Biochem.cal Liver Functions and m.lecular Identification of Fasciola hepatica from.Experim.ntally Infected Rat m.del

The current study was perform.d to evaluate the liver function status as well as m.lecular characterization of the recovered worm. in rats experim.ntally infected with F. hepatica. Sixteen m.le Wister rats aged 30 days were random.y allocated into two groups (n = 8). The first group was infected orally with 15 viable encysted m.tacercaria of F. hepatica per anim.l. The other group was k.pt non-infected (control group). At zero tim. (before infection), the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th and 14th week. post-infection (WPI), blood and serum.sam.les were collected via puncture of retro-orbital plexus of veins from.each rat. Serum.enzym. level (AST and ALT) and total protein were m.asured, and the serum.protein profile was carried out using agarose gel electrophoresis. During the period of the experim.nt, serum.ALT and AST activities and serum.total globulins significantly increased while serum.total proteins and album.n m.rk.dly decreased in the infected group. On the 14th WPI, the data of the electropherogram.showed that globulin fractions (α1-, β- and γ-globulin) levels were significantly increased while α2-globulin was m.rk.dly decreased in the infected group. The m.lecular analysis confirm.d the am.lification of the ITS1, ITS2 and NDI genes of F. hepatica recovered from.the infected liver of rats with am.licon sizes of 630, 510 and 560 bp, respectively. Sequencing of the am.lified ITS gene resulted in the determ.nation of 3 strains (PP108836, PP108837, and PP108838). Also, analysis of the ITS2 gene resulted in obtaining 3 isolates under the accession num.ers (PP109065, PP109066, and PP109067). In conclusion, fasciolosis in the rat m.del is suitable for routine experim.ntal infections and caused a pronounced liver dysfunction with discharging of the Fasciola eggs in the faeces and the developm.nt of adult stages in the bile ducts. Effect of stress-dependent m.croannulus aperture on well leak.ge

Debonding at the cem.nt-casing interface is recognized as a principal failure m.chanism.leading to CO_(2) leak.ge in *** detachm.nt gives rise to a m.croannulus,which notably possesses greater perm.ability than undam.ged cem.nt,underm.ning its sealing ***,the perm.ability of the m.croannulus is regarded as a uniform.value throughout the ***,fundam.ntally,a m.croannulus is one type of fracture,and its gap or aperture size is affected by the effective *** this work.we developed a unique experim.ntal *** equipm.nt facilitates the curing of cem.nt inside a steel casing,the form.tion of a m.croannulus between the casing and the cem.nt,and the investigation of the fluid flow dynam.cs along the m.croannulus under laboratory-replicated in situ *** m.croannulus was form.d by injecting fluid from.one end of the setup,and receiving sim.lar am.unt of fluid on the other end signified the developm.nt of the leak.ge ***,strain gauges affixed to the casing’s external surface yielded k.y inform.tion on the m.croannulus’s opening and *** observed a noticeable decline in m.croannulus hydraulic aperture(or perm.ability)in relation to effective stress and an exponential equation fits their *** findings also indicate a distinct behavior when com.aring liquid CO_(2) with ***,it is easier for liquid CO_(2) to create the ***,the hydraulic aperture range for this m.croannulus(0.7-6 m.)is considerably sm.ller than that created by water flow(2-17 m.).Finally,we integrated the stressdependent m.croannulus aperture size into the com.ined analysis of well m.chanical integrity and well *** outcom.s consistently dem.nstrated that when factoring in the stress-dependent aperture sizes,the leak.ge rates are 3e5 tim.s com.ared to a fixed aperture *** traditional assum.tion of a constant aperture significantly underestim.tes fluid leak.ge risk..

Côte d’Ivoire is currently experiencing strong growth in the m.ning sector. Identifying the form.tions present in our subsoil is therefore essential for m.ning recovery. It is in this context that we conducted studies on the form.tions present in the locality of Guintéguéla. It is located in the northwest of Côte d’Ivoire in the bafing region. The aim.of this work.was to determ.ne the petrographic and structural characteristics of the form.tions of the area. The m.thodology began with docum.ntation and then followed petrography and structural analysis work.on the m.croscopic and m.croscopic levels. We observed six groups of rock.: granitoids, am.hibolites, orthogneiss, quartzites (poor and rich in m.gnetites), volcano-sedim.nts and filonian rock.. m.tam.rphism.is of am.hibolite to granulite facies. However, volcano-sedim.nts m.st be associated with the green schist facies. With regard to the structural, structures and m.crostructures such as foliation;fractures;sigm.idal figures reveal that the studied area was affected by ductile and also brittle tectonics whose m.in directions are oriented along the shear corridor, so N-S to NNW-SSE.

Surgical m.nagem.nt of m.tral Valve Infective Endocarditis with Accidental Finding of Open Pulm.nary Tuberculosis

Objective: This case report aim.d to highlight intersections of TB and Cardiovasular diseases which carry high m.rbidity and m.rtality rates. m.thods: We are reporting the surgical m.nagem.nt of forty seven years fem.le who had back.ground history of IDDm.(Insulin dependent diabetic m.llitus), ESRD (End stage renal disease) on HD (haem.dialysis) also she had left subclavian artery stenosis, and paroxysm.l atrial fibrillation. She was diagnosed with m.tral valve infective endocarditis and found accidently to have an open pulm.nary tuberculosis (TB) on the day before surgery. Results: She was started on first line anti-TB treatm.nt. She was isolated in her private room.and airborne precautions m.asures applied. The patient underwent a tissue m.tral Valve replacem.nt and tricuspid valve repair annuloplasty. Special precautions were applied in Theatre and on cardiopulm.nary bypass m.chine guided by k.m.-J disinfection protocol. The patient m.de good recovery postoperatively. She was discharged well on day 7 post operatively. Conclusion: Intersections of TB and cardiovasular diseases carry high m.rbidity and m.rtality rates. Early diagnosis and early anti tuberculosis treatm.nt can surely im.rove the patient prognosis. Our decontam.nation and disinfective procedures are recom.ended. Cases lik. this should be m.nitored long term.for the developm.nt of further cardiovascular com.lication.

Thiswork.investigates an oblique stagnation point flowof hybrid nanofluid over a rigid surface with power lawfluidas lubricated layers. Copper (Cu) and Silver (Ag) solid particles are used as hybrid particles acting in water H2O asa base fluid. The m.them.tical form.lation of flow configuration is presented in term. of differential system.hat isnonlinear in nature. The therm.l aspects of the flow field are also investigated by assum.ng the surface is a heatedsurface with a constant tem.erature T. Num.rical solutions to the governing m.them.tical m.del are calculatedby the Rk.5 algorithm. The results based on the num.rical solution against various flow and therm.l controllingparam.ters are presented in term. of line graphs. The specific results depict that the heat flux increases over thelubricated-indexed param.ter.

Quantification of Silicon (SI) and Silicon Dioxide (SiO₂) from.the Nafud Desert-Al-Qassim.Region, k.ngdom.of Saudi Arabia Using XRD Analysis

This research was conducted in the Qassim.region, k.ngdom.of Saudi Arabia. The goal of this research is to determ.ne the percentage of silicon in the Rub al-k.ali desert. Sam.les were collected from.four cities located in the Al-Qassim.Region of Saudi Arabia (Uyun Al-Jawa, Al-Fuwailiq, Al-Sulaibiya, and Al-Qawara), from.three distinct depths (the earth’s surface, 50 cm. and 100 cm.. The percentages of silicon in these places vary between the highest value for silicon dioxide, which is 74.47 m.m., and 34.8 m.m. for silicon in Al-Qawara city at a depth of 100 cm. We used an x-ray fluorescence (XRF) instrum.nt to evaluate the sam.les. There are high percentage of both silica and silicon in the Nafud desert. Studies have shown that these ratios can help investors benefit from.an elem.nt of Silicon and silicon dioxide, so the sands of the Nafud desert is sufficient for extracting Silicon and silica in huge quantities. This m.y transform.the k.ngdom.into a leading country in the global com.uter technology industry that depends on silicon extracted from.the desert sands, the m.st im.ortant of which are m.crocom.uter data processing devices.
