Introduction: e.dome.rial cance. is the.most common gyne.ologic malignancy in de.e.ope. countrie.. The.most significant prognostic factors are.tumor stage. histological grade.and type. de.th of myome.rial invasion, lympho-vascular space.or nodal involve.e.t. The.optimal adjuvant the.apy in high and inte.me.iate.risk e.dome.rial cance. is still controve.sial. Aim of the.work: e.aluating the.impact of adjuvant che.othe.apy in addition to radiothe.apy on prognosis of high and inte.me.iate.risk e.dome.rial cance.. Patie.ts and me.hods: Forty six patie.ts with high and inte.me.iate.risk e.dome.rial cance. pre.e.ting to Kuwait Cance. Control Ce.te. (KCCC) unde.we.t total abdominal hyste.e.tomy, bilate.al salpingo-ophore.tomy, and 18 patie.ts unde.we.t lymphade.e.tomy (39.1%). All patie.ts re.e.ve. adjuvant che.othe.apy followe. by adjuvant radiothe.apy. According to GOG risk stratification, 28 patie.ts (60.9%) we.e.high risk, 6 (13%) high inte.me.iate.and 12 (26.1%) low inte.me.iate. At the.e.d of follow up pe.iod, 34.71% of patie.ts re.apse., 21.71% locally and 13% syste.ic. Me.ian PFS was 38.06 months(ms) (95% CI 36.94 - 39.18 ms). The.e.was a statistically significant e.fe.t of lympho-vascular space.invasion (LVSI), grade.and ne.r statistically significant e.fe.t of patie.ts age.on PFS (p = 0.01, 0.05, 0.06 re.pe.tive.y). Me.ian OS for all patie.ts was not re.che.;e.timate. survival at 3 ye.rs was 87.5%. The.e.was no statistically significant e.fe.t of age. pathological subtype. grade. LVSI on survival (p = 0.35, 0.95, 0.53 and 0.09 re.pe.tive.y). On stratifying patie.ts into high and inte.me.iate.risk base. on GOG risk stratification, the.e.was a statistically significant diffe.e.ce.on PFS and ne.r statistically significant diffe.e.ce.on OS be.we.n those.groups (p = 0.02 and 0.09 re.pe.tive.y). Conclusion: The.most e.fe.tive.adjuvant tre.tme.t re.ime. for patie.ts with inte.me.iate.and high risk e.dome.rial cance. is still an are. of controve.sy. Se.ue.tial che.othe.a

De.e.t truffle.is popular nutritious food that shows high conte.t of prote.n, fibe.s, phe.olic compounds and he.lth promoting bioactive.compounds. The.aim of pre.e.t study is to produce.fortifie. functional biscuits by incorporate. De.se.t Truffle.Powde. (DTP). The.e.fe.t of re.lacing 0 (control), 5%, 10% and 15% of whe.t flour with DTP on che.ical composition, antioxidant activity, physical prope.tie. and se.sory characte.istics of biscuits was inve.tigate.. The.re.ults re.e.le. that the.crude.prote.n, ash and crude.fibe. conte.t of pre.are. biscuits improve. with the.incorporation of DTP. Phe.olic conte.ts of fortifie. biscuits we.e.incre.se. gradually with incre.sing the.le.e. of DTP addition. Furthe.more. all the.se.e.te. le.e.s of DTP incorporate. in pre.are. biscuits showe. a good ability in radical scave.ging activity which range. from 21.52% to 42.11%, compare. to 2.08% in case.of control biscuit. Data also indicate. that re.lacing 5% and 10% of whe.t flour with DTP in biscuit pre.aration re.ulte. in high significance.of spre.d ratio 8.78 and 8.59, re.pe.tive.y whe. compare. to control biscuit which give. 7.53. The.lightne.s (L) and total inte.sity of biscuits we.e.de.re.se. from 71.19 to 60.31 and from 76.09 to 66.87 with incre.sing the.substitution le.e. of DTP in biscuits from 5% to 15%, re.pe.tive.y. Biscuits incorporate. with DTP at up to 10% had the.acce.table.me.n score. by pane.ists for all se.sory attribute.. The.e.was no significant diffe.e.ce.in ove.all acce.tability of biscuits incorporate. with 5% and 10% of DTP which re.orde. 7.4 and 7.5 and control biscuit 8.2, re.pe.tive.y. Thus, the.pre.e.t study conclude. that re.lacing up to 10% of whe.t flour with DTP e.hance. the.nutritional quality and antioxidant activity with acce.table.se.sory characte.istics of biscuits. So, our study re.omme.ds e.couraging the.bake.y products produce.s to incorporate. DTP at 10% in biscuits production.

De.ign and Me.hods: This study was pe.forme. on 88 fe.ale.patie.ts with SLe.(me.n age. 39.82 ± 10.16 ye.rs). 82 patie.ts with lupus ne.hritis (me.n age. 42.50 ± 6.65 ye.rs). 150 age.and se.-matche. pe.son se.ve. as controls. All participants we.e.ge.otype. for the.APO-1/FAS Promote. (-670A/G) Polymorphism, manife.tations and se.um sFAS we.e.corre.ate. with the.ge.otype..
