Mapping global research trends: Nutrition associations with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease - a Scopus bibliometric analysis

BACKGROUND Several bibliometric analyses have been carried out to identify research hotspots and trends in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)***,there are still significant knowledge gaps that must be filled to advance our understanding of and ability to treat *** to evaluate,through bibliometric and visual analysis,the current status of related research,related research frontiers,and the developmental trends in the field of diet and *** We retrieved publications about diet and NAFLD published between 1987 and 2022 from ***,we used VOSviewer 1.6.20 to perform bibliometric analysis and *** We found a total of 1905 studies,including 1637(85.93%)original articles and 195(10.24%)reviews,focused on the examination of NAFLD and its correlation with diet that were published between 1987 and *** the remaining five types of documents,38 were letters,notes,editorials,meeting minutes,or brief surveys,representing 1.99%of the total *** countries with the most publications on this topic were China(n=539;28.29%),followed by the United States(n=379;19.90%),Japan(n=133;6.98%),and South Korea(n=127;6.6%).According to the citation analysis,the retrieved papers were cited an average of 32.3 times and had an h-index of 106,with 61014 total *** two main clusters on the map included those related to:(1)Inflammation and oxidative stress;and(2)Dietary interventions for *** this was the first study to use data taken from Scopus to visualize network mapping in a novel bibliometric analysis of studies focused on diet and *** 2017,the two domains that received the most attention were“dietary interventions for NAFL”’and“‘inflammation and oxidative stress implicated in NAFLD and its correlation with diet.”We believe that this study provides important information for academics,dietitians,and doctors,and that additional research on dietary interventions and NAFLD is warranted.

BACKGROUND Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is a liver condition that is prevalent worldwide and associated with significant health risks and economic *** it has been linked to insulin resistance(IR),this study aimed to perform a bibliometric analysis and visually represent the scientific literature on IR and *** to map the research landscape to underscore critical areas of focus,influential studies,and future directions of NAFLD and *** this study conducted a bibliometric analysis of the literature on IR and NAFLD indexed in the SciVerse Scopus database from 1999 to *** search strategy used terms from the literature and medical subject headings,focusing on terms related to IR and *** software was used to visualize research trends,collaborations,and key thematic *** analysis examined publication type,annual research output,contributing countries and institutions,funding agencies,journal impact factors,citation patterns,and highly cited *** this analysis identified 23124 documents on NAFLD,revealing a significant increase in the number of publications between 1999 and *** search retrieved 715 papers on IR and NAFLD,including 573(80.14%)articles and 88(12.31%)*** most productive countries were China(n=134;18.74%),the United States(n=122;17.06%),Italy(n=97;13.57%),and Japan(n=41;5.73%).the leading institutions included the Universitàdegli Studi di torino,Italy(n=29;4.06%),and the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche,Italy(n=19;2.66%).the top funding agencies were the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases in the United States(n=48;6.71%),and the National Natural Science Foundation of China(n=37;5.17%).the most active journals in this field were Hepatology(27 publications),the Journal of Hepatology(17 publications),and the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism(13 publications).the main research hotspots were“therapeutic approaches for IR and NAFLD”and“inflamma

A Multilayer Perceptron Artificial Neural Network Study of Fatal Road traffic Crashes

this paper examines the relationship between fatal road traffic accidents and potential predictors using multilayer perceptron artificial neural network (MLANN) models. the initial analysis employed t.elve potential predictors, including traffic volume, prevailing weather conditions, roadway characteristics and features, drivers’ age and gender, and number of lanes. Based on the output of the model and the variables’ importance factors, seven significant variables are identified and used for further analysis to improve the performance of models. the model is optimized by systematically changing the parameters, including the number of hidden layers and the activation function of both the hidden and output layers. the performances of the MLANN models are evaluated using the percentage of the achieved accuracy, R-squared, and Sum of Square Error (SSE) functions.

An Abstract Reachability Approach by Combining HOL Induction and Multiway Decision Graphs

In this paper, we provide a necessary infrastructure to define an abstract state exploration in the HOL theorem prover. Our infrastructure is based on a deep embedding of the Multiway Decision Graphs （MDGs） theory in HOL. MDGs generalize Reduced Ordered Binary Decision Diagrams （ROBDDs） to represent and manipulate a subset of first-order logic formulae. the MDGs embedding is based on the logical formulation of an MDG as Directed Formulae （DF）. then, the MDGs operations are defined and the correctness proof of each operation is provided. the MDG teachability algorithm is then defined as a conversion that uses our MDG theory within HOL. Finally, a set of experimentations over benchmark circuits has been conducted to ensure the applicability and to measure the performance of our approach.

BACKGROUND Crohn’s disease represents a challenge for patients concerned with the modified diet regimen as well as practitioners who seek the best nutritional ***’s disease can alter the body’s ability to digest food and to absorb nutrients,resulting in severe vitamin deficiencies,malnutrition and sometimes lifethreatening ***,a comprehensive bibliometric analysis is lacking to map the current links between nutrition and Crohn’s disease in terms of the number of citations,geographic distribution and growth trends of *** to introduce the current state of research as well as hotspots in the field of nutrition and Crohn’s disease from a bibliometric *** We searched the Scopus database and selected the relevant literature on nutrition and Crohn’s disease that met the inclusion *** analyzed the publication trends and research hotspots by using video object segmentation viewer *** We included 1237 *** number of documents published each year has increased *** United States and the University of Otago,Christchurch,have had the highest productivity,with 208(16.81%)and 29(2.34%)documents,***“role of exclusive enteral nutrition for complicated Crohn’s disease”and“manipulation of the gut microbiota as a key target for Crohn’s disease”were the major research areas in 2016-2021,and they could be extensively investigated in the ***,research on“malnutrition in patients with Crohn’s disease”appeared to be an area that attracted more research attention before *** this is the first bibliometric analysis to map the knowledge structure and trends regarding nutrition in Crohn’s disease research over the past two *** results provide a comprehensive summary and identification of the frontiers of nutrition and Crohn’s disease-related research,which may be used as a resource by researchers in the field.

NuMDG:A New tool for Multiway Decision Graphs Construction

Multiway Decision Graphs （MDGs） are a canonical representation of a subset of many-sorted first-order logic. this subset generalizes the logic of equality with abstract types and uninterpreted function symbols. the distinction between abstract and concrete sorts mirrors the hardware distinction between data path and control. Here we consider ways to improve MDGs construction. Efficiency is achieved through the use of the Generalized-If-then-else （GItE） commonly operator in Binary Decision Diagram packages. Consequently, we review the main algorithms used for MDGs verification techniques. In particular, Relational Product and Pruning by Subsumption are algorithms defined uniformly through this single CItE operator which will lead to a more efficient implementation. Moreover, we provide their correctness proof. this work can be viewed as a way to accommodate the ROBBD algorithms to the realm of abstract sorts and uninterpreted functions. the new tool, called NuMDG, accepts an extended SMV language, supporting abstract data sorts. Finally, we present experimental results demonstrating the efficiency of the NuMDG tool and evaluating its performance using a set of benchmarks from the SMV package.

Geothermobarometry of Askaoun Pluton in Ouzellarh-Sirwa Promontory (Central Anti-Atlas;Morocco)

Rocks of the late Neoproterozoic Askaoun pluton (558 ± 2 Ma) located in the Ouzellarh-Sirwa promontory (Anti-Atlas) include magmatic microgranular enclaves (MMEs) ranging from rounded to ovoid in shape, dark and fine grained and generally 5 to 10 cm in size, some reaching a size of 50 cm. they are composed of microdiorite, quartz microdiorite and micromonzodiorite, whereas the felsic host rocks comprise mainly quartz-diorite and amphibole-biotite granodiorite based on mineralogical compositions. the mineral assemblage is similar to those described in their hosting granitoids but with different proportions. In this study composition of minerals is used to describe the nature of the magma and estimate the pressure, temperature and oxygen fugacity at which Askaoun pluton is emplaced. Based on chemistry of biotite Askaoun pluton formed from calc-alkaline magma. Compositions of plagioclase (An5 - An29);hornblende (Mg ≠= 0.59 - 0.65) and biotite (Mg ≠= 0.49 - 0.55) of MMEs are slightly distinct or similar to those of host rocks (An7-40;hbl Mg ≠= 0.64 - 0.69;Bi Mg ≠= 0.49 - 0.50) which suggest partial to complete equilibration during mafic-felsic magma interaction. the coexisting hornblende and plagioclase (hornblende-plagioclase thermometry), Al content in hornblende (aluminum-in-hornblende barometry) and the assemblage titanite-magnetite-quartz were used to constrain the P, t and fO2 during the crystallization of the parent magmas. the Askaoun pluton was emplaced at temperature ca. 504°C - 633°C and at pressure ca. 0.9 - 4.66 ± 0.6 Kbars (average depth = 6.5 km) from a highly oxidized magma (log fO2 = ?24.8 to ?19.2).
