The exploitation of different plant m.terials for the biosynthesis of nanoparticles is considered a green technology because it does not involve any harm.ul chem.cals. In this study, iron oxide nanoparticles（Fe3O4-NPs） were synthesized using a com.letely green biosynthetic m.thod by reduction of ferric chloride solution using brown seaweed water extracts. The two seaweeds Padina pavonica（Linnaeus） Thivy and Sargassum.acinarium.Linnaeus） Setchell 1933 were used in this study. The algae extract was used as a reductant of Fe Cl3 resulting in the phytosynthesis of Fe3O4-NPs. The phytogenic Fe3O4-NPs were characterized by surface plasm.n band observed close to 402 nm.and 415 nm. the obtained Fe3O4-NPs are in the particle sizes ranged from.10 to 19.5 nm.and 21.6 to 27.4 nm.for P. pavonica and S. acinarium. respectively. The strong signals of iron were reported in their corresponding EDX spectra. FTIR analyses revealed that sulphated polysaccharides are the m.in biom.lecules in the algae extracts that do dual function of reducing the Fe Cl3 and stabilizing the phytogenic Fe3O4-NPs. The biosynthesized Fe3O4-NPs were entrapped in calcium.alginates beads and used in Pb adsorption experim.nts. The biosynthesized Fe3O4-NPs alginate beads via P. pavonica（Linnaeus） Thivy had high capacity for biorem.val of Pb（91%） while that of S. acinarium.Linnaeus） Setchell 1933 had a capacity of（78%） after 75 *** values of the process param.ters for the m.xim.m.Pb rem.val efficiency by Fe3O4-NPs alginate beads synthesized via P. pavonica（Linnaeus） Thivy were also estim.ted.

In the present work,an incom.ressible sm.othed particle hydrodynam.c(SPH)m.thod is introduced to sim.late water-soil-structure *** the current calculation,the water is m.delled as a Newtonian *** soil is m.delled in two different *** the first case,the granular m.terial is considered as a fluid where a Bingham.type constitutive m.del is proposed based on m.hr-Coulom. yield-stress criterion,and the viscosity is derived from.the cohesion and friction *** addition,the fictitious suspension layers between water and soil depending on the concentration of soil are *** the second case,Hooke’s law introduces elastic *** ISPH,the pressure is evaluated by solving the pressure Poisson equation using a sem.-im.licit algorithm.based on the projection m.thod and an eddy viscosity for water is m.delled by a large eddy sim.lation with the Sm.gorinsky *** the proposed ISPH m.thod,the pressure is stabilized to sim.late the m.ltiphase flow between soil and *** experim.nts for water-soil suspension flow of Louvain erosional dam.break with flat soil foundation,is sim.lated and validated using 3D-ISPH *** between water-soil interactions with different solid structures are *** results revealed that,the suspension layers with the Bingham.m.del of soil gives m.re accurate results in the experim.nt as com.ared to the case of the Bingham.m.del without suspension *** addition,the elastic soil m.del by the Hooke’s law can sim.late soil hum. accurately as com.ared to the Bingham.*** the sim.lations,avoiding erosion behind the structure for preventing the structure break during flood are investigated by using an extended structure or a wedge structure.

Trusses used for roof support in coal m.nes are constructed of two grouted bolts installed at opposing forty-five degree angles into the roof and a cross m.m.er that ties the angled bolts together. The load on the cross m.m.er is vertical, which is transverse to the longitudinal axis, and therefore the cross m.m.er is loaded in the weakest direction. Laboratory tests were conducted to determ.ne the vertical load capacity and deflection of three different types of cross m.m.ers. Single-point load tests, with the load applied in the center of the specim.n and double-point load tests, with a span of 2.4 m. were conducted. For the single-point load configuration, the yield of the 25 m. solid bar cross m.m.er was nom.nally 98 kN of vertical load, achieved at 42 cm.of deflection. For cable cross m.m.ers, yield was not achieved even after 45 cm.of deflection. Peak vertical loads were about 89 kN for 17 m. cables and67 kN for the 15 m. cables. For the double-point load configurations, the 25 m. solid bar cross m.m.ers yielded at 150 kN of vertical load and 25 cm.of deflection. At 25 cm.of deflection individual cable strands started breaking at 133 and 111 kN of vertical load for the 17 and 15 m. cable cross m.m.ers respectively.

North Africa is one of the m.st regions im.acted by water *** im.lem.ntation of controlled drainage(CD)in the northern Nile River delta of Egypt is one strategy to decrease irrigation,thus alleviating the negative im.act of water *** study investigated the im.acts of CD at different levels on drainage outflow,water table level,nitrate loss,grain yield,and water use efficiency(WUE)of various wheat *** levels of CD,i.e.,0.4 m.below the soil surface(CD-0.4)and 0.8 m.below the soil surface(CD-0.8),were com.ared with subsurface free drainage(SFD)at 1.2 m.below the soil surface(SFD-1.2).Under each drainage treatm.nt,four wheat cultivars were grown for two growing seasons(Novem.er 2018–April 2019 and Novem.er 2019–April 2020).Com.ared with SFD-1.2,CD-0.4 and CD-0.8 decreased irrigation water by 42.0%and 19.9%,drainage outflow by 40.3%and 27.3%,and nitrate loss by 35.3%and 20.8%,*** CD treatm.nts,plants absorbed a significant portion of their evapotranspiration from.shallow groundwater(22.0%and 8.0%for CD-0.4 and CD-0.8,respectively).All wheat cultivars positively responded to CD treatm.nts,and the highest grain yield and straw yield were obtained under CD-0.4 *** the initial soil salinity as a reference,the soil salinity under CD-0.4 treatm.nt increased two-fold by the end of the second growing season without negative im.acts on wheat *** the drainage system.by raising the outlet elevation and considering shallow groundwater contribution to crop evapotranspiration prom.ted water-saving and *** responses could be obtained based on the different plant tolerance to salinity and water stress,crop characteristics,and growth ***-specific soil salinity m.nagem.nt practices will be required to avoid soil salinization due to the adoption of long-term.shallow groundwater in Egypt and other sim.lar agroecosystem..

BACKGROUND Although breast m.lk is ideal for newborns,in som. cases,it is replaced with cow’s m.lk,which contains proteins that increase the risk of cow’s m.lk protein allergy(Cm.A).AIm.To evaluate Cm.A prevalence in Bahrain and com.are clinical characteristics of children with im.unoglobulin E(IgE)-and non-IgE-m.diated *** This retrospective cohort study exam.ned children with Cm.A diagnosed at the pediatric gastroenterology outpatient clinic of the Salm.niya m.dical Com.lex,Bahrain,between 2014 and 2022,and assessed Cm.A *** presentations,laboratory findings,dietary m.difications,and outcom.s were com.ared between children with IgE-m.diated and non-IgE-m.diated *** variables were com.ared using Fisher’s exact test or Pearson’sχ2 test,whereas continuous variables were com.ared using Student’s t-test or the m.nn-Whitney U *** Of 8332 patients,6022(72.3%)adhered to their *** them.618(10.3%)were suggested of having Cm.A and 595(96.3%)were included;Cm.A prevalence was 2%.m.st patients were Bahraini(93.8%)and m.les(55.3%).Non-IgE-m.diated type accounted for 77.3%cases and IgE-m.diated type,22.7%.IgE-m.diated Cm.A presented m.re in boys(P=0.030),and later in life(5.1 m.nths±4.5 m.nths vs 4.2 m.nths±4.2 m.nths,P=0.016,95%CI:0.08-1.73),had m.re associated diseases(Pm.re cutaneous(P=0.024)and respiratory(P=0.003)m.nifestations,severe sym.tom.[rash/dry skin(P=0.031),facial swelling/angioedem.(P=0.003),failure to thrive(P=0.013),apparent life-threatening event(Pm.diated *** patients were exclusively fed cow m.lk form.la(50.3%).The am.no acid-based form.la(AAF)was m.st prescribed(60.5%)with no difference between the two types(P=0.173).Although breastfeeding was recom.ended to 49.6%,only 8.2%were exclusively ***-m.diated Cm.A was associated with a longer follow-up duration than non-IgE-m.diated Cm.A(17.3 m.nths±14.0 m.

New tungsten ion source is produced by using single and double-pulse laser ablation system. Com.ined collinear Nd：YAG laser beam.（266＋1064 nm. are optim.zed to focus on the sam.le in air. Optim.zation of the experim.ntal param.ters is achieved to enhance the signal-to-noise ratio of the em.ssion spectra. The velocity distribution of the em.tted plasm. cloud is carefully m.asured. The influences of the potential difference between the bias electrodes, laser wavelength and intensity on the current signal are also studied. The results show that the increase in the tungsten ion velocity under the double-pulse lasers causes the output current signal to increase by about three folds. The electron density and tem.erature are calculated by using the Stark-broadened line profile of tungsten line and Boltzm.nn plot m.thod of the upper energy levels, respectively. The signal intensity dependence of the tungsten ion angular distribution is also analyzed. The results indicate that the double-pulse laser ablation configuration is m.re potent technique for producing m.re m.tal ion source deposition, thin film.form.tion, and activated plasm.-facing com.onent m.terial.
