Grayscale structured surfaces with nanometer-scale features are used in a growing number of applications in optics and *** scanning probe lithography achieves a lateral resolution below 10 nm and a vertical resolution below 1 nm,but its maximum depth in polymers is ***,we present an innovative combination of nanowriting in thermal resist and plasma dry etching with substrate cooling,which achieves up to 10-fold amplification of polymer nanopatterns into SiO_(2) without proportionally increasing surface *** nanopatterns in SiO_(2) with 400 nm pitch and 150 nm depth are fabricated free of shape distortion after dry *** exemplify the possible applications of the proposed method,grayscale dielectric nanostructures are used for scalable manufacturing through nanoimprint lithography and for strain nanoengineering of 2D *** a method for aspect ratio amplification and smooth grayscale nanopatterning has the potential to find application in the fabrication of photonic and nanoelectronic devices.

BACKGROUND Coagulopathy and thromboembolic events are associated with poor outcomes in coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)*** is conflicting evidence on the effects of chronic anticoagulation on mortality and severity of COVID-19 *** To summarize the body of evidence on the effects of pre-hospital anticoagulation on outcomes in COVID-19 *** A Literature search was performed on LitCovid PubMed,WHO,and Scopus databases from inception(december 2019)till June 2023 for original studies reporting an association between prior use of anticoagulants and patient outcomes in adults with *** primary outcome was the risk of thromboembolic events in COVID-19 patients taking *** outcomes included COVID-19 disease severity,in terms of intensive care unit admission or invasive mechanical ventilation/intubation requirement in patients hospitalized with COVID-19 infection,and *** random effects models were used to calculate crude and adjusted odds ratios(aORs)with 95%confidence intervals(95%CIs).RESULTS Forty-six observational studies met our inclusion *** unadjusted analysis found no association between prior anticoagulation and thromboembolic event risk[n=43851,9 studies,odds ratio(OR)=0.67(0.22,2.07);P=0.49;I2=95%].The association between prior anticoagulation and disease severity was non-significant[n=186782;22 studies,OR=1.08(0.78,1.49);P=0.64;I2=89%].However,pre-hospital anticoagulation significantly increased all-cause mortality risk[n=207292;35 studies,OR=1.72(1.37,2.17);P<0.00001;I2=93%].Pooling adjusted estimates revealed a statistically non-significant association between pre-hospital anticoagulation and thromboembolic event risk[aOR=0.87(0.42,1.80);P=0.71],mortality[aOR=0.94(0.84,1.05);P=0.31],and disease severity[aOR=0.96(0.72,1.26);P=0.76].CONCLUSION Prehospital anticoagulation was not significantly associated with reduced risk of thromboembolic events,improved survival,and lower disease seve

The current study investigated the sorption process of heavy metals, especially lead (Pb2+) and Zinc (Zn2+), in Municipal Solid Waste Incineration (MSWI) fly ash applying natural zeolite, namely mordenite, as an inexpensive adsorbent to assess its feasibility for the treatment of fly ash. Batch experiments were performed to investigate the effects of the influential parameters, such as metals initial ion concentration, dosage of adsorbent, liquid to solid (L/S) ratio, and equilibrium concentration of metal on the immobilization of Pb2+ and Zn2+, in a novel approach. Heavy metals removal efficiency increased with increasing the dosage of mordenite influenced by the media-specific surface area. Heavy metals adsorption is ascribed to various mechanisms of ion exchange and adsorption processes. The Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models were investigated using the adsorption data. The adsorption process describes better in the Freundlich isotherm model compared to the Langmuir isotherm model with a high determination co-efficient (R2), especially for the adsorption of Pb2+. In addition, the affinity of mordenite to Pb2+ was shown to be higher than that of Zn2+. This allows the use of mordenite to capture of Pb2+ in MSWI fly ash. Results raise expectations about using mordenite as a low-cost material for treating MSWI fly ashes. The results show that heavy metal (Pb2+ and Zn2+) removed by mordenite adsorbent is practical and effective. In order to achieve the higher efficiency on heavy metal stabilization in MSWI fly ash, additional experiments are necessary.

Zinc oxide was synthesized from zinc sulphate using different reducing agents under microwave irradia- tion. The influence of sodium borohydride, hydrazine hydrate and urea on the shape and size of the products were investigated by scanning electron microscopy （SEM） and X-ray diffraction （XRD）. SEM showed the nano-sized spherical and rectangular shaped structures in case of sodium borohydride and hydrazine hydrate, whereas micro-sized hexagonal structures were formed in case of urea under the same irradiation power. The reducing agents played an important role in forming the various structures. Thus different shapes and size of structures were produced by only varying the reducing agent, which had wide applications in various fields.

Alumina nanoparticles （A1NP） were synthe- sized from aluminium nitrate using extracts of tea, coffee and triphala--a well known herbal plant as well as a non- toxic and eco--friendly green material. The synthesis was carried out taking 1：4 ratio of metal salt and these extracts under microwave irradiations at 540 W, which gave better yield of nanoparticles. Water was taken as solvent medium. The formations of A1NP were initially monitored by the colour changes occurring in the reaction mixture during the incubation period. As synthesized nanoparticles were characterized by scanning electron microscope （SEM）, UV-Visible （UV-Vis） spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FTIR）. The A1NP were found to be spherical in shape in case of tea and coffee extracts with a size of 50-200 nm and to be oval shaped in case of triphala extract with an average size of 200-400 nm. The formation of A1NP with the microwave-assistance using these plant extracts has proved to be very faster than any other methods. In addition, excellent reproducibility of these nanoparticles, without the use of any additional capping agent or stabilizer will have great advantages in compari- son with microbial synthesis, avoiding all the tedious and hygienic complications.

In this work,carbon nanosheet（CNS） based electrode was designed for electrochemical biosensing of *** has been obtained by the pyrolysis of barley at 600-750℃ in a muffle furnace：it was then purified and *** CNS has been characterized by scanning electron microscopy（SEM）.X-ray diffraction（XRD） and Raman spectroscopic *** electrochemical activity of CNS-based electrode was investigated by linear sweep vollammetry（LSV） and square wave voltammetry（SWV）,for the oxidation of glucose in 0.001 M H2SO4（pH 6.0）.The linear range of the sensor was found to be 10-4-10-6M（1-100 μM） within the response time of 4 ***,its sensitivity reached as high as 26.002±0.01 μA/μM *** experiments revealed that the proposed electrode offered an excellent electrochemical activity towards the oxidation of glucose and could be applied for the construction of non-enzymatic glucose biosensors.

以土豆淀粉为原料,通过先在400-500℃空气中炭化,再于800℃裂解制备出杏仁状炭（CNA）颗粒,并组装成高灵敏度和选择性的非酶蔗糖传感器。采用扫描电镜、X射线衍射仪、X射线光电子能谱仪、原子力和荧光显微镜对样品进行表征。通过循环伏安、微分脉冲伏安法及线性扫描法在酸性溶液中对蔗糖进行电化学检测。结果表明,这种新传感器对蔗糖氧化呈现良好的响应,具有宽的线性范围（R2=0.996 79）,高灵敏度（~41.737 25±0.01μAμM-1·cm-2）、低的检测限（1μmol/L）,高的稳定性及短的响应时间（9 s）。
