Interest in rock slope stability in mountainous regions has increased greatly in recent *** issue has become a topic of major interest for geoscientists and engineering professionals,as well as for private citizens and local administrators,in many parts of the *** paper evaluates the stability of seven rock slopes along the KamyaranMarivan tourist road,Kurdistan province,Iran,using various *** two main reasons for performing this research were to determine whether different methods of stability analysis provide the same results,and to determine how different factors such as the presence of water,tension cracks,and seismic forces affect the stability of these rock ***,field investigations were performed to obtain the engineering characteristics of the rock masses,discontinuities,and intact rocks of the ***,laboratory tests were carried out on rock samples obtained from the slopes,to determine the engineering properties of the intact *** for each rock slope,the contour diagram of discontinuities and slope face was drawn in the Dips v.5.1 software environment,and the failure mechanism was determined based on the kinematic or stereographic ***,the factors of safety of the rock slopes were calculated using the limit equilibrium method,based on the failure mechanisms resulting from the kinematic *** accuracy of the results obtained by these two methods was investigated using SWedge v.4.0 *** results indicated that four rock slopes have a potential for plane,wedge,and toppling failure,and three others are ***,it was found that the stability of the studied rock slopes decreases greatly in the presence of water,tension cracks,and seismic forces.

The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 is an ongoing health *** addition to affecting the respiratory system,COVID-19 can potentially damage other systems in the body,leading to extra-pulmonary *** manifestations are among the common consequences of *** the precise mechanism of liver injury is still questionable,several mechanisms have been hypothesized,including direct viral effect,cytokine storm,hypoxic-ischemic injury,hypoxiareperfusion injury,ferroptosis,and hepatotoxic *** factors of COVID-19-induced liver injury include severe COVID-19 infection,male gender,advanced age,obesity,and underlying *** presentations of liver involvement comprise abnormalities in liver enzymes and radiologic findings,which can be utilized to predict the *** gamma-glutamyltransferase,aspartate aminotransferase,and alanine aminotransferase levels with hypoalbuminemia can indicate severe liver injury and anticipate the need for intensive care units’*** imaging,a lower liver-to-spleen ratio and liver computed tomography attenuation may indicate a more severe ***,chronic liver disease patients are at a higher risk for severe disease and death from *** fatty liver disease had the highest risk of advanced COVID-19 disease and death,followed by metabolic-associated fatty liver disease and *** addition to COVID-19-induced liver injury,the pandemic has also altered the epidemiology and pattern of some hepatic diseases,such as alcoholic liver disease and hepatitis ***,it warrants special vigilance and awareness by healthcare professionals to screen and treat COVID-19-associated liver injury accordingly.

As it is commonly known,the estimation of physical and mechanical characteristics of rocks is very important issue in various geotechnical *** characteristics are mainly influenced by the microfabric-texture features of *** this research,dry unit weight,effective porosity,point load index,Schmidt rebound hardness,uniaxial compressive strength,and texture coefficient were measured with the aim of correlating the physical and mechanical properties to the texture *** this purpose,a comprehensive laboratory testing program was conducted after collecting twenty sedimentary block samples including nine limestones and eleven mudstones,taken from Kalidromo(central Greece)in accordance with ASTM and ISRM ***,mineralogical and petrographic properties,textural characteristics as well as X-ray diffractions were studied and the obtained results were statistically described and *** maximum and minimum values of the texture coefficient were 0.13 and 0.50,*** highest value was obtained for the rocks with a large amount of *** analyses were used to investigate the relationships between the texture coefficient and the engineering ***,empirical equations were developed and because of the good determination coefficients,they showed that all of the engineering properties were well correlated to the texture coefficient.

Objective:The aim of this study was to explore the burden of care for patients undergoing hemodialysis from the experiences of family ***:In this qualitative study,a content analysis approach was used for data collection and *** were 16 family caregivers selected through purposive sampling from four medical education centers affiliated with Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences,***-structured interviews were held to collect ***:Four categories were developed as follows:‘care challenges’,‘psychological vulnerabilities’,‘the chronic nature of care’and“care in the shade”.The categories led to the development of the main theme of‘progressive exhaustion’experienced by the family caregivers during the provision of care to patients undergoing ***:Family caregivers have a significant role in the process of patient care,and this role leads them to progressive exhaustion;therefore,the overall health of the caregivers should be taken into account and more attention should be paid to their quality of life,social welfare,and satisfaction level.

Accelerating methods are used to enhance TCP performance over satellite links by employing Performance Enhancement Proxies (PEPs). However, providing a secure connection through the PEPs seems to be impossible. In this paper an appropriate method is proposed in order to provide an accelerated secure E2E connection. We show an efficient secure three-party protocol, based on public key infrastructure (PKI), which provides security against spiteful adversaries. Our construction is based on applying asymmetric cryptography techniques to the original IKE protocol. Security protocols use cryptography to set up private communication channels on an insecure network. Many protocols contain flaws, and because security goals are seldom specified in detail, we cannot be certain what constitute a flaw. Proofing security properties is essential for the development of secure protocol. We give a logic analysis of the proposed protocol with the BAN-logic and discuss the security of the protocol. The result indicates that the protocol is correct and satisfies the security requirements of Internet key exchange. Based on the results of this preliminary analysis, we have implemented a prototype of our security protocol and evaluated its performance and checked safety properties of security protocol, and the results show that the protocol is robust and safe against major security threats.

BACKGROUND Cardiac conduction disorders and electrocardiographic(ECG)changes may occur as a manifestation of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),especially in severe *** To describe conduction system disorders and their association with other electrocardiographic parameters in patients who died of *** In this cross-sectional study,electrocardiographic and clinical data of 432 patients who expired from COVID-19 between August 1st,2021,and December 1st,2021,in a tertiary hospital were *** Among 432 patients who died from COVID-19,atrioventricular block(AVB)was found in 40(9.3%).Among these 40 patients,28(6.5%)suffered from 1st degree AVB,and 12(2.8%)suffered from complete heart block(CHB).Changes in ST-T wave,compatible with myocardial infarction or localized myocarditis,appeared in 189(59.0%).Findings compatible with myocardial injury,such as fragmented QRS and prolonged QTc,were found in 91 patients(21.1%)and 28 patients(6.5%),*** patients who died of COVID-19,conduction disorder was unrelated to any underlying medical *** QRS,axis deviation,and ST-T changes were significantly related to conduction system disorder in patients who died of COVID-19(P value<0.05).CONCLUSION Conduction system disorders are associated with several other ECG abnormalities,especially those indicative of myocardial ischemia or *** patients(73.14%)who died of COVID-19 demonstrated at least one ECG abnormality *** a COVID-19 patient's ECG gives important information regarding their cardiac health,our findings can help develop a risk stratification method for at-risk COVID-19 patients in future studies.
