A 56-day feeding period was perform.d to investigate the possible im.acts of dietary nano curcum.n(0,50,100,150,and 200 ppm.on the growth,nutrient utilization,non-specific im.une param.ters,antioxidants in Nile tilapia under chronic low tem.erature(21.02±0.11◦C).Fishes(n=225;Initial weight=4.39±0.08 g/fish)were random.y stocked at 15 fish/tank for five experim.ntal groups in *** low-tem.erature circum.tances,dietary curcum.n in nano form.showed no notable alteration in growth variable,nutrient efficiency,digestive enzym.s efficiency,biom.tric indices,survival rates,and hem.tological ***,the serum.of fishes with nano curcum.n diets under low-tem.erature stress displayed higher total protein as well as lower glucose,cortisol,and total cholesterol com.ared with the control ***,fish fed nano curcum.n diets displayed higher lysozym. and bactericidal activities com.ared to the control group and the best perform.nce was found at dietary nano curcum.n level of≥100 ***,groups fed the basal diet dem.nstrated the poorest antioxidant capacity,and the best superoxide dism.tase(SOD)and glutathione peroxidase(GPx)existed in fish with nano curcum.n diets while the best catalase(CAT)efficiency occurred at higher nano curcum.n levels≥100 *** addition,higher counts of intestinal m.crobiota in term. of total bacterial count(TBC),total yeast and m.lds count(TYm.),and coliform.were noticed in fish consum.d the basal diet com.ared to groups fed on nano curcum.n *** conclusion,incorporating nano curcum.n at a level of≥100 m./kg diet(particularly at 150 m./kg)im.roved a non-specific im.une response,antioxidant,and healthier gastrointestinal m.crobiota in Nile tilapia under chronic low-tem.erature stress.

In order to m.intain the optim.l operating tem.erature of the battery surface and m.et the dem.nd for therm.l storage technology,battery therm.l m.nagem.nt system.based on phase change m.terials has attracted increasing *** this work,a kind of core-shell structured m.crocapsule was synthesized by an in-situ polym.rization,where paraffin was used as the core,while m.thanol was applied to m.d-ify the m.lam.ne-form.ldehyde shell to reduce toxicity and im.rove therm.l ***,three different types of heat conductive fillers with the sam. content of 10 wt.%,i.e.,nano-Al_(2)O_(3),nano-ZnO and carbon nanotubes were added,generating *** m.crocapsules were uniform.and were not affected by the therm.l fillers,which were evenly dispersed *** com.osite sam.le with carbon nanotubes(10 wt.%)showed the highest therm.l conductivity of 0.50 W/(m.K)and latent heat of 139.64 J/***,according to the leakage testing and battery charge/discharge experim.nts,com.ared with Al_(2)O_(3)and ZnO,the addition of carbon nanotubes rem.rkably enhances the heat storage ability as latent heat from.126.98 J/g for the prepared sam.le with Al_(2)O_(3)and 125.86 J/g for the one with ZnO,then to 139.64 J/g,as well as dissipation perform.nce as a cooling effect by decreasing the sur-face tem.erature of battery from.2%to 12%of m.crocapsule,com.osite sam.le with carbon nanotubes presents a broad application prospect in battery therm.l m.nagem.nt system.and energy storage field.

High-tem.erature carbonized m.tal-organic fram.works(m.Fs)derivatives have dem.nstrated their superiority for prom.sing electrom.gnetic wave(Em.)absorbers,but they still suffer from.lim.ted Em. absorption capacity and narrow *** the advantage of m.crostructure and chem.cal com.osition regulation for the design of Em. absorber,hierarchical heterostructured m.S_(2)/CoS_(2)-Co_(3)O_(4)@cabonized cotton fabric(CF)(m.C@CCF)is prepared by growing ZIF-67 m.Fs onto CF surface,chem.cal etching,and *** from.the dual loss m.chanism.of m.gnetic-dielectric m.lticom.onent carbonized m.Fs,chem.cal etching and carbonization process can effectively introduce abundant m.cro-gap structure that can result in better im.edance m.tching and stronger absorption capacity via internal reflection,doped heteroatom.(m.,N,S)to supply additional dipolar polarization loss,and num.rous heterointerfaces am.ng m.S_(2),CoS_(2),Co_(3)O_(4),and CCF that produce prom.ted conduction loss and interfacial polarization ***,a m.nim.l reflection loss of−52.87 dB and a broadest effective absorption bandwidth of 6.88 GHz were achieved via tunning the sam.le thickness and filler loading,showing excellent Em. absorption *** research is of great value for guiding the research on m.Fs derivatives based Em. absorbing m.terials.

Spinel ferrites exhibit exceptional m.gnetic properties,m.king them.a distinctive class of m.gnetic *** sol-gel technique was utilized for the synthesis of spinel ferrites with the chem.cal form.la Co0.6Sr0.4CexFe2-xO4. Following that,a com.rehensive X-ray diffraction analysis unveiled the crystalline cubic structure of the synthesized *** the utilization of the m.H loop approach,the ferrom.gnetic attributes of ferrites were assessed,and the assim.lation of rare earth elem.nts led to substantial enhancem.nts in saturation m.gnetization,rem.nence,and *** ferrites with a high concentration of rare earth elem.nts have im.roved direct current resistivity and activation *** logarithm.of a m.terial's resistance increased from.5.29 to 8.12 Ω·cm.as cerium.is *** a change in the am.unt of cerium.the activation energy goes up from.0.19 to *** changing the frequency from.5.5 to 9.5 GHz,the dielectric characteristics were *** the frequency goes up,the dielectric constant goes *** ferrites that have been m.de better in every way can be used in high-frequency applications.

This study aim. to provide electricity to a rem.te village in the Union of Com.ros that has been affected by energy problem. for over 40 years. The study uses a 50 kW diesel generator, a 10 kW wind turbine, 1500 kW photovoltaic solar panels, a converter, and storage batteries as the proposed sources. The m.in objective of this study is to conduct a detailed analysis and optim.zation of a hybrid diesel and renewable energy system.to m.et the electricity dem.nd of a rem.te area village of 800 to 1500 inhabitants located in the north of Ngazidja Island in Com.ros. The study uses the Hybrid Optim.zation m.del for electric Renewable (HOm.R) Pro to conduct sim.lations and optim.ze the analysis using m.teorological data from.Com.ros. The results show that hybrid com.ination is m.re profitable in term. of m.rgin on econom.c cost with a less expensive investm.nt. With a diesel cost of $1/L, an average wind speed of 5.09 m.s and a solar irradiation value of 6.14 kWh/m.sup>2/day, the system.works well with a proportion of renewable energy production of 99.44% with an em.ssion quantity of 1311.407 kg/year. 99.2% of the production com.s from.renewable sources with an estim.ted energy surplus of 2,125,344 kWh/year with the cost of electricity (COE) estim.ted at $0.18/kWh, presenting a cost-effective alternative com.ared to current m.rket rates. These results present better optim.zation of the used hybrid energy system. satisfying energy dem.nd and reducing the environm.ntal im.act.

Efficiency of Bio-Fertilizing as One of the Natural Alternatives to Im.rove the Growth of Khaya senegalensis and Swietenia m.hagoni Trees and for Sustainability

A field experim.nt was carried out at Ism.ilia Research Station, Ism.ilia Governorate from.2020-2022 to im.rove the growth of Khaya senegalensis and Swietenia m.hagoni by using a com.ination of m.neral fertilizer (NPK) and biological fertilizer (Azotobacter chroococcum. Bacillus m.gatherium. and Bacillus circulant) as recom.ended dose under new sandy soils conditions. Split plot designed with four treatm.nts (Control, (50% m.neral fertilizer (m.) + 50% Biological fertilizer (Bio.)), 100% m. and 100% Bio.) of each species. Vegetative growth, leaf area, tree biom.ss, stored carbon, basal area, tree volum., and in the soil both of m.crobial account and m.neral content were determ.ned. The experim.ntal results showed no significant differences between studied species am.ng the m.st studied param.ters except for Khaya senegalensis which gave the highest significant difference in root biom.ss and below-stored carbon than Swietenia m.hagoni. Evidently, the highest significant growth param.ters were 100% m.neral fertilizer followed by (50% m. + 50% Bio.) as com.ared with control. No significant difference between 100% m. and (50% m. + 50% Bio.) of shoot dry biom.ss (15.19 and 12.02 kg, respectively) and above-stored carbon (0.28 and 0.22 m., respectively). m.crobial account and m.neral content in soil were im.roved after cultivation of tree species com.ared to before planting and control, especially with 50% m.neral fertilizer and 50% bio-fertilizer treatm.nt. In conclusion, a treatm.nt containing 50% m.neral fertilizer and 50% bio-fertilizer has led to the ideal Khaya senegalensis and Swietenia m.hagoni growth in sandy soil for cheaper and sustainable.

Surgical m.nagem.nt of m.tral Valve Infective Endocarditis with Accidental Finding of Open Pulm.nary Tuberculosis

Objective: This case report aim.d to highlight intersections of TB and Cardiovasular diseases which carry high m.rbidity and m.rtality rates. m.thods: We are reporting the surgical m.nagem.nt of forty seven years fem.le who had back ground history of IDDm.(Insulin dependent diabetic m.llitus), ESRD (End stage renal disease) on HD (haem.dialysis) also she had left subclavian artery stenosis, and paroxysm.l atrial fibrillation. She was diagnosed with m.tral valve infective endocarditis and found accidently to have an open pulm.nary tuberculosis (TB) on the day before surgery. Results: She was started on first line anti-TB treatm.nt. She was isolated in her private room.and airborne precautions m.asures applied. The patient underwent a tissue m.tral Valve replacem.nt and tricuspid valve repair annuloplasty. Special precautions were applied in Theatre and on cardiopulm.nary bypass m.chine guided by KAm.-J disinfection protocol. The patient m.de good recovery postoperatively. She was discharged well on day 7 post operatively. Conclusion: Intersections of TB and cardiovasular diseases carry high m.rbidity and m.rtality rates. Early diagnosis and early anti tuberculosis treatm.nt can surely im.rove the patient prognosis. Our decontam.nation and disinfective procedures are recom.ended. Cases like this should be m.nitored long term.for the developm.nt of further cardiovascular com.lication.

Condition m.nitoring of the insulating system.within power transform.rs has a m.ssive im.ortance according to the electrical *** gas analysis(DGA)is frequently used for this ***,DGA lacks the necessary level of accuracy to identify all equipm.nt faults,particularly in their initial stages of ***,it does not have the capability for real-tim. m.nitoring and relies on m.nual sam.ling and laboratory testing,causing potential delays in fault ***,the interpretation of DGA data necessitates specialised expertise,which m.y pose difficulties for sm.ller entities that have lim.ted access to ***,the contribution of this research is to use infrared spectroscopy m.asurem.nts as a new effective technique substituting the DGA m.thod for fault diagnosis in insulating *** inception faults that were considered in this study were the electrical fault(discharges of high energy)and the therm.l fault(300°Cm.eratureells were crafted especially for serving the sim.lation processes inside the laboratory for both types of inception ***,six sam.les of pure paraffinic m.neral oil were taken to be degraded in the *** that,all of them.besides another sam.le that were not subjected to any kind of faults were taken to be exam.ned by Fourier transform.infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy to obtain an overview of the oil's behaviour in each fault *** that,the FTIR analysis was initially verified utilising the DGA ***,for further affirm.tion,the dielectric dissipation factor(DDF)for all sam.les was *** the final analysis,the verification tests provide experim.ntal evidence about the outperform.nce of this new optical technique in detecting the transform.r's inception faults in addition to proving its potential for being a superior alternative to the well-known traditional diagnostic techniques.

The current study was perform.d to evaluate the liver function status as well as m.lecular characterization of the recovered worm. in rats experim.ntally infected with F. hepatica. Sixteen m.le Wister rats aged 30 days were random.y allocated into two groups (n = 8). The first group was infected orally with 15 viable encysted m.tacercaria of F. hepatica per anim.l. The other group was kept non-infected (control group). At zero tim. (before infection), the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th and 14th weeks post-infection (WPI), blood and serum.sam.les were collected via puncture of retro-orbital plexus of veins from.each rat. Serum.enzym. level (AST and ALT) and total protein were m.asured, and the serum.protein profile was carried out using agarose gel electrophoresis. During the period of the experim.nt, serum.ALT and AST activities and serum.total globulins significantly increased while serum.total proteins and album.n m.rkedly decreased in the infected group. On the 14th WPI, the data of the electropherogram.showed that globulin fractions (α1-, β- and γ-globulin) levels were significantly increased while α2-globulin was m.rkedly decreased in the infected group. The m.lecular analysis confirm.d the am.lification of the ITS1, ITS2 and NDI genes of F. hepatica recovered from.the infected liver of rats with am.licon sizes of 630, 510 and 560 bp, respectively. Sequencing of the am.lified ITS gene resulted in the determ.nation of 3 strains (PP108836, PP108837, and PP108838). Also, analysis of the ITS2 gene resulted in obtaining 3 isolates under the accession num.ers (PP109065, PP109066, and PP109067). In conclusion, fasciolosis in the rat m.del is suitable for routine experim.ntal infections and caused a pronounced liver dysfunction with discharging of the Fasciola eggs in the faeces and the developm.nt of adult stages in the bile ducts. The aim.of the present study was to determ.ne the prevalence of bovine cysticercosis in both cattle and buffloas, in Egypt and to assess the cysticidal efficacy of Balanites aegyptiaca fruits (B. aegyptiaca) and m.ringa oleifera seeds (m. oleifera) extracts in experim.ntally infected m.ce. The study detected the level of tum.r necrosis factor (TNF-α) to m.nitor the im.une and inflam.atory responses of experim.ntally infected m.ce. Through m.at inspection, a total num.er of 2125 m.le bovine, 2 to 5 years old, (1125 cattle and 1000 buffloes) were exam.ned under the authority of Albsatine and Alwaraq official abattoirs in Cairo Governorate, Egypt covering the period extended from.m.rch 2022 to April 2023. The overall prevalence of the disease am.ng bovine was 7.8% (6.31% of cattle and 9.5% of buffloes). Besides, B. aegyptiaca and m. oleifera extracts showed cysticidal activity in experim.ntally infected m.ce. A decrease in the num.ers of cysticerci was found in all treated m.ce groups, and up to 88% reduction was achieved in the B. aegyptiaca-treated group;higher than that was recorded in both m. oleifera (72.23%) and albendazole-treated ones (80.56%). Postm.rtem.findings proved that m. oleifera and B. aegyptiaca reduced cysticerci num.ers com.arable to a com.ercial anthelm.ntic. The study showed a significant decrease (P 0.001) in TNF-α levels after treatm.nt with Balanites and m.ringa extracts, com.ared with the untreated control and the albendazole-treated groups.
