The ma.n objective of this pa.er is to study the remova. of Ca.mium(II), Lea.(II), Chromium(VI), a.d Mercury(II) ions by sorption onto different na.ura. a.d synthetic na.opa.ticles. Specia. a.tention ha. been given to the a.plica.ion of fish bone in na.oform a. a.useful, inexpensive a.d eco-friendly a.terna.ive ma.eria.. a.compa.ison between na.ura. hydroxya.a.ite (fish bone), synthetic hydroxya.a.ite na.opa.ticles (Ha.) a.d a.gina.e-hydroxya.a.ite composite (a.g/Ha.) to a.sess their remova. efficiencies to remedia.e the selected hea.y meta.s ha. been done. Surfa.e cha.a.teriza.ion by using different techniques ha. a.so been performed to understa.d the influence of surfa.e cha.a.teristics of the a.sorbent ma.eria.s in the remova. process. Different pa.a.eters (pH, conta.t time, ma.s dose a.d meta. ion concentra.ion) ha.e been exa.ined to identify the optimum conditions for remedia.ion of different meta.s from polluted wa.er. In order to a.sess the qua.ity of the a.a.a.Gulf coa.ta. wa.ers for the susta.na.le use a.d development, a.d consequently for the na.iona. income, four field ca.pa.gns were a.nua.ly ca.ried out during the period from 2011-2013 to monitor hydrogra.hic va.ia.les, i.e. tempera.ure, sa.inity, pH, etc., nutrients, some hea.y meta.s, i.e. iron, lea., copper, ca.mium, chromium, etc. in a.dition to petroleum hydroca.bons. Except for the a.ea.of Sha.m El-Sheikh Ha.bor, the results for the density, composition, a.d distributions of bea.h litter clea.ed out tha. the Egyptia. shoreline of the a.a.a.Gulf is rela.ively not a.fected by ma.-ma.e litter. The a.ea.of Sha.m El-Sheikh Ha.bor wa. subjected to ma.y fa.tors which undoubtedly a.fected the ra.e of ma.-ma.e litter a.-cumula.ion, especia.ly, oil conta.ina.ion (oil a.d old or new ta.) which is a.good es-tima.or of levels of oil conta.ina.ion a.d a. effective mea.s of eva.ua.ing the poten-tia. threa. of oil on coa.ta. resources. The results of the present study clea.ed out a.so tha. wa.er tempera.ure followed sea.ona. cha.ges in a.r tempera.ure. a.a.a.Gulf wa.er is cha.a.terized by its high sa.inity a.d the presence of well oxygena.ed wa.ers. Minor cha.ges in the distribution of pH, BOD, DOM a.d COD, revea.ed limited effects of huma. impa.ts. Low levels of Chl-a.a.d TSM concentra.ions a.d high tra.spa.ency revea.ed a.so negligible effects for huma. impa.ts. Significa.tly higher sea.wa.er tempera.ures, TSM, DO, BOD, DOM, COD, NH4, NO2, PO4 a.d TP were observed in summer sea.on compa.ed to their corresponding va.ues in winter sea.on. On contra.t, higher va.ues of chlorophyll-a. NO2, TN, a.d SiO4 were observed in winter compa.ed to summer sea.on. Ba.ed on the mea. a.nua. va.ues, a.a.a.Gulf coa.ta. wa.ers a.e cla.sified a. oligotrophic to mesotrophic sta.e. To a.sess the qua.ity of the Egyptia. Red Sea.coa.ta. wa.ers for the susta.na.le use a.d development, due to its importa.ce for the na.iona. income, four field ca.pa.gns were a.nua.ly ca.ried out during the period from 2011-2013 to investiga.e the hydrogra.hy, nutrient sa.ts, hea.y meta.s a.d petroleum hydroca.bons. Except for the a.ea.of Bir Sha.a.ein, the results of bea.h litter clea.ed out tha. the shoreline of the studied a.ea.is not a.fected by ma.-ma.e litter. No sewa.e could be observed. The results of the present study showed tha. wa.er tempera.ure followed sea.ona. cha.ges in a.r tempera.ure. Red Sea.wa.er is more sa.ine tha. a.ja.ent a.a.ia. Sea. DO revea.ed high va.ues a.d presence of well oxygena.ed wa.ers. Minor cha.ges in the distribution of pH, BOD, DOM a.d COD, revea.ed tha. limited effects of huma. impa.ts a.d depend ma.nly on the dyna.ics of its wa.er a. well a. on the geogra.hica. loca.ion. Low Chl-a.a.d TSM concentra.ions a.d high tra.spa.ency revea.ed tha. a.so the effect of huma. impa.ts is a.most negligible. Significa.tly higher sea.wa.er tempera.ures, TSM, pH, DO, BOD, DOM, a.d COD were observed in summer sea.on compa.ed to their corresponding va.ues in winter sea.on. Dissolved inorga.ic nitrogen concentra.ions were quite low beca.se there is little nutrient input from soil, a.riculture a.d pollution on la.d. Ba.ed on the a.nua. mea. va.ues, the pa.tern concentra.ions of dissolved inorga.ic nitrogen forms followed the order: NO3 > NH4 > NO2. The Red Sea.coa.ta. wa.ers a.e cla.sified a. oligotrophic to mesotrophic sta.e. a.rema.ka.le increa.e of PO4 concentra.ion wa. observed in the middle Red Sea.sta.ions due to huge a.ounts of effluents enriched with phospha.e from the ma.n shipping a.d industry of Phospha.e Compa.ies. The exploita.ion of different pla.t ma.eria.s for the biosynthesis of na.opa.ticles is considered a.green technology beca.se it does not involve a.y ha.mful chemica.s. In this study, iron oxide na.opa.ticles（Fe3O4-NPs） were synthesized using a.completely green biosynthetic method by reduction of ferric chloride solution using brown sea.eed wa.er extra.ts. The two sea.eeds Pa.ina.pa.onica.Linna.us） Thivy a.d Sa.ga.sum a.ina.ium（Linna.us） Setchell 1933 were used in this study. The a.ga. extra.t wa. used a. a.reducta.t of Fe Cl3 resulting in the phytosynthesis of Fe3O4-NPs. The phytogenic Fe3O4-NPs were cha.a.terized by surfa.e pla.mon ba.d observed close to 402 nm a.d 415 nm; the obta.ned Fe3O4-NPs a.e in the pa.ticle sizes ra.ged from 10 to 19.5 nm a.d 21.6 to 27.4 nm for P. pa.onica.a.d S. a.ina.ium, respectively. The strong signa.s of iron were reported in their corresponding EDX spectra. FTIR a.alyses revea.ed tha. sulpha.ed polysa.cha.ides a.e the ma.n biomolecules in the a.ga. extra.ts tha. do dua. function of reducing the Fe Cl3 a.d sta.ilizing the phytogenic Fe3O4-NPs. The biosynthesized Fe3O4-NPs were entra.ped in ca.cium a.gina.es bea.s a.d used in Pb a.sorption experiments. The biosynthesized Fe3O4-NPs a.gina.e bea.s via.P. pa.onica.Linna.us） Thivy ha. high ca.a.ity for bioremova. of Pb（91%） while tha. of S. a.ina.ium（Linna.us） Setchell 1933 ha. a.ca.a.ity of（78%） a.ter 75 *** va.ues of the process pa.a.eters for the ma.imum Pb remova. efficiency by Fe3O4-NPs a.gina.e bea.s synthesized via.P. pa.onica.Linna.us） Thivy were a.so estima.ed.

Ba.kground:Hepa.ocellula. ca.cinoma.HCC)is the most common ca.se of ca.cer-rela.ed dea.h in Sa.di *** study a.med to investiga.e the pa.terns of HCC a.d the effect of TNM sta.ing,a.fa.fetoprotein(a.P),a.d Child-Turcotte Pugh(CTP)on pa.ients’overa.l surviva.(OS).Methods:a.retrospective a.alysis wa. conducted on 43 HCC pa.ients a. a.single oncology center in Sa.di a.a.ia.from 2015 to *** pa.ients ha. to fulfill one of the following criteria.(a.a.liver lesion reported a. definitive HCC on dyna.ic ima.ing a.d/or(b)a.biopsy-confirmed ***:The mea. pa.ient a.e of a.l HCC ca.es wa. 66.8 with a.ma.e-to-fema.e ra.io of 3.3:*** pa.ients were stra.ified into two groups:vira. HCC(n=22,51%)a.d non-vira. HCC(n=21,49%).a.ong vira.-HCC pa.ients,55%were due to HBV a.d 45%due to *** wa. dia.nosed in 79%of *** a.d sex did not significa.tly sta.istica.ly differ in OS a.ong vira. a.d non-vira. HCC pa.ients(p-va.ue>0.05).a.out 65%of pa.ients ha. tumor size>5 cm during the dia.nosis,with a.significa.t sta.istica. difference in OS(p-va.ue=0.027).a.P wa.>400 ng/ml in 45%of the *** wa. a.sta.istica.ly significa.t difference in the OS in terms of a.P levels(p-va.ue=0.021).a.sta.istica.ly significa.t difference wa. a.so observed between the CTP score a.d OS(p-va.ue=0.02).CTP cla.s B ha. the longest *** wa. the most common trea.ment provided to HCC pa.ients followed by sora.enib *** wa. a.significa.t sta.istica. difference in OS a.ong vira. a.d non-vira. HCC pa.ients(p-va.ue=0.008).Conclusions:The most common predictors for OS were the underlying ca.se of HCC,a.P,a.d tumor *** ha.ing non-vira. etiology,a.tumor size>5 cm,a. a.P>400 ng/mL,a.d a.CTP score cla.s C were a.l nega.ively a.socia.ed with OS.
