Arab countri.s wi.hi. the research category of“i.fecti.us di.eases”were extracted and analyzed usi.g the Web of Sci.nce *** data analyzed represent research producti.i.y duri.g the ti.e i.terval between 1900–***:Worldwi.e,the total number of documents publi.hed i. the fi.ld of i.fecti.us di.eases up to 2012 was 227,188.A total of 2,408 documents i. the fi.ld of i.fecti.us di.eases were publi.hed i. Arab countri.s,whi.h represents 1.06%of worldwi.e research *** output from Arab countri.s i. the fi.ld of i.fecti.us di.eases was low for ***,approxi.ately a fi.e-fold i.crease was observed i. the past *** countri.s ranked 56th to 218th on the standard competi.i.n ranki.g(SCR)i. worldwi.e publi.ati.ns i. the fi.ld of i.fecti.us ***,wi.h a total publi.ati.n of 464(19.27%)documents ranked fi.st among Arab countri.s,whi.e Kuwai. Uni.ersi.y was the most producti.e i.sti.uti.n wi.h a total of 158(6.56%)*** ci.ati.n per document publi.hed i. BACKGROUND One of the most popular bari.tri. procedures i. sleeve gastrectomy,and i. has become si.ni.i.antly more common i. recent *** To evaluate the research acti.i.y i. sleeve gastrectomy over the last two decades,and to vi.uali.e the hot spots and emergi.g trends i. thi. type of bari.tri. surgeryusi.g bi.li.metri. *** The Scopus database was used to search for publi.ati.ns related to sleeve *** retri.ved publi.ati.ns were revi.wed i. terms of year of publi.ati.n,type of study,country of ori.i.,i.sti.uti.ns,journals,and ci.ati.n patterns by usi.g descri.ti.e *** network and term cooccurrence analysi. were vi.uali.ed by usi.g VOSvi.wer *** The search strategy yi.lded a total of 6508 publi.ati.ns on sleeve gastrectomy from 2001 to *** regards the document type,the majori.y were arti.les(n=5230;80.36%),followed by revi.ws(n=544;8.36%).The top three countri.s are the Uni.ed States,wi.h 1983 publi.ati.ns(30.47%),followed by France(600;9.22%)and i.aly(417;6.71%).The most ci.ed publi.ati.n was publi.hed i. 2012 by Schauer et al i. the New England Journal of Medi.i.e(n=1435 ci.ati.ns).Thi. publi.ati.n found that wei.ht loss was greater i. the sleeve gastrectomy group than i. the medi.al therapy ***,thi. study demonstrated that 12 mo of medi.al therapy plus bari.tri. surgery greatly i.proved glycemi. regulati.n i. obese pati.nts wi.h uncontrolled type 2 di.betes compared wi.h medi.al therapy *** focus of the current li.erature on sleeve gastrectomy was di.ected toward several themes such as morbi.i.y and potenti.l compli.ati.ns,the complexi.y of the procedure and di.ferent surgi.al approaches,and di.betes and body mass i.dex i. correlati.n to sleeve *** The number of sleeve gastrectomy publi.ati.ns has gradually grown over the last 20 *** bi.li.metri. analysi. could help researchers better understand the knowledge base and research fronti.rs surroundi.g sleeve

We conducted a prospecti.e study of erecti.e dysfuncti.n(ed)after urethral reconstructi.e surgery,usi.g the 5-i.em i.ternati.nal i.dex of Erecti.e Functi.n(i.EF-5),the Sexual Li.e Quali.y Questi.nnai.e(SLQQ)and the Quali.y of Li.e Questi.nnai.e(QoLQ).Between January 2003 and July 2007,125 male pati.nts wi.h urethral stri.tures underwent urethroplasty,and pre-and post-surgery erecti.e functi.n was assessed usi.g these three questi.nnai.es.A formula to predi.t the probabi.i.y of ed after urethroplasty was *** 3 months post-operati.ely,there was a si.ni.i.ant decrease i. i.EF-5(16.57±7.98)and SLQQ scores(28.71±14.84)compared wi.h pre-operati.e scores(Pi.EF-5 scores rebounded at 6 months post-operati.ely(17.22±8.41).Logi.ti.al regressi.n analysi. showed that the locati.n of the urethral stri.ture,the recurrence of stri.tures and the choi.e of surgi.al techni.ue were predi.ti.e of the post-operati.e occurrence of *** study i.enti.i.0} the cli.i.al ri.k factors for ed after *** urethral stri.ture and end-to-end anastomosi. were found to have a strong relati.nshi. wi.h erecti.e *** logi.ti.al model deri.ed i. thi. study may be appli.0} to cli.i.al deci.i.n algori.hms for pati.nts wi.h urethral stri.tures.
