Biometric security is a growing trend,as it supports the authentication of persons using conﬁdential biometric *** of the transmitted data in multi-media systems are susceptible to attacks,which affect the security of these *** systems provide sufﬁcient protection and privacy for *** recently-introduced cancellable biometric recognition systems have not been investigated in the presence of different types of *** addition,they have not been studied on different and large biometric *** point that deserves consideration is the hardware implementation of cancellable biometric recognition *** paper presents a suggested hybrid cancellable biometric recognition system based on a 3D chaotic *** rationale behind the utilization of the 3D chaotic cryptosystem is to guarantee strong encryption of biometric templates,and hence enhance the security and privacy of *** suggested cryptosystem adds signiﬁcant permutation and diffusion to the encrypted biometric *** introduce some sort of attack analysis in this paper to prove the robustness of the proposed cryptosystem against *** addition,a Field Programmable gate Array(FPgA)implementation of the pro-posed system is *** obtained results with the proposed cryptosystem are compared with those of the traditional encryption schemes,such as Double Random Phase Encoding(DRPE)to reveal superiority,and hence high recogni-tion performance of the proposed cancellable biometric recognition *** obtained results prove that the proposed cryptosystem enhances the security and leads to better efﬁciency of the cancellable biometric recognition system in the presence of different types of attacks.

Cyberbullying,a critical concern for digital safety,necessitates effective linguistic analysis tools that can navigate the complexities of language use in online *** tackle this challenge,our study introduces a new approach employing Bidirectional Encoder Representations from the Transformers(BERT)base model(cased),originally pretrained in *** model is uniquely adapted to recognize the intricate nuances of Arabic online communication,a key aspect often overlooked in conventional cyberbullying detection *** model is an end-to-end solution that has been fine-tuned on a diverse dataset of Arabic social media(SM)tweets showing a notable increase in detection accuracy and sensitivity compared to existing *** results on a diverse Arabic dataset collected from the‘X platform’demonstrate a notable increase in detection accuracy and sensitivity compared to existing methods.E-BERT shows a substantial improvement in performance,evidenced by an accuracy of 98.45%,precision of 99.17%,recall of 99.10%,and an F1 score of 99.14%.The proposed E-BERT not only addresses a critical gap in cyberbullying detection in Arabic online forums but also sets a precedent for applying cross-lingual pretrained models in regional language applications,offering a scalable and effective framework for enhancing online safety across Arabic-speaking communities.

Radioactivity and mineralogy of the altered granites of the Wadi ghadir shear zone, South Eastern Desert, Egypt

Quartz-diorite, gneissose granodiorites, two-mica granite and perthite leucogranie are the main rock units cropping out in the Wadi ghadir area, South Eastern Desert of Egypt. Along the NNE-SSW mega-faults, a broad brittle shear zone is developed in the ghadir two-mica granite. Brittle deformation is manifested by severe myloniti-zation and alteration of these granites. These sheared altered granites are characterized by the presence of radioactive mineralization, associated with alteration features such as silicification, hematization and kaolinitization. Radioelement measurements revealed that the unaltered and altered two-mica granites are considered as uraniferous granites. The average uranium and thorium contents in the unaltered two-mica granites are 12.29×10-6 and 19.81×10-6, respectively, and the average Th/U ratio is 1.62. The altered granites exhibit higher concentrations of U (averaging 97.949), but have lower Th and Th/U ratios (13.83 and 0.16, respectively), which indicates uranium enrichment in the granites. Binary relations of eTh/eU against either eU or eTh and eU with eTh in the studied gran-ites suggest that the distribution of radioactive elements not only magmatic (positive correlation between eU and eTh), but also due to hydrothermal redistribution of radioelements (weak correlation between eU and eTh/eU). The magmatic U and Th are indicated by the presence of uraninite, thorite, zircon and monazite whereas the evidence of hydrothermal mineralization is the alteration of rock-forming minerals such as feldspar and the forma-tion of secondary minerals such as uranophane and pyrite. Microscopic, XRD and scanning electron microscopic studies revealed the presence of uraninite, uranophane, thorite, Ce-monazite and zircon, in addition to phlogopite-fluor mica in the studied altered granites of the Wadi ghadir shear zone.

Mineralogy and radioactivity of pegmatites from South Wadi Khuda area,Eastern Desert,Egypt

Radioactive minerals in pegmatites associated with granitic rocks are commonly encountered in the south of the Wadi Khuda area and found as dyke-like and small *** are observed within garnet-muscovite granites near the contact with older *** surveys indicated that the studied pegmatites vary in dimensions ranging from 2 to 10 m in width and from 10 to 500 m in *** are composed mainly of intergrowth of milky quartz,reddish-pink K-feldspar and plagioclase together with small pockets of *** radiometric measurements indicated that radioactivity in pegmatites is more than twice that of their enclosing country *** measurements revealed that the average contents of U and Th increase gradually from rocks of dioritic to granodioritic composition(1.5×10-6 U and 4.3×10-6 Th) and increase significantly in biotite granites(5.8×10-6 U and 15.2×10-6 Th) but drastically decrease in muscovite granites(2.2×10-6 U and 5.6×10-6 Th).The average contents of U and Th of anomalous pegmatites are 95.3×10-6 and 116.9×10-6,respectively,indicating their uraniferous *** the south of the Wadi Khuda area,pegmatites are low in average Th/U(1.4) and high in average U/K(35.6),which suggests that uranium concentrating processes did not affect the pegmatites,indicating poor *** investigations of the studied pegmatites revealed the presence of secondary uranium minerals(kasolite and autunite),in addition to zircon,thorite,apatite,garnet and *** and secondary radioactive mineralizations indicated that the mineralization is not only magmatic,but also *** microprobe analyses showed distinct cryptic chemical zoning within thorite where UO2 decreases from core to *** feature in thorite is sporadic,suggesting non-uniform redistributions of UO2 within thorite during magmatic processes.

Magnesium and aluminum alloys continually attract interest as lightweight structural materials for transport applications. However, joining these dissimilar alloys is very challenging. The main obstacle that hinders progress in dissimilar Mg-Al joining is the formation of brittle intermetallic compounds(IMCs). As a solid-state joining technique, FSW is an excellent candidate to attenuate the deleterious IMC effects in dissimilar Al-Mg joining due to the inherent low heat inputs involved in the process. However, the IMCs, namely Al_(3)Mg_(2) and Al_(12)Mg_(17) phases, have also been reported to form during Al-Mg dissimilar FSW;their amount and thickness depend on the heat input involved;thus,the weld parameters used. Since the heat dissipated in the material during the welding process significantly affects the amount of IMCs,the heat input during FSW should be kept as low as possible to control and reduce the amount of IMCs. This review aims to critically discuss and evaluate the studies conducted in the dissimilar Al/Mg FSW through a scientometric analysis and also with a focus on the strategies recently applied to enhance joint quality. The scientometric analysis showed that the main research directions in Mg/Al FSW are the technological weldability of aluminum and magnesium during FSW, structural morphology, and mechanical properties of dissimilar welded joints. Considering the scope of application of the aforementioned joints, the low share of articles dealing with environmental degradation and operational cracking is surprising. This might be attributed to the need for well-developed strategies for obtaining high-quality and sustainable joints for applications. Thus, the second part of this review is conventional, focusing mainly on the new strategies for obtaining high-quality Mg/Al joints. Hepatorenal syndrome (HRS) is a "functional" and reversible form of renal failure that occurs in patients with advanced chronic liver disease. The distinctive hallmark feature of HRS is the intense renal vasoconstriction caused by interactions between systemic and portal hemodynamics. This results in activation of vasoconstrictors and suppression of vasodilators in the renal circulation. Epidemiology, pathophysiology, as well as current and emerging therapies of HRS are discussed in this review.

A uniform experimental design(UED)is an extremely used powerful and efficient methodology for designing experiments with high-dimensional inputs,limited resources and unknown underlying models.A UED enjoys the following two significant advantages:(i)It is a robust design,since it does not require to specify a model before experimenters conduct their experiments;and(ii)it provides uniformly scatter design points in the experimental domain,thus it gives a good representation of this domain with fewer experimental trials(runs).Many real-life experiments involve hundreds or thousands of active factors and thus large UEDs are *** large UEDs using the existing techniques is an NP-hard problem,an extremely time-consuming heuristic search process and a satisfactory result is not *** paper presents a new effective and easy technique,adjusted gray map technique(AgMT),for constructing(nearly)UEDs with large numbers of four-level factors and runs by converting designs with s two-level factors and n runs to(nearly)UEDs with 2^(t−1)s four-level factors and 2tn runs for any t≥0 using two simple transformation *** justifications for the uniformity of the resulting four-level designs are given,which provide some necessary and/or sufficient conditions for obtaining(nearly)uniform four-level *** results show that the AgMT is much easier and better than the existing widely used techniques and it can be effectively used to simply generate new recommended large(nearly)UEDs with four-level factors.

DC-presaturated fault current limiter for high voltage direct current transmission systems

The authors present a 500 kV real-dimension DC-presaturated fault current limiter(PFCL)with a steady-state rated current of 2 kA for limiting large fault current of 8 kA with high rate of *** characteristics of the fault current can be a threat to high voltage direct current(HVDC)transmission systems,and hence PFCL design and performance improvement are investigated through three-dimensional,time-domain,magnetic-field and electric-circuit coupled model using finite element simulation of COMSOL Multi-physics *** nonlinear magnetic characteristics of the soft magnet ensure variable inductance depending on demagnetisation magnetomotive force generated by the line *** DC-biased PFCL can replace the traditional smoothing reactor during the normal operation of the system by controlling the level of *** addition,PFCL is a self-triggered device and therefore it can automatically limit the fault current and reduce its value below the interruption rating of the used HVDC circuit breakers(CBs).Moreover,the rate of rise of the fault current can be controlled to ensure the compatibility with the available type of HVDC *** dynamic performance of PFCL is investigated during fault condition through the fault current clipping ratio and rate of rise of the fault current,and during steady-state operation through the voltage drop across PFCL and its power *** is found that the proposed PFCL presents adequate capability in limiting large fault currents with extremely low values of voltage drop and power losses during the steady-state ***,the switching transient overvoltages that appear at ter-minals of PFCL coils during the fault duration have been successfully suppressed by carefully selected ratings of zinc-oxide surge arresters.

Spectrophotometric Determination of Albendazole Drug in Tablets： Spectroscopic Characterization of the Chargetransfer Solid Complexes

Simple, rapid and reliable method for the determination of albendazole （ABZ） was described. This includes the utility of some π-acceptors such as 2,3-dichloro-5,6-dicyano-p-benzoquinone （DDQ） and 3,6-dichloro-2,5-dihydroxy-p-benzoquinone （p-CLA） for estimation of ABZ drug （act as donor）. The experimental conditions were optimized and the system obeys Beer＇s law for 7.50-80 and 10.00-85.00 ug·mL-1 of ABZ using DDQ and p-CLA, respectively. The molar absorptivity and Sandell sensitivity were calculated to be 1.83× 10^3 and 1.12× 10^3 L·mol ·cm -1 and 2.60 and 3.40 ng·cm -2 using DDQ and p-CLA, respectively. The limits of detection and quantification were calculated to be （7.42 and 6.73） and （9.94 and 4.13） ug·mL-1 using DDQ and p-CLA, respectively. The proposed methods were successfully applied to the determination of ABZ in commercially available dosage forms. The reliability of the assays was established by parallel determination by the official method and recovery studies. The chemical structures of the solid charge-transfer （CT） complexes formed via reaction between ABZ under study and π-acceptors, have been elucidated using elemental analyses （C, H and N）, IR, 1H NMR and mass spectra.

Sea wave energy generators or converters(WECs)have the potential to become a viable technology for clean,renewable energy *** the WEC technologies,the oscillating water columns(OWCs)are the most common WEC devices *** have been studied and developed over many ***-chamber oscillating water columns(MC-OWC)have the potential to have a higher energy conversion when extracting energy in mixed sea states than single-chamber *** the work reported in this paper,physical experiments are carried under regular wave conditions to test the wave power extraction of a fixed MC-OWC small-scale *** Power Take-Off(PTO)of the device is simulated using orifice *** flow characteristics through these orifices are pre-calibrated such that the extracted power can be obtained only using the pressure *** condition effects on the damping of the PTO of the device power extraction are *** test results illustrate that the PTO system damping is critical and affects device performance.
