Natural gas conversion to petrochemicals, principally, benzene, naphthalene, toluene, as well as ethylene under non-oxidative conditions was examined in a fixed bed flow reactor at 700 ℃ and gaseous hourly space velocity （GhSV） of 1500 ml·g ^-1·h^-1 at time-on-stream ranging from 5 rain to 4 h using catalysts containing 6.0%Mo/h-ZSM-5 promoted with Pd or Ir metal. The catalysts were characterized by XRD, TPD, and TGA. The addition of Pd or Ir to 6%Mo/h-ZSM-5 catalyst promoted ethylene production but inhibited the cyclization reaction to aromatics owing to the strong interaction between these noble metals and the framework Al species, which were attached to the acid sites during the impregnation process. Coke deposition on the catalysts was found to decrease upon addition of 0.5wt% of Pd or Ir to 6%Mo/h-ZSM-5 catalyst owing to the hydrogenating activity of these metals.

Mikbi intrusion(MI) is a part of the Neoproterozoic Nubian Shield located along the Ne-SW trending major fracture zones prevailing southern eastern Desert of egypt. In this study, we present for the first time detailed mineralogical and bulk-rock geochemical data to infer some constraints on the parental magma genesis and to understand the tectonic processes contributed to MI formation. Lithologically, it is composed of fresh peridotite, clinopyroxenite, hornblendite, anorthosite, gabbronorite, pyroxene amphibole gabbro, amphibole gabbro and diorite. All rocks have low Th/La ratios(mostly e Zr and Th anomalies excluding significant crustal contamination. They show very low concentrations of Nb, Ta, Zr and hf together with sub-chondritic ratios of Nb/Ta(2-15) and Zr/hf(19-35),suggesting that their mantle source was depleted by earlier melting extraction event. The oxygen fugacity(logfO_2) estimated from diorite biotite is around the nickel-nickel oxide buffer(NNO) indicating crystallization from a relatively oxidized magma. Amphiboles in the studied mafic-ultramafic rocks indicate relative oxygen fugacity(i.e. ΔNNO; nickel-nickel oxide) of 0.28-3 and were in equilibrium mostly with 3.77-8.24 wt.% h_2 O_(melt)(i.e. water content in the melt), consistent with the typical values of subduction-related magmas. Moreover, pressure estimates(0.53-6.79 kbar) indicate polybaric crystallization and suggest that the magma chamber(s) was located at relatively shallow crustal levels. The enrichment in LILe(e.g., Cs, Ba, K and Sr) and the depletion in hFSe(e.g., Th and Nb) relative to primitive mantle are consistent with island arc signature. The olivine, pyroxene and amphibole compositions also reflect arc affinity. These inferences suggest that their primary magma was derived from partial melting of a mantle source that formerly metasomatized in a subduction zone setting. The four isolates solid complexes:[La(RhC)(NO_(3))_(2)]·3h_(2)O,[Nd(RhC)(NO_(3))_(2)]·4h_(2)O,[eu(RhC)(NO_(3))_(2)]·2h_(2)O,and[Ce(RhC)(NO_(3))_(2)]·5h_(2)O that obtained by the reaction of the nitrate salts of the Ce(Ⅲ),eu(Ⅲ),Nd(Ⅲ)and La(Ⅲ)ions and rhodamie C(RhC)ligand were interpretative using elemental analysis(C,h and N),molar conductivity,infrared,electronic,fluorescence and 1h-NMR spectra to achieve the speculated suitable *** low molar conductance values of the synthesized RhC complexes concluded the non-electrolytic *** infrared spectra recorded the absence of stretching vibrationν(Oh)of the—COOh and presence of two new vibration bands at 1597~1601 and 1383~1399 cm^(-1)which were assigned toνas(COO-)andνs(COO-).The difference between them revealed that the carboxylate group acts as a bidentate ligand.1hNMR spectra of europium and lanthanum(Ⅲ)complexes were supported the FTIR results based on the absent of proton of the carboxylic ***,the microanalytical and spectroscopic results deduced that RhC acts as a monobasic bidentate ligand,and coordinated to the central metal(Ⅲ)ions via the two oxygen atoms of deprotonated carboxylic *** studies were performed on the metal complexes of Ce^(3+),Tb^(3+),Th^(4+),Gd^(3+)and La^(3+),that referred a quenching in the fluorescene intensity of rhodamine C in the aqueous state after *** antimicrobial assessment against some kind of bacteria and fungi were also checked and recorded enhancement in case of their complexes.

Background: Diabetes mellitus (DM) especially type 2 is a major health problem and diabetic nephropathy is the main cause of end stage renal disease (eSRD). Renal ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury is common in diabetic patients. Recent studies reported increased vulnerability of kidneys to I/R injury in diabetic rats. In view of the reported efficacy of incretin enhancer on I/R injury. Aim: This study was designed to assess the effect of sitaglipten on renal I/R in type 2 diabetes mellitus . Methods: Type 2 DM in rats were induced by administration of nicotinamide (230 mg/kg, i.p.), 15 min prior to the single dose of streptozotocin (65 mg/kg, i.p.). Renal I/R were performed in both diabetic and normal rats. Results: The lipid peroxidation, xanthine oxidase activity, and nitric oxide levels were significantly increased after I/R in diabetic rats compared to I/R in normal rats. Antioxidant enzymes such as glutathione, superoxide dismutase, catalase, and glutathione peroxidase were significantly reduced after I/R in diabetic rats compared to normal rats. Sitaglipten treatment significantly normalized these biochemical parameters compared to diabetic I/R rats. Serum TNF-α level and myeloperoxidase activity were also significantly normalized after administration of sitaglipten. Furthermore, treatment with sitaglipten (10 mcg/kg) had preserved the normal morphology of the kidney compared to I/R performed in diabetic rats. Conclusion: Sitaglipten protects exaggerated renal I/R injury in type 2 DM. These findings have major implication in the treatment of ischemic injury that is prone to develop in DM.

Objective:To assess effect of buffalo bull breed on the development and cryotolerence of the in vitro produced ***: Three types of frozen semen were adopted;egyptian, Italian and cross-bred (egyptian-Italian) breeds were used for in-vitro fertilization and vitrification of their embryos. Oocytes were collected from buffalo ovaries and maturedin vitrofor 24 h, then they were fertilized using the three semen breeds. The produced embryos of morula and blastocysts were vitrified using ethylene glycol and dimethyl sulfoxide then evaluated for their viability after ***: The cleavage and blastocysts rates significantly declined in oocytes fertilized by egyptian (Phan in Italian (Ped (Pen semen. After embryo vitrification, there were no significant differences among the three breeds in the percentages of morphologically viable embryos evaluated directly after warming and at 24 h post-culture. Conclusions:Thein vitro fertilization response to frozen-thawed semen varies between breeds;however, the resistance of produced embryos to the damage effect of vitrification does not vary.

The effects of cold atmospheric-pressure plasma jet (CAPPJ) were investigated on germination and early seedling growth of fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum L) seeds. A two-electrode argon CAPPJ system with and without an additional grounded electrode [accelerating grounded (AG) electrode] was used at different exposure times. After 16 h of observation, the germination rates increased by 4 and 7 times, without and with using an AG electrode, respectively, for 1 min of plasma exposure. An increase in shoot fresh weight was observed, especially at 10 min exposure time. A high dry weight of root and shoot at 1 min-AG exposure time was observed. The root:shoot ratio was lower in plasma-treated seedlings, compared with the control plants. The study found that the O-radical emission line (777.4 nm) enhanced 5 times, due to the presence of an AG electrode, which increased the axial electric field and led to the formation of more streamers. The three stated effects (O-radicals, enhancement of the electric field and streamers) could be the cause for the stimulation of seed germination and seedling growth parameters when using the CAPPJ. The scanning electron microscope images showed the etching of the seed surface layers, which was more pronounced when an AG electrode was applied. The results of the current study indicate that the germination rates increased due to the increase of O-radical concentration and the etching of the seed surfaces.
