Does dutasteride reduce the bleeding in transurethral resection of the prostate in patients on antiplatelet drugs?

目的制备抗白细胞介素1β(IL-1β)纳米抗体, 并观察其对缺氧小鼠心肌细胞凋亡的影响。方法利用DNA重组技术, 使用pET-16b和pHEN1表达载体构建抗IL-1β纳米抗体的重组质粒(pET-16b-4G6M-VHH、pET-16b-5BVP-VHH、pET-16b-5MVZ-VHH和pHEN1-4G6M-VHH、pHEN1-5BVP-VHH、pHEN1-5MVZ-VHH, 其中VHH为重链单域抗体, 4G6M-VHH、5BVP-VHH、5MVZ-VHH分别为3种抗IL-1β的纳米抗体), 将构建成功的质粒分别转入大肠杆菌Rosetta2(DE3)表达菌中进行诱导表达及镍柱纯化, 用十二烷基硫酸钠-聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳(SDS-PAGE)和Western印迹对表达产物及纯化产物进行鉴定, 并通过酶联免疫吸附试验(ELISA)测定其亲和力。将纯化所得亲和力最高的抗IL-1β纳米抗体(pHEN1-5MVZ-VHH)应用于小鼠HL-1心肌细胞缺氧模型(分为正常对照组、缺氧模型组、空白质粒组及12.5、25.0、50.0 μg/ml pHEN1-5MVZ-VHH处理组), 并检测细胞存活率及凋亡率。结果 SDS-PAGE和Western印迹结果显示, 成功得到相对分子质量约15 000的抗IL-1β纳米抗体;ELISA结果显示, 与pET-16b载体组相比, pHEN1载体组所表达的纳米抗体与IL-1β抗原的亲和力更高(4G6M-VHH组:3.20±0.03比1.20±0.03, P<0.001;5BVP-VHH组:3.18±0.06比1.21±0.02, P<0.001;5MVZ-VHH组:3.38±0.05比1.62±0.04, P<0.001);细胞存活及凋亡检测结果显示, 与缺氧模型组相比, 25.0 μg/ml及50.0 μg/ml pHEN1-5MVZ-VHH处理组HL-1细胞活性增加[(75.55±2.23)%比(46.90±2.51)%, P<0.001;(74.36±1.96)%比(46.90±2.51)%, P<0.001], 凋亡率降低[(6.83±0.27)%比(10.24±0.76)%, P<0.001;(6.68±0.38)%比(10.24±0.76)%, P<0.001]。结论 pET-16b和pHEN1载体均能表达出抗IL-1β纳米抗体, 且pHEN1载体表达的纳米抗体具有更好的抗原亲和作用。此外, pHEN1-5MVZ-VHH治疗可减少缺氧小鼠心肌细胞凋亡。

A Taxonomy of Exact Methods for Partial Max-SAT

Partial Maximum Boolean Satisfiability （Partial Max-SAT or PMSAT） is an optimization variant of Boolean satisfiability （SAT） problem, in which a variable assignment is required to satisfy all hard clauses and a maximum number of soft clauses in a Boolean formula. PMSAT is considered as an interesting encoding domain to many reaHife problems for which a solution is acceptable even if some constraints are violated. Amongst the problems that can be formulated as such are planning and scheduling. New insights into the study of PMSAT problem have been gained since the introduction of the Max-SAT evaluations in 2006. Indeed, several PMSAT exact solvers have been developed based mainly on the Davis- Putnam-Logemann-Loveland （DPLL） procedure and Branch and Bound （B^B） algorithms. In this paper, we investigate and analyze a number of exact methods for PMSAT. We propose a taxonomy of the main exact methods within a general framework that integrates their various techniques into a unified perspective. We show its effectiveness by using it to classify PMSAT exact solvers which participated in the 2007~2011 Max-SAT evaluations, emphasizing on the most promising research directions.

LES of rotating film-cooling performance in a 1-1/2 turbine stage

Effects of Rate and Source Organo-Mineral Material on Forage Yield and Nutritive Value of Barley-Pea Mixed under Arid Conditions

Cereal-legume intercropping plays a vital role in the subsistence food production system that prevails in the arid *** not only provides profitable crop productivity for agricultural communities but also plays an important role in improving soil ***,the present research was conducted to assess the effect of the organic and mineral fertilizers on the forage yield and nutritional value in barley-pea intercropping *** results revealed that the quality of forage grass is significantly influenced by both organic and inorganic ***,organic fertilizer application has significantly influenced the dry matter(DM),crude ash(CA),crude protein(CP),neutral detergent fiber(NDF),and acid detergent fiber(ADF).Among the treatments,organic fertilizer added at rate of 35 m^(−3) ha^(−1) produced the maximum fresh and dry matter in barley and *** addition,the same level of organic fertilizer also improved silage composition by significantly increasing the protein and fiber content and showed highest the *** on overall results,it is concluded that organic fertilizer treatment(35 m^(−3) ha^(−1))has the potential as an effective strategy to improve the productivity and nutritional quality of the barley-pea intercropping system in arid *** results revealed that organic fertilizer can be utilized in sustainable agricultural as a source of nutrients for numerous various crops under arid conditions.

Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation: Effects on Motor and Non-Motor Symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease

Introduction: In the last thirty years, brain neuromodulation techniques have been used as an alternative to pharmacological treatment of neurological disorders. Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative disorder leading to bradykinesia, rest tremor, postural changes, and non-motor symptoms such as depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, pain, and cognitive decline that compromises executive functions (EFs), responsible for the orderly execution of behaviors and tasks of daily life and intentional and directed actions. To this date, a few studies with transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) have shown beneficial effects in PD patients concerning specific motor and non-motor symptoms, targeting the motor cortex and/or prefrontal regions. Objective: The main objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of left prefrontal tDCS across a broad spectrum of motor and non-motor symptoms of PD using established validated scales. Method: Single-blind randomized clinical trial with 18 volunteers with PD, aged between 45 and 80 years (66.1 ± 9.65), who met inclusion and exclusion criteria. Participants were submitted to assessments of motor and non-motor functions employing psychometric scales and tests to evaluate EFs and were randomly divided into two groups: control (sham stimulation) and experimental (active stimulation). all participants were involved in three separate tDCS sessions. The anode was positioned over the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and the cathode over the right supraorbital region, with a direct current intensity of 2 mA, lasting 20 minutes. At the end of the three sessions, all participants were reassessed. Results: Significant effects of tDCS on non-motor functions were observed for cognition (verbal fluency of actions, clock copy test, appointment by visual confrontation, and verbal memory with immediate free recall) and subjective assessment of sleep quality (overall restlessness and discomfort in the arms and legs at night, leg

Histopathological alterations in the liver and intestine of Nile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus exposed to long-term sublethal concentrations of cadmium chloride

Fingerlings of Nile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus were exposed to 1.68, 3.36, and 5.04 mg/L cadmium(as CdCl2), which represent 10%, 20%, and 30% of their previously determined 96-h LC5 0. After exposure for 20 days, sections of the liver and intestine of treated fish were examined histologically. Histopathological changes varied from slight to severe structural modification, depending on the exposure concentration. The hepatic tissues of fish exposed to 10% LC 50 showed markedly increased vacuolation of the hepatocytes and coarse granulation of their cytoplasm. Abundant erythrocytic infiltration among the hepatocytes was observed in fish exposed to 20% LC5 0. In the intestinal tissues of fish exposed to all doses, goblet cells proliferated and were greatly increased in size, the longitudinal muscularis mucosa was disturbed and, in the crypts of the sub-mucosal layer, apoptosis increased, indicated by large numbers of degenerated nuclei. Large numbers of inflammatory cells and dilated blood vessels were observed in the intestine of the group treated with 30% LC5 0.

In vitro Evaluation of Seed Germination in Twelve alfalfa Cultivars under Salt Stress

alfalfa(Medicago sativa L.),when exposed to abiotic stress such as salinity,suffers significant losses in yield and *** present study evaluated the salinity tolerance of 12 alfalfa cultivars in vitro using five concentrations of sodium chloride(NaCl),ranging from 0 to 250 mmol L^(−1).The results obtained in the current study revealed that the Saudi cultivars,Kasimi and Hassawi,and the German cultivar(Berlin)had the highest salinity tolerance in terms of germination percentage(GP),corrected germination rate index(CGRI),days to reach 50%germination(GT_(50)),and ability to form cotyledonary and true *** mmol L^(−1) NaCl,the Saudi cultivar Kasimi cultivar showed GP,CGRI,and GT_(50) of 55.20%,123.15,and 3.77 days,***,the German cultivar(Berlin)showed GP,CGRI,and GT_(50) of 50.06%,86.61,and 5.17 days,*** findings might reveal a pivotal aspect in salt tolerance in *** results will help to select salt-tolerant alfalfa cultivars that could thrive in arid and semi-arid areas with salinity problems.
