t.e mult.ple met.l cat.lyst.as a promising na.o.at.rial has shown excellent.act.vit. in t.e peroxymonosulfat.(PMS)act.vat.on for pollut.nt.***,t.e role of special sit.2} and in-dept. underst.nding of t.e PMS act.vat.on mechanism are not.fully *** t.is st.dy,a Cu-doped CoFe_(2)o_(4)na.o.at.lyst.0.5CCF)was synt.esized by a sol-gel and calcinat.on met.od,and used for PMS act.vat.on t. remove Rhodamine B(RhB).t.e result. showed t.at.t.e Cu doping obviously enhanced t.e cat.lyt.c performance of CoFe_(2)o_(4),wit. 99.70%of RhB removed by 0.5CCF while 74.91%in t.e CoFe_(2)o_(4)wit.in 15 *** on t.e X-ray phot.elect.on spect.oscopy and elect.ochemical analysis,t.is could be ascribed t. t.e more low valence of Co and Fe species generat.d on t.e 0.5CCF and fast.r elect.on t.ansfers occurred in t.e 0.5CCF due t. t.e Cu *** addit.on,Cu doping could provide more react.on sit.2} for t.e 0.5CCF t. act.vat. PMS for RhB *** met.l species and t.e surface hydroxyl were t.e react.on sit.2} of PMS act.vat.on,and t.e surface hydroxyl played an import.nt.role in surface-bound react.ve species *** t.e PMS act.vat.on,t.e Cu not.only act.vat.d PMS t. produce react.ve oxygen species(RoS),but.also regenerat.d Co^(2+)and Fe^(2+)t. accelerat. t.e PMS *** non-radical of ^(1)o_(2)was t.e main RoS wit. a 99.35%of cont.ibut.on rat.,and t.e So_(5)^(·–)self-react.on was it. ma.o. *** st.dy provides a new insight.t. enhance t.e PMS act.vat.on performance of mult.ple met.l cat.lyst. by Cu doping in wast.wat.r t.eat.ent.

Nema.o.e body size is a t.ait.t.at.responds t. climat. change and is used as a st.ndard t.ait.based indica.o. in soil communit. analysis. Variat.ons in body size influence met.2}ic carbon(C). We examined t.e ways by which body size and met.2}ic C of nema.o.es respond t. changing precipit.t.on regimes and how N deposit.on regulat.0} t.ese responses by an 8-year manipulat.ve *** Nema.o.e body size was indicat.d by t.e communit.-weight.d mean(CWM) mass. We quant.fied C met.2}ism component. of soil nema.o.es including product.on C, respirat.on C, and corresponding C use efficiency(CUE) under different.precipit.t.on int.nsit.es and N addit.on in a semi-arid st.ppe on t.e mongolian Plat.au. t.e Mant.l t.0}t.was used t. det.rmine t.e correlat.ons bet.een CWM, CUE and environment.l fact.rs. t.e part.al least.squares pat. modeling(PLS-PM) was conduct.d t. quant.fy direct.or indirect.cont.ibut.ons a.o.g lat.nt.*** We found t.at.heavy precipit.t.on int.nsit. increased t.e CWM mass of t.t.l nema.o.es and omnivorespreda.o.s wit.out.N addit.on.
