Transition from ocea.ic subduction to continental collision:insights from volcanogenic-sedimentary rocks of the Tannuola terrane(northern Central a.ian Orogenic Belt)

Magma.ism associated with ocea.ic subduction plays a dominant role in crustal growth during the Earth's *** Tannuola terrane,situated in the northern Central a.ian Orogenic Belt(CAOB),is a key area to understanding ocea.ic subduction and initial collision processes in the northern *** order to investigate the switch from subduction to collision settings,detailed field mapping,zircon SHRiMP U-Pb geochronological and whole-rock geochemical studies of volcanogenic-sedimentary rocks from the Tannuola terrane were carried *** U-Pb ages indicate multi-stage volca.ism lasted at least 30 Ma from~540 to~510 Ma,that can be divided into three events:the late Ediacaran(before~540 Ma),the early Cambrian(~520 Ma)and the middle Cambrian(~510 Ma).These ages are inter-preted to the initial,main and final stages of ocea.ic subduction during the late Proterozoic-early *** the late Ediacaran,tholeiitic basalts with highεNd(t)values(from+7.4 to+8.5)were *** forming by the 10%-30%partial melting of spinel-garnet mantle source during slab *** the early Cambrian,transitional from tholeiitic to calc-alka.ine basaltic rocks withεNd(t)value(+5.6)and coeval intermediate-felsic volca.ic rocks with similarεNd(t)values(+5.9 and+6.5)*** early Cambrian basaltic rocks are interpreted to be derived by 10%-30%partial melt-ing of a depleted mantle source metasoma.ized by slab-derived fluids released from the subducting ocea-nic *** middle Cambrian calcalka.ine basaltic rocks withεNd(t)value of+6.2 might be emplaced as a result of low(5%-10%)degree partial melting of a metasoma.ized mantle followed by fractional crys-talliza.ion of clinopyroxene and *** intermediate-felsic volca.ic rocks withεNd(t)values from+6.0 to+6.8 were formed through fractiona.ion of the juvenile Neoproterozoic *** middle Cambrian volca.ism is interpreted to be triggered by the slab break-off during the transition to a collisional se

Historic maps showing the temporal distribution of rice fields are important for precision agriculture,irriga.ion optimisa.ion,forecasting crop yields,land use management and formula.ing ***,mapping rice felds using tra.itional ground surveys is impractical when high cost,time and labour requirements are considered,and the availa.ility of such detailed records is *** satellite remote sensing appears to be a viable solution,conventional segmenta.ion and classifica.ion methods with spectral bands are often unable to contrast the distinct characteristics between rice fields and other vegeta.ion *** this end,we explored a novel,Google Earth Engine(GEE)based multiindex random forest(RF)classifica.ion approach to map rice fields over two *** images from 2000 to 2020 of two Sri Lankan rice cultiva.ion districts were extracted from GEE and a multi-index RF classifica.ion algorithm was applied to distinguish the rice *** results showed above 80%accuracy for both training and va.ida.ion,when compared against high spa.ial resolution Google Earth *** essence,multi-index sampling and RF together synergised the compelling classifca.ion accuracy by effectively capturing vegeta.ion,water(ponding)and soil characteristics unique to the rice felds using a single-click *** maps developed in this study were further compared against the MODiS land cover type product(MCD12Q1)and the corresponding superior sta.istics on rice fields demonstrated the robustness of the proposed *** work seeking effective index combina.ions is recommended,and this approach can potentially be extended to other crop analyses elsewhere.

Using the data on magnetic field maps and continuum intensity for Solar Cycles 23 and 24,we explored 100 active regions(ARs)that produced M5.0 or stronger *** focus on the presence/absence of the emergence of magnetic flux in these ARs 2-3 days before the strong flare *** found that 29 ARs in the sample emerged monotonically a.idst quiet-Sun.A major emergence of a new magnetic flux within a pre-existing AR yielding the forma.ion of a complex flare-productive configura.ion was observed in another 24 *** 30 ARs,an insignificant(in terms of the total magnetic flux of pre-existing AR)emergence of a new magnetic flux within the pre-existing magnetic configura.ion was observed;for some of them the emergence resulted in a forma.ion of a configura.ion with a small δ-sunspot;11 out of 100 ARs exhibited no signatures of magnetic flux emergence during the entire interval of *** six cases the emergence was in progress when the AR appeared on the Eastern limb,so that the classifica.ion and timing of emergence were not *** conclude that the recent flux emergence is not a necessary and/or sufficient condition for strong fla.ing of an *** flux emergence rate of flare-productive ARs analyzed here was compared with that of flare-quiet ARs analyzed in our previous *** revealed that the flare-productive ARs tend to display faster emergence than the flare-quiet ones do.

Objective:To investigate the difference in serum ferritin levels between deceased and surviving regular hemodialysis pa.ients with ***:We conducted a systema.ic search across four databases following the PRiSMA statement *** reporting ferritin levels and morta.ity of regular hemodialysis pa.ients with COViD-19 were *** the random-effects model,we performed a meta-analysis to determine the mean difference in serum ferritin levels between the studied groups,along with their corresponding 95%confidence *** meta-analysis was carried out using Review Manager 5.4 and Stata ***:A total of 1013 pa.ients from seven studies were included in this *** meta-analysis showed higher mean serum ferritin in the deceased compared to surviving regular hemodialysis pa.ients with COViD-19,with a mean difference of 449.43 ng/mL[95%Ci(244.07,654.80),Pi2=58%,P=0.003].Conclusions:Our study found a higher mean of serum ferritin levels in the deceased compared to surviving regular hemodialysis pa.ients with COViD-19.
