BACKGROUND Dedifferent.at.d liposarcoma(DDLS)has a worse prognosis and occurs most.commonly in t.e ret.operit.neal region and rarely in t.e int.aperit.neal *** diagnosis was revolut.onized by t.e combined cont.ibut.ons of hist.immuno-chemist.y and molecular *** from surgery,t.ere is no consensus on t.e opt.mal t.eat.ent.for t.is chemoresist.nt.*** SUMMARY A t.irt.-year-old black female present.d wit. a large painful abdominal mass occupying nearly t.e ent.re abdomen and progressive weight.loss was admit.ed for *** comput.d t.mography showed a large het.rogeneous mass of t.e mesent.ry t.at.was sized 18 cm×16 cm in size and had het.rogeneous cont.ast.*** laparot.my,en bloc excision of t.e large and mult.lobulat.d gast.ocolic ligament.mass was *** init.al post.perat.ve hist.pat.ological diagnosis was undifferent.at.d ***,t.e result. of immunohist.chemist.y and molecular biology allowed us t. confirm t.e diagnosis of *** t.mour followed an aggressive evolut.on wit. diffuse met.st.sis,causing t.e deat. of t.e pat.ent.less t.an 5 mo aft.r t.e *** Dedifferent.at.d liposarcomas are rare t.mours t.at.t.pically originat. in t.e ret.operit.neum but.may arise in unexpect.d locat.ons.
