NaOh) on physical and dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA) viscoelastic properties of kenaf fibre filled natural rubber(NR)/thermoplastic polyurethane(tPU) composites.the treated kenaf fiber,NR and tPU were weighed and proportioned according to the required compositions and were blended using hot mixed Brabender machine.the polymer composites were then fabricated using the hot press to form a sample board.the sample was cut and prepared and water absorption,density,thickness swelling and DMA tests were performed.As far as physical properties are concerned,composites with the highest NR amount of shows the best results,which indicates good fiber bonding adhesion.the polymer composites with the highest amount of tPU shows the highest damping properties at high temperature.

Cotton is one of the most important fiber crops that plays a vital role in the textile industry.Its production has been unstable over the years due to climate change induced biotic stresses such as insects,diseases,and weeds,as well as abiotic stresses including drought,salinity,heat,and cold.traditional breeding methods have been used to breed climate resilient cotton,but it requires a considerable amount of time to enhance crop tolerance to insect pests and changing climatic conditions.A promising strategy for improving tolerance against these stresses is genetic engineering.this review article discusses the role of genetic engineering in cotton improvement.the essential concepts and techniques include genome editing via clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats(CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated protein 9(CRISPR-Cas9),overexpression of target genes,downregulation using RNA interference(RNAi),and virus-induced gene silencing(VIGS).Notably,the Agrobacterium-mediated transformation has made significant contributions to using these techniques for obtaining stable transgenic plants.

Population growth,waste generation,and massive waste mismanagement have led to environmental catastrophe.Management of municipal solid waste(MSW)requires an efficient and sustainable integrated system.the integrated thermal processing of MSW is one of the best waste management techniques.In this study,energy analysis of MSW is carried out based on the material and energy balance of 2000 kg wet MSW,which contains 50%leachate.Once the leachate is removed,the dry MSW is sent for carbon content enhancement in carbonization to produce MSW-based char.thereafter,the combustion of MSW-based char provided high heat and syngas to be used in a hydrothermal process for MSW leachate treatment.the result shows that the char fuel of MSW produces a sufficient amount of energy,13501.29 MJ(84.55%),in the form of synthetic gas by-product,which has a big potential as an energy source.the novelty of the proposed integrated thermal system is to produce 84.55%synthetic gas by-product,which is used for electricity production,cooking,food,and heat energy for industrial purposes.the proposed applications of this paper offer insightful information for policymaking regarding novel MSW techniques,which are economical,energy-efficient,and environmentally friendly.thus,it increases the effectiveness of MSW utilization.

Nowadays,the cloud environment faces numerous issues like synchronizing information before the switch over the data migration.the requirement for a centralized internet of things(Iot)-based system has been restricted to some extent.Due to low scalability on security considerations,the cloud seems uninteresting.Since healthcare networks demand computer operations on large amounts of data,the sensitivity of device latency evolved among health networks is a challenging issue.In comparison to cloud domains,the new paradigms of fog computing give fresh alternatives by bringing resources closer to users by providing low latency and energy-efficient data processing solutions.Previous fog computing frameworks have various flaws,such as overvaluing response time or ignoring the accuracy of the result yet handling both at the same time compromises the network community.In this proposed work,health Fog is integrated with the Optimized Cascaded Convolution Neural Network framework for diagnosing heart disease.Initially,the data is collected,and then pre-processing is done by Linear Discriminant Analysis.then the features are extracted and optimized using Galactic Swarm Optimization.the optimized features are given into the health Fog framework for diagnosing heart disease patients.It uses ensemble-based deep learning in edge computing devices,which automatically monitors real-life health networks such as heart disease analysis.Finally,the classifiers such as bagging,boosting,XGBoost,Multi-Layer Perceptron(MLP),and Partitions(PARt)are used for classifying the data.then the majority voting classifier predicts the result.this work uses FogBus architecture and evaluates the execution of power usage,bandwidth of the network,latency,execution time,and accuracy.

We consider a downlink multi-user scenario and investigate the use of reconfigurable intelligent surfaces(RISs)to maximize the dirty-paper-coding(DPC)sum rate of the RIS-assisted broadcast channel.Different from prior works,which maximize the rate achievable by linear precoders,we assume a capacity-achieving DPC scheme is employed at the transmitter and optimize the transmit covariances and RIS reflection coefficients to directly maximize the sum capacity of the broadcast channel.We propose an optimization algorithm that iteratively alternates between optimizing the transmit covariances using convex optimization and the RIS reflection coefficients using Riemannian manifold optimization.Our results show that the proposed technique can be used to effectively improve the sum capacity in a variety of scenarios compared to benchmark schemes.

In recent times,Internet of Medical things(IoMt)gained much attention in medical services and healthcare management domain.Since healthcare sector generates massive volumes of data like personal details,historical medical data,hospitalization records,and discharging records,IoMt devices too evolved with potentials to handle such high quantities of data.Privacy and security of the data,gathered by IoMt gadgets,are major issues while transmitting or saving it in cloud.the advancements made in Artificial Intelligence(AI)and encryption techniques find a way to handle massive quantities of medical data and achieve security.In this view,the current study presents a new Optimal Privacy Preserving and Deep Learning(DL)-based Disease Diagnosis(OPPDL-DD)in IoMt environment.Initially,the proposed model enables IoMt devices to collect patient data which is then preprocessed to optimize quality.In order to decrease the computational difficulty during diagnosis,Radix tree structure is employed.In addition,ElGamal public key cryptosystem with Rat Swarm Optimizer(EIG-RSO)is applied to encrypt the data.Upon the transmission of encrypted data to cloud,respective decryption process occurs and the actual data gets reconstructed.Finally,a hybridized methodology combining Gated Recurrent Unit(GRU)with Convolution Neural Network(CNN)is exploited as a classification model to diagnose the disease.Extensive sets of simulations were conducted to highlight the performance of the proposed model on benchmark dataset.the experimental outcomes ensure that the proposed model is superior to existing methods under different measures.

Background:Bile duct injury(BDI)after cholecystectomy remains a significant surgical challenge.No guideline exists to guide the timing of repair,while few studies compare early versus late repair BDI.this study aimed to analyze the outcomes in patients undergoing immediate,intermediate,and delayed repair of BDI.Methods:We retrospectively analyzed 412 patients with BDI from March 2015 to January 2020.the patients were divided into three groups based on the time of BDI reconstruction.Group 1 underwent an immediate reconstruction(within the first 72 hours post-cholecystectomy,n=156);group 2 underwent an intermediate reconstruction(from 4 days to 6 weeks post-cholecystectomy,n=75),and group 3 underwent delayed reconstruction(after 6 weeks post-cholecystectomy,n=181).Results:Patients in group 2 had significantly more early complications including anastomotic leakage and intra-abdominal collection and late complications including anastomotic stricture and secondary liver cirrhosis compared with groups 1 and 3.Favorable outcome was observed in 111(71.2%)patients in group 1,31(41.3%)patients in group 2,and 157(86.7%)patients in group 3(P=0.0001).Multivariate analysis identified that complete ligation of the bile duct,level E1 BDI and the use of external stent were independent factors of favorable outcome in group 1,the use of external stent was an independent factor of favorable outcome in group 2,and level E4 BDI was an independent factor of unfavorable outcome in group 3.transected BDI and level E4 BDI were independent factors of unfavorable outcome.Conclusions:Favorable outcomes were more frequently observed in the immediate and delayed reconstruction of post-cholecystectomy BDI.Complete ligation of the bile duct,level E1 BDI and the use of external stent were independent factors of a favorable outcome.
