Ground-based/UAV-LidAR data fusion for quantitative structure modeling and tree parameter retrieval in subtropical planted forest

Light detection and ranging(LidAR)has contributed immensely to forest mapping and 3d tree *** the perspective of data acquisition,the integration of LidAR data from different platforms would enrich forest information at the tree and plot *** research develops a general framework to integrate ground-based and UAV-LidAR(ULS)data to better estimate tree parameters based on quantitative structure modelling(QSM).This is accomplished in three sequential ***,the ground-based/ULS LidAR data were co-registered based on the local density peaks of the clustered ***,redundancy and noise were removed for the ground-based/ULS LidAR data ***,tree modeling and biophysical parameter retrieval were based on *** were performed for Backpack/Handheld/UAV-based multi-platform mobile LidAR data of a subtropical forest,including poplar and dawn redwood ***,ground-based/ULS LidAR data fusion outperforms ground-based LidAR with respect to tree parameter estimation compared to field *** fusion-derived tree height,tree volume,and crown volume significantly improved by up to 9.01%,5.28%,and 18.61%,respectively,in terms of *** contrast,the diameter at breast height(dBH)is the parameter that has the least benefits from fusion,and rRMSE remains approximately the same,because stems are already well sampled from ground ***,particularly for dense forests,the fusion-derived tree parameters were improved compared to those derived from ground-based ***-based LidAR can potentially be used to estimate tree parameters in low-stand-density forests,whereby the improvement owing to fusion is not significant.

A novel approach was developed to reduce the corrosion rate of magnesium(Mg)metal,utilising titanate *** sputtering was used to deposit ca.500 nm titanium(Ti)coatings onto pure Mg discs,followed by hydrothermal conversion and ion exchange reactions to produce sodium and calcium titanate *** confirmed the characteristic nanoporous structure of sodium and calcium titanate,with thicknesses ranging from ca.0.8 to 1.4μ*** analysis confirmed the presence of Ti^(4+)-O,Na-O,and Ca-O bonding,whilst Raman spectroscopy demonstrated characteristic vibrational modes(such as TiO 6 octahedral vibrations)of the sodium and calcium titanate perovskite ***,corrosion studies through potentiodynamic polarisation measurements demonstrated the NB/NH CaTC samples to be superior in reducing Mg degradation,compared to other samples tested,through an increase in E_(corr)from-1.49 to-1.33 V,and the reduction in corrosion current density,i corr,from 0.31 to 0.06 mA/cm^(2)for Mg and NB/NH CaTC samples,*** was a clear trend noted for the NB/NH samples,which showed an increase in E corr to more positive values in the following order:Mgdd onto degradable plates for bone fracture fixation,or other orthopaedic applications.

Background:Adult patients with congenital heart disease(ACHd)might be at high risk of Coronavirus disease-2019(COVId-19).This study aimed to report on a one-year tertiary center experience regards COVId-19 infection in ACHd ***:This is a one-year(March-2020 to March-2021)tertiary-center retrospective study that enrolled all ACHd patients;COVId-19 positive patients’medical records,and management were ***:We recorded 542 patients,205(37.8%)COVId-19-positive,and 337(62.2%)COVId-19-negative *** single ventricle and Eisenmenger syndrome patients were more vulnerable to COVId-19 infection(Pdiovascular COVId-19 complications were arrhythmias in 47(22.9%)patients,heart failure in 39(19.0%)patients,cyanosis in 12(5.9%)patients,stroke/TIA in 5(2.4%)patients,hypertension and infective endocarditis in 2(1.0%)patients for each,pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary embolism in 1(0.5%)patient for each.11(5.4%)patients were managed with home isolation,147(71.7%)patients required antibiotics,32(15.6%)patients required intensive care unit(ICU),8(3.9%)patients required inotropes,7(3.4%)patients required mechanical ventilation,and 2(1.0%)patients required extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO).Thromboprophylaxis was given to all 46(22.4%)hospitalized *** College of Cardiology/American Heart Association classification revealed that complex lesions,and FC-C/d categories were more likely to develop severe/critical symptoms,that required mechanical ventilation and ECMO(Pd in 3(0.6%)patients with no difference between groups(P=0.872).193(35.6%)patients were ***:COVId-19 infection in ACHd patients require individualized risk stratification and *** syndrome,single ventricle palliation,complex lesions,and FC-C/d patients were more vulnerable to severe/critical symptoms that required ICU admission,mechanical ventilation,and *** vaccine was mostly tolerable.

We report on low-cost fabrication and high-energy density of full-cell lithium-ion battery （LIB） ***-hierarchical electrode architectures of Li2SiO3/TiO2@nano-carbon anode （***@nano-C） and high-voltage olivine LiMnPO4@nano-carbon cathode （LMPO@nano-C） are designed for half-and full-system LIB-CR2032 coin cell *** the basis of primary architecture-power-driven LIB geometrics,the structure keys including three-dimensional （3d） modeling superhierarchy,multiscale micro/nano architectures and anisotropic surface heterogeneity affect the buildup design of anode/cathode LIB *** hierarchical electrode surface topologies enable continuous in-/out-flow rates and fast transport pathways of Li+-ions during charge/discharge *** stacked layer configurations of pouch LIB-types lead to excellent charge/discharge rate,and energy density of237.6 Wh *** the most promising LIB-configurations,the high specific energy density of hierarchical pouch battery systems may improve energy storage for long-driving range of electric ***,the anisotropic alignments of hierarchical electrode architectures in the large-scale LIBs provide proof of excellent capacity storage and outstanding durability and *** full-system LIB-CR2032 coin cell models maintain high specific capacity of～89.8%within a long-term life period of2000 cycles,and average Coulombic efficiency of99.8%at 1C rate for future configuration of LIB manufacturing and commercialization challenges.

This study aimed at optimizing impact toughness and abrasion wear resistance of 15%Cr-2%Mo hypereutectic abrasion-resistant white irons. The effects of dynamic solidification, niobium addition, combined action of them and heat treatment have been investigated. Investigations were performed by means of the image analyzer, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive spectrometry (EdS) and X-ray diffraction. Impact toughness and abrasion wear resistance tests were conducted. Fracture and worn surfaces were studied. Results indicated that microstructural control during solidifciation is the most valuable tool to attain the optimum combination between impact toughness and wear resistance in hypereutectic iron. Combined action of Nb addition and dynamic solidifciation improves impact toughness and wear resistance even more than the action of each individual factor. In the as-cast condition, impact toughness and abrasion resistance were increased after dynamic solidification compared to statically solidified one by 71.4% and 10%, respectively. This enhancement was increased to 114.3 % and 28.8 % by adding 2% Nb. Lower tempering temperature of 260°C exhibits better impact and abrasion resistance than the sub-critical tempering temperature of 500°C.

In 2010 the World Health Organisation estimated the number of infections with Entamoeba histolytica at about 50 million cases including 100000 fatal courses. In most cases this infection is a subclinical event with few or none symptoms noticeable for the patient. Courses of this disease and incidence of this parasite in industrialised nations are not yet fully investigated. Our case reports about a 68-year-old male patient from Turkey who lives for more than 30 years in Germany and had not been abroad during the past 2 years. Resistant asymptomatic amoebic dormant bodies caused an emergency-laparoscopy and revealed the seldom complication of a colon perforation. In the age of globalisation all providers in the health care systems are urged to acquaint themselves also with non-typical syndromes for the countries they work in order to reduce preventable morbidity respectively mortality rates.

BACKGROUNd A cure for Helicobacter pylori(***)remains a problem of global *** prevalence of antimicrobial resistance is widely rising and becoming a challenging issue *** sequential therapy seems to be one of the most attractive strategies in terms of efficacy,tolerability and *** most common sequential therapy consists of a dual therapy[proton-pump inhibitors(PPIs)and amoxicillin]for the first period(5 to 7 d),followed by a triple therapy for the second period(PPI,clarithromycin and metronidazole).PPIs play a key role in maintaining a gastric pH at a level that allows an optimal efficacy of antibiotics,hence the idea of using new generation *** open-label prospective study randomized 328 patients with confirmed *** infection into three groups(1:1:1):The first group received quadruple therapy consisting of twice-daily(bid)omeprazole 20 mg,amoxicillin 1 g,clarith-romycin 500 mg and metronidazole 500 mg for 10 d(QT-10),the second group received a 14 d quadruple therapy following the same regimen(QT-14),and the third group received an optimized sequential therapy consisting of bid rabe-prazole 20 mg plus amoxicillin 1 g for 7 d,followed by bid rabeprazole 20 mg,clarithromycin 500 mg and metronidazole 500 mg for the next 7 d(OST-14).AEs were recorded throughout the study,and the *** eradication rate was determined 4 to 6 wk after the end of treatment,using the 13C urea breath *** In the intention-to-treat and per-protocol analysis,the eradication rate was higher in the OST-14 group compared to the QT-10 group:(93.5%,85.5%P=0.04)and(96.2%,89.5%P=0.03)***,there was no statist-ically significant difference in eradication rates between the OST-14 and QT-14 groups:(93.5%,91.8%P=0.34)and(96.2%,94.4%P=0.35),*** overall incidence of AEs was significantly lower in the OST-14 group(P=0.01).Furthermore,OST-14 was the most cost-effective among the three *** The optimized 14-

This research uses both three-dimensional(3d)modeling and geologic well control to piece back together the architectural parts of the Late Cretaceous *** goal is to figure out the sizes,directions,locations,and controls of the layers of the fluvial sandstone *** stratigraphy is essential for 3d reservoir modeling and petroleum geology understanding in the Bahga *** purpose of this work is to create a static model that shows the layers and facies distribution in the reservoir *** will use data from nine well logs and 22 seismic lines calibrated by the Abu Roash G Member reservoir core intervals to accomplish *** petrophysical study discovered three parts in the Abu Roash G Member reservoir rock:channel fill that is affected by tides,channel fill that is dominated by tides(intertidal sands),and channel top with lenticular bedded *** model's findings point to the existence of an NNW-oriented sand body,which could be a prime location to produce *** original oil in place(OOIP)is about 3,438,279 Stock Tank Barrels(STB),and the oil reserve reaches up to 1,031,484(STB).Sequence stratigraphic analysis using seismic and well log information(SB)reveals that the Upper Cretaceous AR/G reservoir of the Bahga field is characterized by third-and fourth-order stratigraphic sequences,which are constrained by three Maximum Flooding Surfaces(MFS)and two Sequence *** integration of the derived geological model and sequence stratigraphic results can lower future extraction risk by identifying the locations and trends of the geologic facies with the necessary petrophysical properties for the hydrocarbon accumulations.
