Phytochemical and biological studies of Butia capitata *** cultivated in Egypt

Objective:To study the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity of Butia capitata(***)leaf extracts along with phytochemical analysis of the proposed bioactive ***:Different successive extracts of *** *** were prepared with selective organic solvents and screened for their anti-inflammatory activities in tested animals and invitro antioxidant *** extensive phytochemical investigation of the bioactive extracts through paper chromatography,thin layer chromatography,column chromatography,gasliquid chromatography(GLC),high pressure liquid chromatography and spectral ***,ultraviolet,hydrogen and carbon nuclear magnetic resonance,electron ionization-mass spectrometry,heteronuclear multiple bond correlation and heteronuclear multiple quantum correlation were carried out Results:Results showed that different extracts possess promising antioxidant effect and significant anti-inflammatory activity with variable *** results of the phytochemical investigation of the bioactive extracts revealed the presence of volatile substances,lipoidal matter,α-tocopherol,free sugars,polysaccharides and flavonoidal ***:*** leaf extracts were shown to possess variable antioxidant effect,the most promising was methanol extract Both polar and non polar extracts were proved to have anti-inflammatory activity,the non polar extract was superior in this respect The bioactivity of the extracts was ascribed to the presence of flavonoids,sterols andα-tocopherol.

Medieval mosques in Algeria represent an important architectural heritage that deserves to be identifed,studied and *** the period spanning the 7th to 15th centuries,this study investigated medieval mosques in Algeria,spatially and socially,to identify the architectural genotype and to establish whether such mosques present the same topological model that governs their spatial *** study adopted a new approach to spatial analysis of mosques that could be applied to improve understanding of other religious *** syntax as an architectural analysis tool can be used as a qualitative method for drawing justifed graphs and comparing them visually and quantitatively,calculating syntactic measures and integrating visibility graph analysis to identify spatial types,reveal architectural genotypes and explain social *** fndings demonstrate how space syntax with topological analysis and syntactic measures could be used to provide new understanding for architects,students and all those interested in heritage,architecture and design,by uncovering hidden structures and revealing the social logic embodied in the spatial confgurations of mosques.

Hyperuricemia is an alarming issue that contributes to cardiovascular *** acid(UA)level was proven to be related to pulse wave velocity,a marker of arterial stiffness.A hyperuricemia prediction method utilizing photoplethysmogram(PPG)and arteriograph by using machine learning(ML)is *** the literature search,there is no available papers found that relates PPG with UA level even though PPG is highly associated with vessel *** five phases in this research are data collection,signal preprocessing including denoising and signal quality indexes,features extraction for PPG and SDPPG waveform,statistical analysis for feature selection and classification of UA levels using *** PPG to the current arteriograph able to reduce cost and increase the prediction *** and arteriograph data were measured from 113 subjects,and 226 sets of data were collected from the left and right hands of the *** performance of four types of ML,namely,artificial neural network(ANN),linear discriminant analysis(LDA),k-nearest neighbor(kNN),and support vector machine(SVM)in predicting hyperuricemia was *** the total of 98 features extracted,16 features of which showed statistical significance for hyper and *** gives the best performance compared to the other three ML techniques with 91.67%,95.45%,and 94.12%for sensitivity,specificity,and accuracy,*** from PPG and arteriograph able to be used to predict hyperuricemia accurately and *** study is the first to find the relationship of PPG with *** shows a significant relation between PPG signals and arteriograph data toward the UA *** proposed method of UA prediction shows its potential for noninvasive preliminary assessment.

The precipitation in the alloy Al-Mg system has been the subject of many theoritical and experimental investigations that have contributed to the understanding of the different mechanisms which control them. The purpose of this work is to clarify the effect of temperature on the mechanisms of these during ageing of Al-8% *** alloy. The techniques of analysis used in this respect are the optical microscopy, the X-ray diffraction and the micro hardness Vickers.

Autonomous vehicle is a vehicle that can guide itself without human *** is capable of sensing its environment and moving with little or no human *** kind of vehicle has become a concrete reality and may pave the way for future systems where computers take over the art of *** artificial intelligence control systems interpret sensory information to identify appropriate navigation paths,as well as obstacles and relevant road *** this paper,we introduce an intelligent road signs classifier to help autonomous vehicles to recognize and understand road *** road signs classifier based on an artificial intelligence *** particular,a deep learning model is used,Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN).CNN is a widely used Deep Learning model to solve pattern recognition problems like image classification and object *** has successfully used to solve computer vision problems because of its methodology in processing images that are similar to the human brain decision *** evaluation of the proposed pipeline was trained and tested using two different *** proposed CNNs achieved high performance in road sign classification with a validation accuracy of 99.8%and a testing accuracy of 99.6%.The proposed method can be easily implemented for real time application.

背景:据CA杂志估计,无论男性还是女性,结直肠癌发病率和死亡率均将位居恶性肿瘤的前三位。在中国,结直肠癌是最常见的恶性肿瘤之一,严重威胁人们的健康。研究表明,腹腔镜技术在结肠癌手术中具有创伤小、恢复快、对机体免疫系统影响小等优势,已经逐渐成为结直肠癌标准的手术治疗方法之一,获得了广泛的应用。腹腔镜左半结肠癌根治术在脾曲游离、淋巴结清扫、消化道重建等方面均存在困难,对手术技术要求较高。关于腹腔镜与开腹左半结肠癌根治术的对照研究鲜有报道。本研究旨在比较腹腔镜手术和开腹手术在左半结肠切除术中的应用,分析两种手术方式患者的临床相关资料,为左半结肠癌患者选择最优手术方式提供一定的理论依据。方法:回顾性分析2018年10月至2020年10月期间扬州大学附属苏北人民医院行左半结肠切除术患者的临床资料。根据术式不同分为腹腔镜组（Laparoscropic,LAP）或开放组（Open Surgery,OS）。比较两组患者一般资料（性别、年龄、BMI、肿瘤大小、肿瘤部位）、术中情况（手术时间、术中出血量、切口长度）、术后病理（TNM分期、病理类型）、术后并发症（肠梗阻、切口感染、肺部感染、切口疝、吻合口瘘、术后1年死亡率、局部复发率、远处转移率）、术后恢复状况（首次排气、进食、下床活动时间,术后拔除引流管时间,炎性指标变化）及患者满意度。结果:在我们的研究中,对167例患者的资料进行分析。分别有89例（53.3%）患者纳入LAP组接受了腹腔镜左半结肠切除术,有78例（46.7%）患者纳入OS组接受了开腹左半结肠切除术。OS组平均年龄62.60±11.378岁,LAP组平均年龄61.97±11.414岁,两组之间年龄差异无统计学意义（P=0.719）。OS组BMI为24.47±3.32 kg/m2,LAP组为24.46±3.74 kg/m2,两组之间差异无统计学意义（P=0.983）。两组性别之间差异也无统计学意义（P=0.923）。肿瘤部位中有91例患者位于降结肠乙状结肠交界部,其中LAP组和OS组分别为48例（52.7%）和41例（47.3%）,52例患者病灶位于降结肠,其中LAP组和OS组分别为30例（57.7%）和22例（42.3%）,19例患者病灶位于结肠脾区,其中LAP组和OS组分别为10例（52.6%）和9例（47.4%）,5例患者肿瘤部位位于横结肠左1/3部,其中LAP组和OS组分别为3例（60.0%）和2例（40.0%）,两组之间在肿瘤位置间差异无统计学意义（P=0.792）。根据TNM分期,两组Ⅲ期患者数量比较多,OS组和LAP组分别为58例和71例,两组之间差异无统计学意义（P=0.705）;同样,对于根据肿瘤深度（T1、T2、T3和T4）,两组之间差异无统计学意义（P=0.666）。两组患者淋巴结阳性数目,差异无统计学意义（P=0.973）。肿瘤病理特征显示,两组中大多数肿瘤为溃疡型,OS组为61.53%,LAP组为69.66%,两组之间差异无统计学意义（P=0.17）。比较两组手术时间,OS组为125.21±36.12 min,LAP组为129.43±33.06 min,两组之间差异无统计学意义（P=0.432）。两组中OS组失血量为109.23±94.22 ml,LAP组为43.17±26.85 ml,差异有统计学意义（P＜0.001）。手术切口上,OS组患者的手术平均切口长度为16.23 ±3.567 cm,LAP组患者切口长度为5.57±1.71 cm,差异具有统计学意义（P＜0.001）。术后肛门首次排气时间,LAP组平均为3.29±1.99天,OS组为5.00±1.84天,差异有统计学意义（P＜0.001）。LAP组患者术后首次进食时间为4.29±1.99天低于OS组患者的5.99±1.84天,两组之间差异有统计学意义（P＜0.001）。LAP组患者术后下床活动时间为2.11±0.76天低于OS组患者的2.56±0.73天,两组之间差异有统计学意义（P＜0.001）。两组炎性指标中OS组术后第1天的白细胞计数为11.70±4.22*10^9/L,LAP组为10.38±3.18*10^9/L,两组之间差异有统计学意义（P=0.023）。术后第3天,OS组的白细胞计数为7.30±2.25*10^9/L,LAP组为6.25±2.05*10^9/L,两组之间差异有统计学差异（P=0.003）。OS组术后第3天NE%检测率为73.78±8.78%,LAP组为67.91±14.25%,两组之间差异有统计学差异（P=0.002）。OS组术后第1 天 CRP 为 78.89±14.11 mg/L,LAP 组为 73.41±14.89 mg/L,两组之间差异有统计学差异（P=0.016）。OS组术后第3天CRP为43.19±17.

Implications of Financial and Non-financial Measures on the Refinement of the Assessments of Audit Risk： An Empirical Investigation

Identifying and assessing audit risk is a key part of the audit process. Prior research documented that auditors primarily look at financial data, information, and measures when assessing the audit risk for an audit engagement. However, professional standard setters, regulators, and academic researchers have discussed the potential for non-financial data, information, and measures to provide a powerful and independent benchmark for evaluating the validity of the numbers of financial statements of an audit client. A field study was conducted in Egypt during the years 2013 and 2014 to explore how auditors perceive and assess audit risk for an audit engagement in the period following the Egyptian revolution of January 25, 2011. The results of the field study indicated that auditors appear not to give sufficient attention to non-financial data, information, and measures when assessing the audit risk during an audit engagement. Auditors seem to rely on financial data, information, and measures when assessing the audit risk of an audit engagement. Furthermore, auditors do not seem to consider the inconsistencies between financial and non-financial data, information, and measures of an audit client as an indicator of the existence of fraud or material misstatements in the financial statements of an audit client.

The study of the discontinuous precipitation reaction and the lamellar precipitate dissolution in the alloy Cu-In system provoked a considerable benefit and has been the subject of many theoretical and experimental investigations. The aim of this work is to make the evidence on the one hand the effect of the plastic deformation on the mechanism of the discontinuous precipitation reaction such as nucleation, growth and lamellar coarsening and in other hand the effect of temperature on the characteristics and front behavior movement of the opposite reaction (discontinuous dissolution). Different techniques of analysis have been used in this respect such as the optical microscopy, the differential thermal analysis and the microhardness Vickers. The obtained results confirm various works achieved in this field.

Shear logs,also known as shear velocity logs,are used for various types of seismic analysis,such as determining the relationship between amplitude variation with offset(AVO)and interpreting multiple types of seismic *** log is an important tool for analyzing the properties of rocks and interpreting seismic data to identify potential areas of oil and gas ***,these logs are often not collected due to cost constraints or poor borehole conditions possibly leading to poor data quality,though there are various approaches in practice for estimating shear wave *** this study,a detailed review of the recent advances in the various techniques used to measure shear wave(S-wave)velocity is carried *** techniques include direct and indirect measurement,determination of empirical relationships between S-wave velocity and other parameters,machine learning,and rock physics ***,this study creates a collection of employed techniques,enhancing the existing knowledge of this significant topic and offering a progressive approach for practical implementation in the field.
