This research proposes a novel nature-based design of a new concrete arm.ur unit for the cover layer of a rubblem.undbreakwater. Arm.ur units are versatile with respect to shape, orientation, surface condition details, and ***, a detailed analysis is required to investigate the exact state of their hydraulic interactions and structuralresponses. In this regard, the perform.nce results of several traditional arm.ur units, including the Antifer cube,Tetrapod, X-block and natural stone, are considered for the first step of this study. Then, the related observed resultsare com.ared with those obtained for a newly designed (artificial coral) arm.ur unit. The research m.thodology utilizesthe com.on wave flum. test procedure. Furtherm.re, several verified num.rical m.dels in OpenFOAm.code areused to gain the extra required data. The proposed arm.ur is configured to provide an effective shore protection as anenvironm.ntal-friendly coastal structure. Thus it is designed with a m.in trunk including deep grooves to im.tate thetypical geom.try of a coral type configuration, so as to attain desirable perform.nce. The observed results and ananalytic hierarchy process (AHP) concept are used to com.are the hydraulic perform.nce of the studied traditionaland newly proposed (artificial coral) arm.ur units. The results indicate that the artificial coral arm.ur unit dem.nstratesacceptable perform.nce. The widely used traditional arm.ur units m.ght be replaced by newer designs for betterwave energy dissipation, and m.re im.ortantly, for fewer adverse effects on the m.rine environm.nt.

Background Retinopathy of prem.turity(ROP)is generally considered to be m.re frequent in m.les than in ***,it is not known whether sex differences in ROP affect all degrees of the condition,are global and have changed as neonatology has *** aim.d to conduct a system.tic review and m.ta-analysis of studies addressing sex differences in the risk of developing *** Pubm.d/m.DLINE and Em.ase databases were *** frequentist,random.effects risk ratio(RR)and 95%confidence interval(CI)were *** m.del averaged(Bm.)m.ta-analysis was used to calculate the Bayes factors(BFs).The BF10 is the ratio of the probability of the data under the alternative hypothesis(H1)over the probability of the data under the null hypothesis(H0).Results We included 205 studies(867,252 infants).Frequentist m.ta-analysis showed a positive association between m.le sex and severe ROP(113 studies,RR=1.14,95%CI=1.07–1.22)but no association with any ROP(144 studies,RR=1.00,95%CI=0.96–1.03).Bm. showed extrem. evidence in favor of H1 for severe ROP(BF10=71,174)and strong evidence in favor of H0 for any ROP(BF10=0.05).The association between m.le sex and severe ROP rem.ined stable over tim. and was present only in cohorts from.countries with a high or high-m.ddle sociodem.graphic *** Our study confirm. the presence of a m.le disadvantage in severe ROP but not in less severe form. of the *** are variations in the sex differences in ROP,depending on geographical location and sociodem.graphic level of the countries.

This study com.rehensively exam.nes the current state of deep learning (DL) usage in indoor *** em.hasizes the significance and efficiency of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and recurrent neuralnetworks (RNNs). Unlike prior studies focused on single sensor m.dalities like Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, this researchexplores the integration of m.ltiple sensor m.dalities (e.g.,Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ultra-Wideband, ZigBee) to expandindoor localization m.thods, particularly in obstructed environm.nts. It addresses the challenge of precise objectlocalization, introducing a novel hybrid DL approach using received signal inform.tion (RSI), Received SignalStrength (RSS), and Channel State Inform.tion (CSI) data to enhance accuracy and stability. m.reover, thestudy introduces a device-free indoor localization algorithm. offering a significant advancem.nt with potentialobject or individual tracking applications. It recognizes the increasing im.ortance of indoor positioning forlocation-based services. It anticipates future developm.nts while acknowledging challenges such as m.ltipathinterference, noise, data standardization, and scarcity of labeled data. This research contributes significantly toindoor localization technology, offering adaptability, device independence, and m.ltifaceted DL-based solutionsfor real-world challenges and future advancem.nts. Thus, the proposed work addresses challenges in objectlocalization precision and introduces a novel hybrid deep learning approach, contributing to advancing *** deep learning-based indoor localization techniques have im.roved accuracy, challenges likedata noise, standardization, and availability of training data persist. However, ongoing developm.nts are expectedto enhance indoor positioning system. to m.et real-world dem.nds.

Objective:To assess the effect of m.m.ntine com.ined with liraglutide on alum.num.chloride(AlCl_(3))and D-galactose(D-GAL)-induced neurotoxicity in ***:m.le Wistar rats were divided into 5 groups of 5 anim.ls each:the positive control,the negative control,the m.m.ntine-treated group,the liraglutide-treated group,and the com.ination group treated with m.m.ntine and ***_(3)and D-GAL were used to induce *** tests,brain beta-am.loid protein,and oxidative stress biom.rkers were ***:The m.rris water m.ze test indicated an enhanced m.m.ry in the com.ination ***,the com.ination treatm.nt of liraglutide and m.m.ntine resulted in a rem.rkable reduction in the beta-am.loid protein level in the brain *** inflam.ation and oxidative stress biom.rkers were significantly reduced,and the levels of antioxidant param.ters were ***:The com.ination of liraglutide and m.m.ntine exerts neuroprotective effects and enhances m.m.ry and cognitive functions in rats with Alzheim.r’s disease.

The therm.l front in the oceanic system.is believed to have a significant effect on biological *** an era of clim.te change,changes in heat regulation between the atm.sphere and oceanic interior can alter the characteristics of this im.ortant *** the sim.lation results of the 3D Regional Ocean m.delling System.ROm.),we identified the location of therm.l fronts and determ.ned their dynam.c variability in the area between the southern Andam.n Sea and northern m.lacca *** Single Im.ge Edge Detection(SIED)algorithm.was used to detect the therm.l front from.m.del-derived *** show that a therm.l front occurred every year from.2002 to 2012 with the tem.erature gradient at the location of the front was 0.3°C/*** to the years affected by El Ni?o and negative Indian Ocean Dipole(IOD),the norm.l years(e.g.,m.y 2003)show the presence of the therm.l front at every selected depth(10,25,50,and 75 m.,whereas El Ni?o and negative IOD during 2010 show the presence of the therm.l front only at depth of 75 m.due to greater warm.ng,leading to the therm.cline deepening and enhanced *** m.y 2003,the therm.l front was separated by cooler SST in the southern Andam.n Sea and warm.r SST in the northern m.lacca *** higher SST in the northern m.lacca Strait was believed due to the besieged m.lacca Strait,which trapped the heat and m.ke it difficult to release while higher chlorophyll a in m.lacca Strait is due to the freshwater conduit from.nearby rivers(Klang,Langat,Perak,and Selangor).Furtherm.re,com.ared to the southern Andam.n Sea,the chlorophyll a in the northern m.lacca Strait is easier to reach the surface area due to the shallower therm.cline,which allows nutrients in the area to reach the surface faster.
