Catalytic effects of V-and O-species derived from PrF_(3)/V_(2)C for efficient hydrogen storage in MgH_(2)

Magnesium hydride(MgH_(2))is considered as an ideal hydrogen storage material with excellent hydrogen capacity,but the slow kinetics impedes its ***,an efficient additive of V2C MXene-anchored PrF_(3) nanoparticles(PrF_(3)/V_(2)C)was synthesized,which presents excellent catalytic effect in improving the reversibility and stability of hydrogen storage in MgH_(2).The initial dehydrogenation temperature of the 5 wt.% PrF_(3)/V_(2)C-containing MgH_(2)(182℃) is 105℃ lower than that of pure MgH_(2),and 6.5 wt.%hydrogen is rapidly released from 5 wt.%PrF_(3)/V_(2)C-added MgH_(2)sample in 6 min at 240℃.In addition,5 wt.%PrF_(3)/V_(2)C-containing MgH_(2) sample possesses outstanding reversible hydrogen storage capability of 6.5 wt.% after 10 cycles of dehydrogenation and *** analysis shows that the introduction of Pr improves the stability of V-species(V^(0)and V^(2+))and O-species(lattice oxygen(ol)and vacancy oxygen(OV))formed during ball milling,promotes the interaction between V-species and O-species,and enhances their reversibility,which contributes to the significant improvement in re/dehydrogenation reversibility and cycling stability of MgH_(2).This study provides effective ideas and strategies for the purpose of designing and fabricating high-efficient catalysts for solid-state hydrogen storage materials.

Methionine(Met)is an essential and first limiting amino acid in the poultry diet that plays a significant role in chicken embryonic development and *** present study examined the effect of in ovo injection of Dl-Met and l-Met sources and genotypes on chicken embryonic-intestinal development and *** eggs of the two genotypes,TETRA-Sl layer hybrid(TSl)—commercial layer hybrid and Hungarian Partridge colored hen breed(HPC)—a native genotype,were randomly distributed into four treatments for each *** treatment groups include the following:1)control non-injected eggs(NoIn);2)saline-injected(SaIn);3)Dl-Met injected(DlM);and 4)l-Met injected(lM).The in ovo injection was carried out on 17.5 d of embryonic development;after hatching,eight chicks per group were sacrificed,and the jejunum was extracted for *** results showed that both DlM and lM groups had enhanced intestinal development as evidenced by increased villus width,villus height,and villus area(PlM group had significantly reduced crypt depth,glutathione(GSH)content,glutathione S-transferase 3 alpha(GST3),occludin(OClN)gene expression and increased villus height to crypt depth ratio in the TSl genotype than the lM group(Plin-like growth factor 1(IGF1)gene,tricellulin(MD2),occludin(OClN),superoxide dismutase 1(SOD1),and GST3 genes than the TSl genotype(Plusion,these findings showed that in ovo injection of Met enhanced intestinal development,and function,with genotypes responding differently under normal *** also influenced the expression of intestinal antioxidants,tight junction,and growth-related genes.

Impact of low-temperature Storage on Volatile Flavor Compounds in Prepared Pork Products

[Objectives]This study was conducted to explore the dynamic changes of volatile flavor compounds in prepared pork during storage at different low-temperature conditions.[Methods]Prepared pork was stored at 4,-4 and-18℃.The volatile flavor compounds of prepared pork were determined by solid-phase microextraction-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(SPME-GC-MS)at days 0,7,14,21 and 28,and relative odor activity value(OAV),principal component analysis(PCA)and cluster analysis(CA)were combined to analyze changes in volatile flavor compounds of prepared pork during storage.[Results]The total number of volatile flavor compounds gradually decreased with the prolongation of the storage period,and OAV analysis identified 22 key flavor compounds(OAV≥1).The results of PCA and CA showed that 2-methyl-1-butanol,1-octen-3-ol,linalool,cineole,hexanal and nonanal were the main key flavor components,and the degree of flavor degradation was low under both superchilling and freezing *** 28 days of storage,the alcohol content in the chilling group was significantly higher than other two groups,and the overall content of volatile flavor compounds was also significantly higher than other two groups,indicating that the-4℃chilling storage was more favorable for maintaining the overall flavor of prepared pork.[Conclusions]This study provides a theoretical basis for finding a better storage method for prepared meat products.

BACKGROUND long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs) are a kind of single-stranded RNA of more than 200 nucleotides in length and have no protein-coding function. Amounting studies have indicated that lncRNAs could play a vital role in the initiation and development of cancers, including gastric cancer(GC). Considering the crucial functions of lncRNAs, the identification and exploration of novel lncRNAs in GC is *** To identify independent prognostic markers for the whole gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumor(GEP-NET) *** Ninety-three patients diagnosed with GEP-NETs within a specified period were included in this study. Patient data were retrospectively analyzed. The relationships between all independent variables and 5-year survival status calculated during the follow-up period(months) were assessed. In addition, the relationships between the independent variables were *** When 5-year survival rate was compared, a statistically significant relationship between the age at diagnosis, male gender, tumor size, tumor stage, liver and/or distant metastasis, and tumor grade determined by the Ki-67 level and mitotic count, and the level of C-reactive protein(CRP), was observed. The meansurvival(overall survival) of the study group was 102.5 ± 6.3(SD) mo. The percentages of 1, 3 and 5-year survival were 90%, 72%, and 61%, respectively. In63 of 93 patients, Ki-67 and the mitotic count determined the same grade. The Ki-67 levels in 29 patients and the mitotic count in only 1 patient were in the higher grade. The risk of death increased by 4% for every 1 year increase at the diagnosis age and was 2.0-fold higher for male patients, 3.0-fold higher for G3 according to the mitotic count, 3.7-fold higher for G3 according to the Ki-67 level, 12.7-fold higher for cases with tumor stage 3 or 4 by a 1 cm increase in the ratio of 9% in tumor size, and 6.1-fold higher for patients with liver metastasis for every 1 mg/dl increase in the ratio of 1.5% in CR

中国跨地区劳动力流动壁垒:测度方法、演进趋势与决定因素

要素自由流动是畅通国内大循环的重要组成部分,但劳动力在不同地区间的流动壁垒仍然是国内大循环的堵点,阻碍了统一大市场与新发展格局的形成。本文在人口迁移选择理论的基础上,基于跨地区劳动力流动数量提出了一种反推相对跨地区劳动力流动壁垒的测算方法,运用中国1990—2015年历次人口普查以及抽样调查数据,对跨地区劳动力流动壁垒进行了测算与分析。研究发现:中国跨地区劳动力流动壁垒始终保持快速下降趋势,但在不同地区的下降幅度并不均衡;东部地区劳动力流动壁垒的下降幅度远高于其他地区,而东北地区劳动力流动壁垒最为严重。进一步地,本文基于推拉理论将劳动力流动壁垒分解为自然壁垒与制度壁垒,结果发现虽然自然壁垒与制度壁垒均大幅降低,但在基础设施建设的驱动下,自然壁垒的下降幅度远高于制度壁垒。在基础设施建设对削弱劳动力流动壁垒边际效应逐步递减的情形下,破除制度壁垒已经成为中国畅通跨地区劳动力流动的关键因素。本文为构建新发展格局提供了支撑,为破除跨地区劳动力流动壁垒、畅通国内大循环提供了决策依据。

lipid reserves and immune defense in healthy and diseased migrating monarchs Danaus plexippus

Recent studies suggest that the energetic demands of long-distance migration might lower the pool of resources available for costly immune defenses. Moreover, migration could amplify the costs of parasitism if animals suffering from para- site-induced damage or depleted energy reserves are less able to migrate long distances. We investigated relationships between long-distance migration, infection, and immunity in wild fall-migrating monarch butterflies Danaus plexippus. Monarchs migrate annually from eastern North America to central Mexico, accumulating lipids essential for migration and winter survival as they travel southward. Monarchs are commonly infected by the debilitating protozoan parasite Ophryocystis elektroscirrha （OE）. We collected data on lipid reserves, parasite loads, and two immune measures （hemocyte concentration and phenoloxidase activity） from wild monarchs migrating through north GA （USA） to ask whether （1） parasite infection negatively affects lipid reserves, and （2） greater investment in lipid reserves is associated with lower immune measures. Results showed that monarchs sampled later in the fall migration had lower but not significantly different immune measures and significantly higher lipid reserves than those sampled earlier. lipid measures correlated negatively but only nearly significantly with one measure of immune defense （phenoloxidase activity） in both healthy and infected monarchs, but did not depend on monarch infection status or parasite load. These results provide weak support for a trade-off between energy reserves and immune defense in migrants, and suggest that previously-demonstrated costs of OE infection for monarch migration are not caused by depleted lipid reserves .
