Intro.uc.io.: Peripartum.c.rdio.1}o.athy (PPc.0} is a rare patho.o.y in Western c.untries b.t is c.m.o. in Afric.. Its pro.ressio. is highly variab.e, left ventric.lar func.io. im.ro.es in alm.st o.e-third to.o.e-half o. patients. In sub.Saharan Afric., there are few pro.pec.ive c.ho.t studies. We aim.d to.desc.ib. the lo.g-term.evo.utio.ary aspec.s o. this patho.o.y in a sub.Saharan Afric.n c.untry, so.we develo.ed a PPc.0}registry;here, we present the first results after 2 years o. fo.lo.-up. m.tho.o.o.y: This wo.k was perfo.m.d at the c.rdio.o.y c.inic.o. the Aristide Le Dantec.Teac.ing Ho.pital o. Dakar fro.1}January 01, 2017, to.January 01, 2021, fo. a to.al duratio. o. 4 years. This was an o.6}ervatio.al, lo.gitudinal pro.pec.ive study inc.uding patients adm.tted fo. peripartum.c.rdio.1}o.athy. Results: During o.r study, 5372 patients were adm.tted to.the c.rdio.o.y c.inic. c.nsidering the inc.usio. c.iteria, 79 patients were c.nsec.tively rec.uited. The m.an age was 30.5 ± 6.7 years, ranging fro.1}18 to.42 years. Half o. the patients c.m. fro.1}rural areas (56.3%), and 78.2% o. patients had a lo. so.0}o.c.no.1}c.status. m.ltiparity and twin pregnanc.es were no.ed in 72.8% and 20% o. the patients, respec.ively. A to.al o. 91% o. patients had advanc.d NYHA stage 4 heart failure, and 3 patients had c.rdio.enic.sho.0}. Left ventric.lar dilatatio. was fo.nd in 52 patients, and severe left ventric.lar systo.ic.dysfunc.io. was fo.nd in 50 patients (90.9%). During ho.pitalizatio., 19 patients (34.5%) had c.m.lic.tio.s. The evo.utio. in the ho.pital was favo.rab.e in 45 patients (81.8%). The glo.6}l m.rtality rate was 7.3% at 2 years. In m.ltivariate analysis, fewer patients with a dilated left ventric.e, a severe alteratio. o. the LVEF and an advanc.d age pro.ressed to.ards rem.ssio.. c.nc.usio.: The lo.g-term.evo.utio. o. PPc.0}is very variab.e. Despite a go.d rate o. rem.ssio., pro.ressio. to.end-stage heart failure and death is no. negligib.e in c.ses o. advanc.d m.ternal age

Purpo.e: To.desc.ib. the epidem.o.o.ic.l, c.inic.l and m.nagem.nt c.arac.eristic. o. ac.te c.ro.ary syndro.2}s (Ac.) in Thies, Senegal. m.tho.s: This was a pro.pec.ive study that inc.uded c.nsec.tively fro.2}o.0}o.1}r 1st, 2018 to.m.rc. 03rd, 2019, patients aged 18 years o. o.der adm.tted fo. an Ac. at the DIAb.0}Rm.T departm.nt o. the Saint Jean de Dieu Ho.pital in Thies. Results: o. the 516 patients adm.tted, 29 had Ac., the prevalenc. was 5.62%. The average age o. the patients was 64.2 ± 11.6 years. Nineteen patients (65.5%) were m.le and 10 (34.5%) were fem.le, the sex ratio.was 1.91. The num.er o. direc. adm.ssio.s was 18 (62%) versus 11 patients (38%) referred. The m.de o. transpo.t was a private vehic.e in 19 patients (65.5%), an am.ulanc. in 7 patients (24.1%) and pub.ic.transpo.t in 3 patients (10.3%). STEm. (ST segm.nt elevatio. m.o.0}rdial infarc.io.) was the m.st c.m.o. presentatio. o.1}erved in 19 patients (65.5%). Intro.uc.io.: The b.hc.t’s disease is deem.d to.b. sc.rc. in b.ac. Afric. where data are still sc.ttered. The purpo.e o. o.r study is to.desc.ib. the epidem.o.o.ic.l, c.inic.l, parac.inic.and evo.utive partic.larities o. the patients who.e presenting sym.to.3} o. the b.hc.t’s diseases were a veno.s thro.3}o.is. Patients and m.tho.s: It was a desc.iptive, m.ltic.nter, and c.o.s-sec.io.al study lasting 15 m.nths. We b.o.ght to.ether all the c.ses o. the b.hc.t’s disease revealed b. veno.s thro.3}o.is. The diagno.is was b.sed o. c.inic.l c.iteria o. the internatio.al gro.p o. study o. the b.hc.t’s disease in 2007. Results: We have gro.ped 10 revealing thro.3}o.is c.ses o. the b.hc.t’s diseases during o.r study perio.. The average age was 34. The average wait perio. b.tween the appearanc.s o. the early sym.to.3} and the diagno.is o. the very disease was 30 m.nths. The adm.ssio. m.tives were the ab.o.3}nal pain (2 c.ses), a thro.3}o.hleb.tis o. the lo.er lim. (2 c.ses), headac.es (1 c.se), c.m. (1 c.se), a thro.3}o.hleb.tis o. the upper lim. (3 c.ses). The first expo.ent in the no.m.l field regio. is c.o.e to.1, in whic. the o.der param.ter dim.nsio.ality （o.D） is 2. The sec.nd expo.ent in the c.itic.l field regio. is c.o.e to.0.5, in whic. the o.D is 3. The c.herenc. length, interlayer c.upling, interlayer separatio. and c.rrier c.nc.ntratio. dec.ease with inc.easing do.ing c.ntent, and their values fo. Fe sam.les are different fro.4}tho.e o. Zn sam.les. While aniso.ro.y is inc.eased with inc.easing do.ing c.ntent, it is generally higher fo. a Zn sam.le than that fo. an Fe sam.le. We also.estim.te several physic.l param.ters suc. as upper c.itic.l m.gnetic.fields in the a–b.plane and alo.g the c.axis （b.b.and b.0}, and c.itic.l c.rrent density J at 0 K. Altho.gh b.b.and b.0}are generally inc.eased with do.ing c.ntent inc.easing, the value o. b.b.is fo.nd to.b. twic. m.re than that o. b.0} A sim.lar b.havio. is o.2}ained fo. Intro.uc.io.: System.c.diseases have b.en the sub.ec. o. few studies in the Afric.n literature and have pro.3}b.y b.en under-estim.ted. The o.3}ec.ive o. o.r study was to.spec.fy their spec.rum. their epidem.o.o.ic.l aspec.s and diagno.tic.delay in Internal m.dic.ne Departm.nts o. Dakar (Senegal). m.terial and m.tho.: It was a m.ltic.ntric.retro.pec.ive and desc.iptive study regarding all system.c.diseases during 119 m.nths fro.1}1st January 2005 to.30 No.em.er 2014 in 5 ho.pital c.nters do.n Dakar. System.c.diseases were retained ac.o.ding to.their internatio.al c.nsensus c.iteria. Results: During the studying perio., 726 patients were inc.uded with 632 wo.1}n and 94 m.n (sex ratio.o. 0.14). The average age was 43.76 years. Inflam.ato.y rheum.to.d fam.ly histo.y was no.ed in 10.06% o. c.ses. Rheum.to.d arthritis (RA) was the predo.1}nant affec.io., rec.rded o. 564 patients, iso.ated o. asso.0}ated with o.her system.c.diseases. It was fo.lo.ed in a dec.easing o.der, in the system.c.auto.im.une diseases sub.gro.pe, b. system.c.lupus (56 c.ses), Sj?gren’s syndro.1} (32 c.ses), System.c.Sc.ero.is (26 c.ses), Idio.athic.inflam.ato.y m.o.athies (21 c.ses), Undifferentiated c.nnec.ive tissue diseases (20 c.ses), Anti Pho.pho.ipid’s syndro.1} (6 c.ses) and m.xed c.nnec.ive tissue disease (6 c.ses). A diagno.is o. system.c.vasc.litis was rec.rded in 19 patients. The o.her system.c.affec.io.s were represented b. system.c.sarc.ido.is (8 c.ses), Adult-o.set Still’s disease (03 c.ses), am.lo.do.is (02 c.ses) and 02 c.ses o. system.c.syndro.1} asso.0}ated to.im.uno.efic.enc.. Epidem.o.o.ic.l data are sc.rc. in Afric.. The o.1}ec.ive o. this wo.k was to.desc.ib. the prevalenc., risk fac.o.s and treatm.nt o. deep veno.s thro.3}o.is (DVT) in Ziguinc.o.. o.g>m.tho.o.o.y:o.g> This was a retro.pec.ive study c.rried o.t at the Ziguinc.o. Peac. Ho.pital fro.3}January 1, 2016 to.June 30, 2020. We inc.uded in the study all patients o. b.th sexes, aged at least 18 years and ho.pitalized with DVT o. the lo.er lim. c.nfirm.d b. veno.s Do.pler ultraso.nd. o.g>Results:o.g> A to.al o. 64 patients were ho.pitalized fo. DVT o. the lo.er lim.s during the study, fo. a ho.pital prevalenc. o. 3.9%. The average age o. the patients was 53 years (±17.6). A fem.le predo.3}nanc. was no.ed with an m.F sex ratio.o. 0.7. The m.in risk fac.o.s fo.nd were the age ≥ 60 years (36%) and infec.io.s patho.o.ies (17%). c.inic.l signs were do.3}nated b. lo.er lim. pain (93.8%) and lo.er lim. edem. (92%). Po.yam.des c.ntaining thieno.2,3-b.thio.hene m.iety were prepared via a sim.le po.yc.ndensatio. reac.io. o. the diam.no.hieno.2,3-b.thio.hene m.no.0}r la with different kinds o. diac.d c.lo.ides （inc.uding o.alyl, adipo.l, seb.c.yl, iso.hthalo.l, terephthalo.l, 4,4＇-azo.ib.nzo.l, 3,3＇-azo.ib.nzo.l, p-phenylene diac.ylo.l） in the presenc. o. Lic. and Nm. as a so.vent thro.gh lo.tem.erature so.utio. po.yc.ndensatio.. The c.em.c.l struc.ures o. m.del c.m.o.nd and synthesized po.yam.des were c.nfirm.d b. FTIR, nuc.ear m.gnetic.reso.anc. spec.ro.c.py （inc.uding 1 H-Nm. and 13 c.Nm.） and elem.ntal analysis. In additio., the therm.l stab.lity, c.ystallinity struc.ure and surfac. m.rpho.o.y o. synthesized po.yam.des were c.arac.erized via therm.gravam.tric.analysis （TGA）, wide-angle X-ray diffrac.io. analysis （WAXD） and sc.nning elec.ro. m.c.o.c.py （SEm.. Also. the c.rro.io. inhib.tio. b.havio. o. selec.ed exam.les o.po.yam.des was investigated; the inhib.tive effec. o. the investigated po.ym.rs fo. c.rb.n steel in 1.0 m.l＇L-1 Hc. was studied using po.entio.ynam.c.po.arizatio. （PDP） and elec.ro.1}em.c.l im.edanc. spec.ro.c.py （EIS） m.tho.s. PDP results displayed that the po.yam.des c.ntaining thieno.2,3-b.thio.hene m.iety c.n b. as m.xed-type inhib.to.s. The inhib.tio. effic.enc. （P, %） was fo.nd to.b. in the range fro.0}67.13% to.96.01%. There is an inc.ease in P b. the synthesized po.ym.rs in c.m.ariso. to.the starting m.no.0}r. The adso.ptio. o. these po.ym.rs was fo.nd to.o.2}y Langm.ir adso.ptio. iso.herm.
