In physics, the symmetries and their violation always provide deep insights into the Nature. The parity (P) symmetry represents the system is unchanged under the space reflection. The violation of parity, firstly proposed by Lee and Yang and subsequently discovered in 1956, plays the key role in the understanding of the weak interaction which is one of the four basic forces of nature.

Cassava （Manihot esculenta Crantz） sheds its leaves during growth, especially within the tropical dry season. With the production of SAG12-1PT transgenic cassava we want to test the level of leaf retention and altered cytokinin metabolism of transgenic plants via the autoregulatory senescence inhibition system. After confirmation of transgene expression by molecular analysis and phenotype examination in greenhouse plants, two transgenic plant lines, 529-28 and 529-48, were chosen for further investigation. Detached mature leaves of 529-28 plants retained high levels of chlorophyll compared with wild-type leaves after dark-induced senescence treatment. Line 529-28 showed significant drought tolerance as indicated by stay-green capacity after drought stress treatment. Field experiments proved that leaf senescence syndrome was significantly delayed in 529-28 plants in comparison with wild-type and 529-48 plants. Physiological and agronomical characterizations of these plants also revealed that the induced expression of IPT had effects on photosynthesis, sugar allocation and nitrogen partitioning. Importantly, the 529-28 plants accumulated a high level of trans-zeatin-type cytokinins particularly of corresponding storage O-glucosides to maintain cytokinin homeostasis. Our study proves the feasibility of prolonging the leaf life of woody cassava and also sheds light on the control of cytokinin homeostasis in cassava leaves.

AIM：To translate the Glaucoma Quality of Life-15（GQL-15）to Serbian language and asses its validity and reliability in the population of Serbian ***：The study included 177 glaucoma *** parameters（visual acuity,mean defect and square root of loss variance of visual field）and socio-demographic data were *** were stratified according to the Nelson’s glaucoma staging system as mild,moderate and advanced *** patients filled out the GQL-15 and National Eye Institute Visual Function Questionnaire（NEI-VFQ 25）.The GQL-15 was translated following the internationally-accepted methodology,and its psychometric properties were assessed by using classical test theory and Rasch ***：The mean total score for the GQL-15 was 20.68±*** Cronbach’s alpha coefficient for the whole scale was 0.89（central and near vision,α=0.24;peripheral vision,α=0.85;glare and dark adaptation,α=0.83）.Factor analysis established 4 factors（70.3% of variance）：two corresponding to the original factors and two new factors specific for the Serbian *** GQL-15 score correlated positively with almost all clinical parameters and NEI-VFQ 25 proving good criterion *** of the GQL-15 total score on test-retest confirmed appropriate scale reproducibility（ρ=0.96,P〈0.001）.The GQL-15 discriminated well advanced from mild and moderate *** Rasch analysis we obtained adequate item（0.95）reliability *** all items had infit and outfit mean squares in the accepted ***：Serbian version of the GQL-15 demonstrates adequate reliability and *** version of the GQL-15is a valid instrument for evaluation of quality of life among Serbian speaking patients with glaucoma and can be applied in daily clinical work.

We determine nonlinear transformations between coordinate systems which are mutually in a constant symmetrical accelerated motion. The maximal acceleration limit follows from the kinematical origin and it is an analogue of the maximal velocity in special relativity. We derive the dependence of mass, length, time, Doppler effect, Cerenkov effect and transition radiation angle on acceleration as an analogue phenomenon in special theory of relativity. The last application of our method is the Thomas precession by uniform acceleration and equivalent gravity with the possible role in modern physics and cosmology.

This is a study of German Labor Sport organizations and unions in Slovakia in the time parameters area 1918-1938 German workers living in Slovakia started to found their own union after 1918. They got a strong support from similar organizations of German workers living in Sudety. The coordinating role was played by the German Socio-Democratic party in Slovakia. The major concentration of these unions was in Bratislava and Eastern Slovakia. Concerning their specialized field, they can be divided into tourism-practising, physical and sport ones However, the union activities were strongly influenced by political parties. Activities of every union were regional and therefore a strong mutual isolation existed

This article deals with the computational study of the nonlinear Galerkin method, which is the extension of commonly known Faedo-Galerkin method. The weak formulation of the method is derived and applied to the particular Scott-Wang-Showalter reaction-diffusion model concerning the problem of combustion of hydrocarbon gases. The proof of convergence of the method based on the method of compactness is introduced. Presented results of numerical simulations are composed of the computational study, where the nonlinear Galerkin method and Faedo-Galerkin method are compared for the problem with analytical solution and the numerical results of the Scott-Wang-Showalter model in 1D.

An AA3003 aluminum alloy prepared by twin-roll casting was modified by a small amount of zirconium. Annealing at 450 °C led to precipitation of coherent Al3Zr phase and a simultaneous co-precipitation of Mn-richα-Al(Mn,Fe)Si phase. Severe plastic deformation by equal channel angular pressing resulted in the grain refinement and increase of microhardness. Observation by electron back-scatter diffraction and in-situ transmission electron microscopy revealed influence of pre-annealing on microstructure changes during post-deformation heat treatment. Dislocation recovery and precipitation ofα-Al(Mn,Fe)Si particles preceded recrystallization at 450 °C in material which was not annealed before deformation. The pre-deformation annealing enabled dynamic recovery during deformation as it depleted the solid solution from Mn atoms. Recrystallization was enhanced by Al3Zr precipitates.

Clenched fist injury complicated by septic arthritis and osteomyelitis treated with negative pressure wound therapy： One case report

We reported a 30 years old man who suffered a bite wound of the right hand in a fight. Two days after the injury, he was admitted in emergency because of stab wound above the head of the third metacarpal bone. He presented the swelling, redness, pain and fever. Primary revision confirmed only partial lesion of the extensor apparatus. During the following days, we recorded a deterioration of local findings and magnetic resonance imaging revealed osteomyelitis and septic arthritis of the third metacarpophalangeal joint. The wound was then revised several times using negative pressure wound therapy in combination with intravenous antibiotics. After resolution of clinical and laboratory findings, the wound was finally closed by delayed primary suture. Clenched fist injury is a medical emergency that requires immediate surgical revision. We treated clenched fist injury with the development of septic arthritis and osteo- myelitis with negative pressure wound therapy and obtained good outcomes.
