This research was conducted in the Qassim region, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The goal of this research is to determine the percentage of silicon in the Rub al-Khali desert. Samples were collected from four cities located in the Al-Qassim Region of Saudi Arabia (Uyun Al-Jawa, Al-Fuwailiq, Al-Sulaibiya, and Al-Qawara), from three distinct depths (the earth’s surface, 50 cm, and 100 cm). The percentages of silicon in these places vary between the highest value for silicon dioxide, which is 74.47 m/m%, and 34.8 m/m% for silicon in Al-Qawara city at a depth of 100 cm. We used an x-ray fluorescence (XRF) instrument to evaluate the samples. There are high percentage of both silica and silicon in the Nafud desert. Studies have shown that these ratios can help investors benefit from an element of Silicon and silicon dioxide, so the sands of the Nafud desert is sufficient for extracting Silicon and silica in huge quantities. This may transform the Kingdom into a leading country in the global computer technology industry that depends on silicon extracted from the desert sands, the most important of which are microcomputer data processing devices.

Failure detection is an essential task in industrial systems for preventing costly downtime and ensuring the seamlessoperation of the system. Current industrial processes are getting smarter with the emergence of Industry ***, various modernized industrial processes have been equipped with quite a few sensors to collectprocess-based data to find faults arising or prevailing in processes along with monitoring the status of *** diagnosis of rotating machines serves a main role in the engineering field and industrial production. Dueto the disadvantages of existing fault, diagnosis approaches, which greatly depend on professional experienceand human knowledge, intellectual fault diagnosis based on deep learning (DL) has attracted the researcher’sinterest. DL reaches the desired fault classification and automatic feature learning. Therefore, this article designs a Gradient Optimizer Algorithm with Hybrid Deep Learning-based Failure Detection and Classification (GOAHDLFDC)in the industrial environment. The presented GOAHDL-FDC technique initially applies continuous wavelettransform (CWT) for preprocessing the actual vibrational signals of the rotating machinery. Next, the residualnetwork (ResNet18) model was exploited for the extraction of features from the vibration signals which are thenfed into theHDLmodel for automated fault detection. Finally, theGOA-based hyperparameter tuning is performedtoadjust the parameter valuesof theHDLmodel *** experimental result analysis of the GOAHDL-FD Calgorithm takes place using a series of simulations and the experimentation outcomes highlight the better resultsof the GOAHDL-FDC technique under different aspects.

Assessment of plant diversity of endemic species of the Saharo-Arabian region in Egypt

Savanna, semi-deserts, and hot deserts characterize the Saharo-Arabian region, which includes Morocco, Mauretania, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Palestine, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Yemen, southern Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and northern India. Its neighboring regions, the Sudano-Zambezian region belonging to the Paleotropical Kingdom and the Mediterranean and Irano-Turanian regions included in the Holarctic Kingdom, share a large portion of their flora with the Saharo-Arabian region. Despite the widespread acknowledgment of the region's global importance for plant diversity, an up to date list of the Saharo-Arabian endemics is still unavailable. The available data are frequently insufficient or out of date at both the whole global and the national scales. Therefore, the present study aims at screening and verifying the Saharo-Arabian endemic plants and determining the phytogeographical distribution of these taxa in the Egyptian flora. Hence, a preliminary list of 429 Saharo-Arabian endemic plants in Egypt was compiled from the available literature. Indeed, by excluding the species that were recorded in any countries or regions outside the Saharo-Arabian region based on different literature, database reviews, and websites, the present study has reduced this number to 126 taxa belonging to 87 genera and 37 families. Regarding the national geographic distribution, South Sinai is the richest region with 83 endemic species compared with other eight phytogeographic regions in Egypt, followed by the Isthmic Desert(the middle of Sinai Peninsula, 53 taxa). Sahara regional subzone(SS1) distributes all the 126 endemic species, Arabian regional subzone(SS2) owns 79 taxa, and Nubo-Sindian subzone(SS3) distributes only 14 endemics. Contagious bovine Pleuropneumonia (CBPP) is an infectious and highly contagious respiratory disease of cattle and water buffalo, caused by the Mycoplasma mycoides subspecies mycoides. It induces significant economic losses and leads to a severe livestock production problem, negatively influencing people’s livelihoods of affected countries. In Somalia, there is no updated data on the prevalence and distribution of the disease. Hence, a descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted from September 2022 to June 2023 in different villages under the Afgoye District of lower Shabelle region, Somalia. The main purpose of this study is to assess the sero-prevalence and identify the associated risk factors for the occurrence of the disease. In this study, villages, age, sex, breed, and body condition were considered as risk factors. A total of 90 blood samples were collected and tested in the laboratory using the Anti-CBPP Elisa kit test. Out of 90 serum samples from herd cattle, 32 were positive, resulting in an overall prevalence of 35.5%. In addition, we found a statistically significant variation between the prevalence of the disease and factors such as sex, age, body condition and breeds. In summary, the overall prevalence of Contagious bovine pleuropneumonia in this study area is worth to be considered because there is a low quality of health care and less awareness of the Contagious bovine Pleuropneumonia effects on herds, which warrants the official authorities to act and follow appropriate preventive and control measures to reduce the incidence of the disease and generate appropriate controlling and prevention measures in all regions of Somalia.

The Zeit sand reservoir is one of the most prolific formations at Northwestern side of the Gulf of Suez. In this research we will try to coordinate between electrical， petrophysical properties， depositional environment and facies discrimination in order to evaluate the hydrocarbon potentiality of studied Zeit formation. The statistical parameters for potassium (K)， thorium (Th) and Th/U ratio contents have a general increase towards northwestern parts， whereas uranium (U) content has a general increase towards southeastern parts. The sandstone facies is distinguished from the other facies by its thorium content >4 ppm. U has high carbonate content (U ≥1 ppm). Rocks’ electrical properties vary greatly depending on a number of factors. Electrical measurements were taken at frequencies range of (5×10-4Hz–100 kHz) for fully saturated samples (clayey sandstone) with NaCl (20 gm/Littre). As salinity， clay content， and frequency increase， consequently does the electrical properties. The continental condition are present in northwestern part (back-sea) which is distinguished by high K percent， high Th， high Th/U ratio， and low U contents. Low K， Th， and Th/U ratio contents， with high U contents， characterize the marine depositional environment that existed around the east and southeastern parts (fore-sea coincide with the dipping of strata). Furthermore， the studied Zeit Formation has good petrophysical properties that coincide with marine conditions. The middle and eastern parts (around ISS-94 and CSS-288) is a good reservoir (porosity 36%–39%， shale content <15%， hydrocarbon saturation 71%–92%， and net pay thickness 17–63 feet).

The Pennsylvanian unconformity,which is a detrital surface,separates the beds of the Permian-aged strata from the Lower Paleozoic in the Central Basin *** data interpretation indicates that the unconformity is an angular unconformity,overlying multiple normal faults,and accompanied with a thrust fault which maximizes the region's structural ***,the Pennsylvanian angular unconformity creates pinch-outs between the beds above and *** computed the spectral decomposition and reflector convergence attributes and analyzed them to characterize the angular unconformity and *** spectral decomposition attribute divides the broadband seismic data into different spectral bands to resolve thin beds and show thickness *** contrast,the reflector convergence attribute highlights the location and direction of the pinch-outs as they dip south at angles between 2and 6.After reviewing findings from RGB blending of the spectrally decomposed frequencies along the Pennsylvanian unconformity,we observed channel-like features and multiple linear bands in addition to the faults and *** can be inferred that the identified linear bands could be the result of different lithologies associated with the tilting of the beds,and the faults may possibly influence hydrocarbon migration or act as a flow barrier to entrap hydrocarbon *** identification of this angular unconformity and the associated features in the study area are vital for the following reasons:1)the unconformity surface represents a natural stratigraphic boundary;2)the stratigraphic pinch-outs act as fluid flow connectivity boundaries;3)the areal extent of compartmentalized reservoirs'boundaries created by the angular unconformity are better defined;and 4)fault displacements are better understood when planning well locations as faults can be flow barriers,or permeability conduits,depending on facies heterogeneity and/or seal effectiveness of a fault,which c
