Atypical small acinar proliferation is a histopathological diagnosis of unspecified importance in prostate needle-biopsy reports,suggestive but not definitive for *** terminology corresponds to some uncertainty in the biopsy report,as the finding might represent an underlying non-cancerous pathology mimicking cancer or an under-sampled prostate cancer ***,traditional practice favors an immediate repeat ***,in modern urological times,the need of urgent repeat biopsy is being challenged by some authors as in the majority of cases,the grade of cancer found in subsequent biopsy is reported to be low or the disease to be *** the other hand,high risk disease cannot be excluded,whereas no clinical or pathological factors can predict the final *** this review,we discuss the significance of the diagnosis of atypical small acinar proliferation in the biopsy report,commenting on its importance in modern urological practice.

ObjectiveThis systematic review aimed to analyze animal and human trial data to better understand the efficacy of stem cell therapy (SCT) for erectile dysfunction (ED) and the obstacles that may hinder its application in this *** searched electronic databases, including PubMed and Scopus, for published studies with the Medical Subject Heading terms of “erectile dysfunction” (AND) “stem cell therapy” (OR) “erectile dysfunction” (AND) “clinical trial of stem cell therapy” (OR) “stem cell therapy” (AND) “sexual dysfunction”. The search was limited to English-language journals and full papers only. The initial search resulted in 450 articles, of which 90 relevant to our aims were included in the *** is a multifactorial disease. Current treatment options rely on pharmacotherapy as well as surgical options. Patients may have side effects or unsatisfactory results following the use of these treatment options. SCT may restore pathophysiological changes leading to ED rather than treating the symptoms. It has been evaluated in animal models and shown promising results in humans. Results confirm that SCT does improve erectile function in animals with different types of SC use. In humans, evidence showed promising results, but the trials were heterogeneous and limited mainly by a lack of randomization and the small sample size. Many challenges could limit future research in this field, including ethical dilemmas, regulation, patient recruitment, the cost of therapy, and the lack of a standardized SCT regimen. Repairing and possibly replacing diseased cells, tissue, or organs and eventually retrieving normal function should always be the goals of any therapy, and this can only be guaranteed by *** is a potential and successful treatment for ED, particularly in patients who are resistant to the classic therapy. SCT may promote nerve regeneration and vascular cell regeneration, not only symptomatic treatment.

Dear editor,Premature ejaculation(PE)is a common male sexual *** occurs in 4%e39%of men across studies in community samples[1].It is impossible to establish accurately the real prevalence of PE because it lacks a widely accepted ***,PE is frequently a self-reported,self-rated complaint,making it difficult to appreciate its real *** addition,the fact that in some couples PE is diagnosed based on distress rather than as an objective symptom complicates the matter even further[2].Oral dapoxetine has been recommended as first-choice therapy for *** using this drug,side effects were uncommon,dose-dependent,including nausea,diarrhea,headache,and dizziness[1].Although since the early 1930s,many drugs have been used to treat PE such as topical local anesthetics and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors.

Nanopowder of Cr：GGG and nanopowder of Cr,Nd：GGG with different concentrations of Cr3＋ ranging from 0.1 at.% to 1.5 at.% were synthesized by the sol-gel method using acetic acid and ethylene glycol. Thermal gravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry （TGA-DSC）, X-ray diffraction （XRD） and photoluminescence spectroscopy were used to characterize the powder. The crystallite size was about 58 nm when treated at 1000 oC for 2 h. Cr3＋ photoluminescence spectrum in GGG showed a broad band emission around 730 nm. The intensity of this band decreased when co-doped with Nd, indicating an efficient energy transfer from Cr3＋ to Nd3＋. Photoluminescence intensity of Nd in Cr,Nd：GGG at 1.06μm showed that the optimum concentration of Cr3＋ was about 1 at.% （more or less） for 1 at.% Nd3＋. This result was also confirmed by chromium fluorescence decay rate analysis. Energy transfer efficiency was found to be about 84% for 1 at.% concentration of each chromium and neodymium.

The Late Cretaceous Sabzevar ophiolite represents one of the largest and most complete fragments of Tethyan oceanic lithosphere in the NE *** is mainly composed of serpentinized mantle peridotites slices;nonetheless,minor tectonic slices of all crustal sequence constituents are observed in this *** crustal sequence contains a well-developed ultramafic and mafic cumulates section,comprising plagioclase-bearing wehrlite,olivine clinopyroxenite,olivine gabbronorite,gabbronorite,amphibole gabbronorite and quartz gabbronorite with adcumulate,mesocumulate,heteradcumulate and orthocumulate *** crystallization order for these rocks is olivine±chromian spinel→clinopyroxene→plagioclase→orthopyroxene→*** presence of primary magmatic amphiboles in the cumulate rocks shows that the parent magma evolved under hydrous ***,the studied rock units are characterized by low TiO2(0.18-0.57 wt.%),P2 O5(<0.05 wt.%),K2 O(0.01-0.51 wt.%)and total alkali contents(0.12-3.04 wt.%).They indicate fractionated trends in the chondrite-normalized rare earth element(REE)plots and multi-element diagrams(spider diagrams).The general trend of the spider diagrams exhibit slight enrichment in large ion lithophile elements(LILEs)relative to high field strength elements(HFSEs)and positive anomalies in Sr,Pb and Eu and negative anomalies in Zr and Nb relative to the adjacent *** REE plots of these rocks display increasing trend from La to Sm,positive Eu anomaly(Eu/Eu*=1.06-1.54)and an almost flat pattern from medium REE(MREE)to heavy REE(HREE)region[(Gd/Yb)N=1-1.17].Moreover,clinopyroxenes from the cumulate rocks have low REE contents and show marked depletion in light REE(LREE)compared to MREE and HREE[(La/Sm)N=0.10-0.27 and(La/Yb)N=0.08-0.22].The composition of calculated melts in equilibrium with the clinopyroxenes from less evolved cumulate samples are closely similar to island arc tholeiitic(IAT)*** mineralogy,geochemical features

Percutaneous devices for left atrial appendage occlusion: A contemporary review

Patient with atrial fibrillation(AF) are at risk of developing stroke with the left atrial appendage(LAA) being the most common site for thrombus formation. If left untreated, AF is associated with 4 to 5 folds increase in the risk of ischemic stroke in all age groups. About 5% to 15% of AF patients have atrial thrombi on transesophageal echocardiography, and 91% of those thrombi are located in the LAA in patient with nonrheumatic AF. Although oral anticoagulants are the gold-standard treatment for stroke prevention in patients with non-valvular AF,some patients are at high risk of bleeding and deemed not candidates for anticoagulation. Therefore, LAA occlusion(LAAO) has emerged as alternative approach for stroke prevention in those patients. Surgical LAAO is associated with high rate of unsuccessful closure and recommended only in patients with AF and undergoing cardiac surgery. Percutaneous LAAO uses transvenous access with trans-septal puncture and was first tested using the PLAATO *** is the most common and only Food and Drug Administration(FDA)approved device for LAAO. LAAO using Watchman device is non-inferior to warfarin therapy in preventing ischemic stroke/systemic ***, it is associated with lower rates of hemorrhagic stroke, bleeding and death. Amplatzer is another successful LAAO device that has CE mark and is waiting for FDA approval. Optimal antithrombotic therapy post LAAO is still under debate and highly patient-specific. The aim of this paper is to systematically review the current literature to evaluate the efficacy and safety of different LAAO devices.
