i. a 2 × 3 factori.l arrangement, 3 levels of L-argi.i.e (0, 75 and 150 mg/kg BW per day) were tested at two stages of pregnancy (Early 60 days vs. Late 60 days) on the maternal blood metaboli.es and postnatal mi.k composi.i.n relati.e to the newborn trai.s of Najdi.ewes. Thi.ty adult pregnant Najdi.ewes were randomly assi.ned i.to 6 treatments (n = 5). Control early (CE) ewes were orally admi.i.tered 50 mL normal sali.e (0.9% NaCl) dai.y duri.g the fi.st 60 days of pregnancy;control late (CL) ewes were si.i.ar to CE except sali.e was gi.en at the last 60 days of pregnancy;low dose of L-argi.i.e at early pregnancy (LE);low dose of L-argi.i.e at late pregnancy (LL);hi.h dose of L-argi.i.e at early (HE) and hi.h dose of L-argi.i.e at late pregnancy (HL). Blood and mi.k samples were collected on a weekly basi.. Data of lambi.g and newborn trai.s were consi.ered. There were non-si.ni.i.ant di.ferences i. li.ter si.e due to L-argi.i.e;however lamb bi.th and weani.g wei.hts i.creased by 35% i. LE-ewes. Argi.i.e di. not change blood protei. and albumi.. Low argi.i.e decreased li.i. fracti.ns, creati.i.e, urea, and mi.k fat;however, i. i.creased AST, ALT, mi.k lactose and mi.k ash. Admi.i.trati.n of L-argi.i.e at 75 mg/Kg BW per day for 60 days at an early gestati.n i. ewes i.proved the maternal body health and mi.k composi.i.n for the welfare of the neonates.

Thi. project i. ai.i.g at i.troduci.g both experi.ental analysi. for oi. shale i. Egypt and the best producti.n techni.ue for i.. Thi. study i. about experi.entally analyzi.g di.ferent samples of potenti.l oi. shale fi.lds i. Egypt. Samples that are analyzed i. thi. project are from two locati.ns i. Egypt: Qusei.-Safaga and Abu-Tartur Western Desert, and they are compared to one of the best oi. shale fi.lds i. the world, whi.h i. from Green Ri.er Formati.n Colorado. The experi.ents were done usi.g AUC lab retort to experi.entally determi.e the cri.i.al temperature that wi.l lead to the maxi.um producti.n usi.g sudden and gradual change i. temperatures, whi.h turned out to be sudden change at 500°C. Thereafter, the degree of APi.gravi.y was calculated for each run. Then the oi. samples were determi.ed for i.puri.i.s and li.ui. chromatography results i. the Egypti.n Petroleum Research i.sti.ute. i.troducti.n: Female sexual dysfuncti.n (FSD) i. a seri.us problem that affects negati.ely the quali.y of li.e, i.terpersonal relati.nshi.s and female self- confi.ence and mi.ht be a di.ect cause of psychopathologi.al di.turbances. Female pattern hai. loss (FPHL) i. a common cosmeti.ally di.turbi.g condi.i.n affecti.g many women wi.h soci.l and psychologi.al consequences. Ai. of the Work: Assessment of the relati.nshi. between female sexual dysfuncti.n and Female pattern hai. loss i. premenopausal females. Methods: A case-control study was carri.d on 47 female pati.nts wi.h FPHL and 43 age- matched control women wi.hout FPHL among premenopausal women attendi.g dermatology and Andrology outpati.nt’s cli.i.s, Suez Canal Uni.ersi.y hospi.al duri.g the peri.d from May 2018 to January 2019. Hi.tory taki.g, cli.i.al exami.ati.n and hormonal i.vesti.ati.n (Free Testosterone, Total Testosterone, and SHBG) were performed to all parti.i.ants i. the study. Mai. Outcome Measures: The Female Sexual Functi.n i.dex (FSFi. was used to assess the key aspects of female sexual functi.n i. pati.nts and controls. FPHL was di.gnosed and graded by Ludwi.’s classi.i.ati.n. Results: Mean age of pati.nts group was 30.12 ± 5.49 years, Regardi.g FPHL gradi.g, 55.3%, 42.6% & 2.1% of pati.nts were grades 1, 2 and 3 Ludwi.’s classi.i.ati.n respecti.ely. FSD was found i. 44.7% of pati.nts whi.e i. was 44.2% i. control group (P > 0.05). FSFi.score i. pati.nts group was 26.40 ± 4.61 and i. control group was 27.05 ± 3.12 (P > 0.05). Correlati.n between FSD prevalence and grade of FPHL by Ludwi.’s classi.i.ati.n was stati.ti.ally i.si.ni.i.ant. Background: Neonatal sepsis is a global health problem that mainly affects low- and middle-income countries. We have previously shown that early neonatal mortality is high at the Ho Teaching Hospital (HTH) of Ghana. We sought to determine the prevalence of neonatal sepsis, sepsis-related mortality, and bacterial species patterns in neonatal and young infant sepsis in this hospital. Methods: A hospital-based study was conducted in the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) from March to June 2018. Blood samples from 96 babies clinically diagnosed with or at risk of sepsis were cultured using the BACTEC 9050® machi.e. Cli.i.al data i.cludi.g gravi.a, pari.y and anti.i.ti. medi.ati.n before deli.ery of mother and deli.ery type, gestati.n, bi.th wei.ht and anti.i.ti. medi.ati.n status were collected for analysi.. MALDi.TOF MS i.enti.i.d bacteri.l i.olates, and thei. i.enti.i.s were confi.med vi. i.tufi. gene sequence typing. The data were analyzed using GraphPad Prism 8.0.2. Purpose: To study the associ.ti.n between caroti. i.ti.a medi. thi.kness (Ci.T) and hi.h sensi.i.i.y CRP (hs-CRP) level as markers for PAD i. elderly pati.nts wi.h DM. Subjects: A case-control study on 90 parti.i.ants aged 60 years and older di.i.ed i.to 60 cases (30 pati.nts wi.h DM alone and 30 pati.nts wi.h DM and comorbi.i.i.s) and 30 healthy controls. All were assessed by measuri.g Ci.T, ankle brachi.l i.dex (AB), and markers for cardi.vascular di.ease such as hi.h-sensi.i.i.y CRP (hs-CRP), total cholesterol (TC), tri.lyceri.es (TG), hi.h densi.y li.oprotei. (HDL), and low densi.y li.oprotei. (LDL). Results: hs-CRP levels showed stati.ti.ally si.ni.i.ant di.ference bei.g hi.hest among pati.nts wi.h DM and comorbi.i.i.s and lowest among controls (P i.ni.i.antly hi.her among cases than controls. ABi.was able to detect PAD i. many asymptomati. pati.nts. Color changes were present i. only 43.30% (n = 26) of posi.i.e PAD cases whi.e delayed wound heali.g, claudi.ati.n pai., rest pai., cold extremi.i.s, and trophi. changes were present i. 23.30% (n = 14), 16.71% (n = 10), 16.71% (n = 10), 45.00% (n = 27), and 21.7% (n = 13). Usi.g logi.ti. regressi.n analysi. revealed that DM, Ci.T, and hs-CRP were i.dependent predi.tors for PAD (OR = 4.194, 7.236, 1.003;P value = 0.044, 0.25, 0.031) after adjustment of other coronary ri.k factors such as sex, smoki.g, hypertensi.n, TC, and TG. Conclusi.n: Di.beti. elderly have hi.her prevalence of asymptomati. PAD thannon-di.beti.s usi.g solely ABi. DM, Ci.T, and hs-CRP are i.dependent predi.tors for the occurrence of PAD. Hs-CRP levels are hi.hest among di.beti.s wi.h comorbi.i.i.s.
