目的:比较1980～2005年在武汉大学口腔医院治疗的89位中国病人和在约旦医院治疗的120位病人三型口底囊肿的临床特点.方法:回顾性分析皮样囊肿、表皮样囊肿和畸胎样囊肿患者的年龄、性别、种族,以及比较两组患者的囊肿位置、大小、就诊时间、手术治疗方法和复发率等方面的差别.结果:209例口底囊肿中,93例(44.5%)男性,116例(55.5%)女性.皮样囊肿66例(31.6%)、表皮样囊肿115例(55%)、畸胎样囊肿28例(13.4%).皮样囊肿、表皮样囊肿多见于头3个10岁年龄组,20～29岁高发,而畸胎样囊肿高好发于10岁以前.约90%的患者无自觉症状.发病后6个月以内就诊者,第1组(43.8%)明显少于第2组(80%).这些先天性囊肿常发生在口底中部.就诊时第1组中囊肿直径大于3 cm 者达48.3%,而第2组中囊肿直径大于3 cm 者仅11.7%.第1组中经口外进路切除病变占58.4%,而第2组为41.7%.141例随访病例的术后复发25例,复发率是17.7%.结论:两组口底囊肿有类似的临床特点,其中表皮样囊肿较常见,畸胎样囊肿的发病年龄较小.手术切除不彻底可导致病变复发.

This paper deals with a design approach of a gait training machine based on a quantitative gait analysis. The proposed training machine is composed of a body weight support device and a cable-driven parallel robot. This paper is focused on the cable-driven robot, which controls the pose of the lower limb through an orthosis placed on the patient＇s leg. The cable robot reproduces a normal gait movement through the motion of the orthosis. A motion capture system is used to perform the quantitative analysis of a normal gait, which will be used as an input to the inverse dynamic model of the cable robot. By means of an optimization algorithm, the optimal design parameters, which minimize the tensions in the cables, are determined. Two constraints are considered, i.e., a non-negative tension in the cables at all times, and a free cable/end-effector collision. Once the optimal solution is computed, a power analysis is carried out in order to size the robot actuators. The proposed approach can be easily extended for the design study of a similar type of cable robots.

This article is not inspired by any religion or quantum many-worlds interpretation. The mathematics of multiverse is presented here. The mass operator was introduced earlier by Alnobani. This operator is used here to deduce the time state. It is found that time has four states and those four states are orthogonal. Time is the constitution of any verse. Time has direction. Every orthogonal direction of time belongs to a verse. Past and future belong to opposite directions of time and they are arbitrary. Other verses are there by their own and not a probabilities of any other verse and if any similarity it is only a coincidence. Among applications of this thesis is travelling through groups of galaxies, or more or less.

A New Energy Concept

According to the uncertainties in the results and the wide diversity of how to approach the subject, a new concept for energy is proposed： Energy is an exchange between two different concentrations, the concentration of time in space outside what we call matter and the concentrated phase of time in matter space which is the matter itself. The concept of motion for energy is replaced by time-space interactions with time taken as solid matter. Motion enhances the exchange between the mass and its surrounding time in space, annihilation and creation are special forms of this exchange. during the motion of a mass, it increases as a result of this dissolution. Time concentration in Fock space is responsible for the collision phenomena in physics. In this paper, a new mathematical operator （the equal operator） is introduced.

Methods which calculate state feedback matrices explicitly for uncontrollable systems are considered in this paper. They are based on the well-known method of the entire eigenstructure assignment. The use of a particular similarity transformation exposes certain intrinsic properties of the closed loop w-eigenvectors together with their companion z-vectors. The methods are extended further to deal with multi-input control systems. Existence of eigenvectors solution is established. A differentiation property of the z-vectors is proved for the repeated eigenvalues assignment case. Two examples are worked out in detail.

A state feedback method of reduced order for eigenvalue assignment is developed in this paper. It offers immediate assignment of m eigenvalues, with freedom to assign the remaining n-m eigenvalues. The method also enjoys a systematic one-step application in the case where the system has a square submatrix. Further simplification is also possible in certain cases. The method is shown to be applicable to uncontrollable systems, offering the simplest control law when having maximum uncontrollable eigenvalues.

In our case, we present a case of a 27-year-old male who presented with progressively worsening altered mental status and seizures. Over the course of his admission to the hospital and intensive care unit, laboratory testing failed to find an offending agent to his presentation. Testing did result in the diagnosis of encephalitis, but an underlying cause was not found. After careful exclusion of bacterial, viral, and other types of encephalopathy, autoimmune encephalopathy was diagnosed despite the absence of commonly used markers of autoimmune encephalopathy. The presentation and symptoms of our patient led to a wide range of differentials, and a high index of suspicion was needed throughout his admission in order to obtain the appropriate tests. Although appropriate testing might be ordered, due to the sensitivities and specificities of all laboratory tests, these objective tests do produce false negative results at times. It is in these times that one must weigh the physical exam, clinical judgment, and the process of elimination to diagnose an underlying pathology. Autoimmune Encephalitis diagnosis can be broken down into possible, probable, and definitive diagnoses based on antibody testing results. In this case, we present a patient with probable autoimmune encephalitis that failed to yield positive autoimmune markers after extensive testing of other possible causes of encephalitis.

In this letter,single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWCNT)coating was used on the d-shaped silica fiber for ethanol sensing in aqueous *** performance of this structure as an ethanol sensor was studied here by monitoring output power variation and wavelength shift with changing ethanol *** the concentration range of 5%—50%of ethanol,the SWCNT coated structure showed an improved sensitivity compared to the uncoated *** sensitivity is improved from 0.0135 dB/%to 0.0409 dB/%with the *** SWCNT coated sample also showed a peak wavelength shift of 0.1 nm with the change of ethanol concentration in the same range.
