Comparison among the UECM Model, and the Composite Model in Forecasting Malaysian Imports

For more than a century, forecasting models have been crucial in a variety of fields. Models can offer the most accurate forecasting outcomes if error terms are normally distributed. Finding a good statistical model for time series predicting imports in Malaysia is the main target of this study. The decision made during this study mostly addresses the unrestricted error correction model (UECM), and composite model (Combined regression—ARIMA). The imports of Malaysia from the first quarter of 1991 to the third quarter of 2022 are employed in this study’s quarterly time series data. The forecasting outcomes of the current study demonstrated that the composite model offered more probabilistic data, which improved forecasting the volume of Malaysia’s imports. The composite model, and the UECM model in this study are linear models based on responses to Malaysia’s imports. Future studies might compare the performance of linear and nonlinear models in forecasting.

Objective:The objective of the study was to explore the connection between peer pressure and academic stress among junior high school ***:This descriptive correlational study was conducted to investigate the link between perceived peer pressure and academic *** study involved a total of 525 adolescents,aged 14-19 years,drawn from 6 public junior high schools(PJhS)in Padang,Indonesia,using purposive *** stress and perceived peer pressure were assessed using the Educational Stress Scale for Adolescents(ESSA)and the Perceived Peer Pressure Scale(PPPS).Results:The findings indicated significant variations in stress levels among students in different grade levels(7th,8th,and 9th grades)(Phile there were no noteworthy differences in peer pressure across these grade levels(P>0.05).Additionally,there was a positive correlation observed between perceived peer pressure and academic stress(r=0.14,Phermore,multiple regression analyses,incorporating demographic variables and perceived peer pressure as independent factors,yielded statistically significant results(adjusted R^(2)=0.082,F=4.33,Phad a direct impact on academic stress among adolescents,with class level and parents’educational background mediating the relationship between academic stress and adolescent behavioral ***:These findings underscore the importance of addressing both external and internal factors at the individual,family,school,and societal levels to enhance adolescents’psychological resilience and mitigate problem behaviors.

Q-switched erbium doped fiber laser(EDFL)was passively realized using vanadium pentoxide(V_(2)O_(5))embedded into polyethylene glycol(PEG)film as saturable absorber(SA).The laser could successfully generate stable self-starting pulses when the V_(2)O_(5)film was placed in an EDFL *** operated at 1562.4 nm *** repetition rate can be varied from 91.7 khz to 128.2 khz while the pulse width shrank from 10.90μs to 7.81μs with rising pump power from 110.9 mW to 166.5 *** pulse energy recorded was 3.2 nJ at pump power of 166.5 *** results indicate that the saturable absorption of V_(2)O_(5)has promising nonlinear photonic applications especially in fiber laser development for 1.5-μm region.

In this letter,single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWCNT)coating was used on the D-shaped silica fiber for ethanol sensing in aqueous *** performance of this structure as an ethanol sensor was studied here by monitoring output power variation and wavelength shift with changing ethanol *** the concentration range of 5%—50%of ethanol,the SWCNT coated structure showed an improved sensitivity compared to the uncoated *** sensitivity is improved from 0.0135 dB/%to 0.0409 dB/%with the *** SWCNT coated sample also showed a peak wavelength shift of 0.1 nm with the change of ethanol concentration in the same range.

This paper demonstrated a Q-switched erbium-doped fiber laser(EDFL)using an organic saturable absorber(SA)based on 8-hQCdCl_(2)h_(2)O *** organic thin film was prepared using the casting *** proposed Q-switched EDFL has a maximum repetition rate of 143 khz,minimum pulse duration of 1.85μs and the highest pulse energy of 167 *** Q-switched peak laser was at a central wavelength of 1531 nm with a 3 dB bandwidth of 3.52 nm and power intensity of 2.64 dBm.

本文研究了Cattaneo-Christov模型(C-C模型)和对流边界条件下的二次热辐射对三元混合纳米流体(TiO_(2)-SiO_(2)-MoS_(2)/煤油)流过旋转圆盘过程的影响,并研究了Darcy-Forchheimer多孔介质和吸入/注射的影响。比较分析了三元混合纳米流体(TiO_(2)-SiO_(2)-MoS_(2)/煤油)与混合纳米流体(TiO2-SiO2/煤油)。通过von Karman转换将偏微分方程集合转变为常微分方程,并通过MATLAB中的bvp4c函数对其求解。图表结果反映了径向、切向速度和传热速度的变化。讨论了各种参数的影响,包括磁场、Forchheimer数、孔隙率参数、滑移参数、辐射参数、热弛豫、混合对流、吸入/注射、Biot数、发热/热吸收、体积分数。发现较高的辐射值和热弛豫参数可以提高传热速率。本研究将对使用纳米流体的学科领域具有一定的参考价值,如运输过程、旋转的机械系统、协同旋转的涡轮系统、增强型油回收系统、医疗等。

Developing convenient and accurate SARS-CoV-2 antigen test and serology test is crucial in curbing the global COVID-19 *** this work,we report an improved indium oxide(In2O3)nanoribbon field-effect transistor(FET)biosensor platform detecting both SARS-CoV-2 antigen and *** FET biosensors,which were fabricated using a scalable and cost-efficient lithography-free process utilizing shadow masks,consist of an In_(2)O_(3)channel and a newly developed stable enzyme *** the biosensing process,the phosphatase enzymatic reaction generated ph change of the solution,which was then detected and converted to electrical signal by our In_(2)O_(3)*** biosensors applied phosphatase as enzyme reporter,which has a much better stability than the widely used urease in FET based *** proof-of-principle studies,we demonstrate the detection of SARS-CoV-2 spike protein in both phosphate-buffered saline(PBS)buffer and universal transport medium(UTM)(limit of detection[LoD]:100 fg/mL).Following the SARS-CoV-2 antigen tests,we developed and characterized additional sensors aimed at SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibodies,which is important to trace past infection and *** spike protein IgG antibody tests exhibit excellent detection limits in both PBS and human whole blood((LoD):1 pg/mL).Our biosensors display similar detection performance in different mediums,demonstrating that our biosensor approach is not limited by Debye screening from salts and can selectively detect biomarkers in physiological *** newly selected enzyme for our platform performs much better performance and longer shelf life which will lead our biosensor platform to be capable for real clinical diagnosis usage.

Effects of Integrated Organic and Inorganic Fertilizers on Yield and Growth Parameters of Rice Varieties

We investigated the effects of integrated organic and inorganic fertilizers on the growth and yield of indica rice variety Manawthukha and japonica rice variety *** a split-plot design,the two rice varieties were assigned as main plot factors,and the integrated treatments were the subplot factors,including no-N fertilizer(N0),50%chemical fertilizer(CF)(CF50),100%CF(CF100),50%CF+50%poultry manure(PM)(CF50PM50),50%CF+50%cow manure(CM)(CF50CM50),and 50%CF+50%compost(CP)(CF50CP50).CF100 was equivalent to N at 85 kg/*** was applied based on the estimated mineralizable nitrogen(EMN)level,which is dependent on total N(%)of each manure *** rice plants were taller with higher tiller number and dry matter ***,higher soil-plant analysis development(SPAD)values were measured in Genkitsukushi throughout the crop growth period,resulting in higher seed-setting rate(%)and greater *** the same N level,CF50PM50 application in both rice varieties resulted in higher SPAD values,plant height and tiller number than ***50PM50 containing total N more than 4%supplied synchronized N for the demands of the rice plants,resulting in maximum dry matter,yield and yield ***50CM50 and CF50CP50 treatments containing total N less than 4%resulted in lower yields which were similar to *** results indicated that integrating organic and inorganic fertilizers enhanced growth parameters and yields of Manawthukha and Genkitsukushi,while reducing the dose of chemical fertilizer.
