A Novel Approach to Measure the Total Antioxidant Power of Wines through Near Infrared Spectroscopy and Its Relevance in Human Nutrition

Wine is the product of the alcoholic fermentation of the grape (Vitis vinifera). As such, it is a hydroalcoholic solution with a variable content of nutritional and functional (polyphenols) molecules, the latter involved in its antioxidant potential. The organoleptic variables of wine, together with its potential positive effects on health of a light-moderate intake, have always been topics of great interest within the cultures. In the label of wine, alcohol is the only declared variable. On the other hand, there is no information about the content of “positive” molecules, such as those associated with the antioxidant power. This value could be very important to classify the wines, helping oenologist and nutritionist in qualifying them as a component of Mediterranean diet. Moreover, one of the most critical aspects in evaluating the role of wine in human health through epidemiological prospective studies is the quality of the products used and their antioxidant potential. This research aimed to optimize and validate an analytical approach based on a portable device (SCIO?), using NIRS (near-infrared reflectance spectroscopy). It allows the measure of TAP (total antioxidant power) of wine through the glass. Research findings are promising. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time that an easy-to-use and cheap hand-held scanner is validated to measure the TAP of a beverage.

Background: Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is the generation of cytotoxic agents through the dynamic interaction between a photosensitizer excited by light at a specific wavelength. When associated with phthalocyanines, they are efficient in incorporating target cells and exhibiting high rates of triplet generation. This study aimed to characterize PDT associated with the phototherapeutic agent Phthalomethyl D, developed by the authors, in the process of repair, healing and immune improvement for possible application against SARS-CoV-2. Methods: Sixty-nine mice were used, divided into 2 groups: GI, treated with ILIB laser, without a phototherapeutic agent, and subjected to surgery for viral induction;GII, same as GI plus association of Phthalomethyl D. They were divided into subgroups and reevaluated at 7, 14, and 21 days, and then divided into 3 subgroups of 6 animals each, subjected to treatment at 24 h, 48 h, 72 h, 5 and 7 days. Results: Both groups had a high rate of partial incision closure and acute inflammatory control. Microscopically, there was a greater amount of amorphous fundamental substance, fibrocytes, fibroblasts, and giant cells and reduction in the number of keratinocytes, in the amount of keratin, and epidermal thickness in GII than in GI. Conclusions: PDT with Phthalomethyl D stimulates the processes of healing/repair and immunomodulation during viral infection, initially favoring the inflammatory response and, after 21 days, contributing to the anti-inflammatory response profile, making this approach possible in the treatment of individuals infected with SARS-CoV-2.

Wounds are a serious public health problem in our country. Access to effective, low-cost treatment is still far from the reality for many patients leading to a chronic and serious condition. They interfere in the quality of life of these individuals who isolate themselves socially constrained by the appearance of their wounds. The report shows the case of a patient with type II diabetes mellitus, with chronic wounds in lymphedema in the lower limbs who was treated with the Scar Acceleration Methodology associated with Complex Decongestive Therapy, leading to an improvement in her social participation and quality of life.

一、观众的出现1897年5月到6月间，在纽约音乐学院首映的《考伯特和菲兹西蒙斯的搏斗》多视角地“呈现”了一场难解难分的重量级拳击比赛，这部近100分钟的电影，随后又在美国其他主要城市上映了数个星期。影片伴随着一位专家的即兴解说，偶尔还被歌舞杂耍表演所打断，是最早的一批达到标准长度的电影之一。但长度并不是《考伯特和菲兹西蒙斯的搏斗》成功的唯一砝码。这部电影吸引了跨越阶级界限的广大观众，评论家们也惊讶地注意到其女性观众数量甚众；据一项在芝加哥的调查，女性占到了这部电影观众数量的60％。不像职业拳击赛的现场是清一色的男性观众，通过影像作为中介，女性也得以接近这种她们以往被排除在外的奇观。当然，这种接近并不同于竞赛现场的参与，那种现场的体验被抽象成视觉的形式，去除了噪音、气味及观众兴奋度等感官影响。但退一步而言，它总归呈现给了女性曾被视为禁忌的影像：半裸着的男性身体，从事着密切接触而激烈对抗的身体运动。近30年之后，随着鲁道夫·瓦伦蒂诺于1926年8月逝世，数以百万计的美国女性涌去看《酋长的儿子》——这位明星最后一部也是最不正经的电影。在这部电影开头的某个镜头里，鲁道夫·瓦伦蒂诺饰演的传奇英雄被一帮长得黑黝黝的坏蛋抓住，他被绑着手腕吊在一座有异国情调的废墟的墙壁上，半裸着身体，然后被长时间地鞭打、辱骂和折磨。尽管影片中用反打镜头对准这群恶棍，将他们呈现为心满意足的看客，表面上像是在拒斥残虐的奇观效果，但上演这种奇观要令谁受益却毫无疑问——这是为银幕前的观众，为那些狂热的女性影迷和消费者准备的。长时间地呈现瓦伦蒂诺裸露的躯体，这种伎俩在他之前的电影里也被证明是成功的，例如《莱提女士的莫兰》（1922）和《博凯尔先生》（1924），这已然成为了一种有效的明星包装的元素。随着瓦伦蒂诺这位广受女性喜爱的偶像声名空前高涨，他也成为了一个象征，象征着性的自由化和商品化，而这也是美国消费文化发展中一个至关重要的特征。这两个场景，不管是分开还是并置，都浓缩了我将探讨的很多议题。首先，它们都通过一种特殊的观看模式鼓动观众，使之成为电影机制的一个基本元素。如同有视觉表现和奇观功能的其他媒介，但又更具系统性和排他性，电影强调通过视觉语言、通过看与被看的感知认同过程去创造意义。但这两个例子也显现出一个重要的差别：在瓦伦蒂诺的例子中，电影通过特殊的表现和处理的策略预设着一类观众——特定的女性观众。而在《考伯特和菲兹西蒙斯的搏斗》这个例子中，该片之所以能获得女性观众的青睐还多少有些偶然性。电影是何时认识到观众是展开文本的一个条件、是电影话语处理的一种假设性指向的呢？这种认识是如何发生的？又达到了何种效果呢？而一旦这种策略变成了规则，这对作为一群复数的、社会的观众中的一分子的观看者来说又意味着什么呢？

脂质是一类重要的代谢物,参与能量动态平衡,构筑细胞膜,信号转导等诸多生命过程。脂质组学(Lipidomics)是基于质谱技术的研究脂质代谢的有力手段。然而大部分的脂质组学只能获取"快照式(snapshot)"的静态脂质代谢指纹,无法对脂质代谢的动态过程(如合成、转化、降解等)进行深入研究。将稳定同位素标记的前体分子引入实验体系中,可帮助捕获脂质动态代谢信息。经典方法有气相色谱-同位素比例质谱(gas-chromatography-isotope ratio mass spectrometry,GC-IRMS)、基于气相色谱-质谱联用(gas-chromatography mass spectrometry,GC-MS)的质量同位素异构体分布分析(mass isotopomer distribution analysis。MIDA)。上述方法样品预处理复杂,且无法实现分子水平上的MID分析。相反,基于液相色谱-质谱联用(LC-MS)结合二级质谱(MS/MS)可提高分子特异性。目前有报道,通过LC-MS测定胆固醇酯、磷脂、三酰甘油、鞘脂或酯酰辅酶A等脂质库对稳定同位素前体的吸收,来研究干预下的脂质代谢应答。然而,这些研究只关注少数脂质。鉴于此,我们发展并评价了一种基于稳定同位素标记辅助的脂质组学,并结合非靶向的同位素异构体(isotopomer)筛选的新型策略,以实现对脂质代谢网络的动态过程研究。该策略首先通过细胞培养等方式引入稳定同位素标记的脂质合成前体分子;脂质提取物用超高效液相色谱-高分辨质谱联用以全扫描形式进行脂质组学数据采集;随后对采集的质谱信息以非靶向模式进行同位素异构体的筛选和匹配,检测尽可能多的标记脂质,并获取该标记脂质的相关同位素异构体组成信息。通过计算[C+C]和[C/(C+C)],同时得到脂质代谢指纹(等同于常规的脂质组学)和与动态过程相关联的标记信息。我们发展了相应的自动化程序以辅助该质谱数据的解析过程。在用C全标记棕榈酸([U-C]-palmitate)培养的人类骨骼肌细胞中,我们在>7000离子中检测到692个脂质同位素异构体离子,归属于203个脂质分子,覆盖磷脂酰胆碱(PC),溶血磷脂酰胆碱(LPC),磷脂酰乙醇胺(PE),溶血磷脂酰乙醇胺(LPE),磷脂酰丝氨酸(PS),磷脂酰肌醇(PI),神经酰胺(Cer),二氢神经酰胺(dHCer),已糖苷神经酰胺(HexCer),鞘磷脂(SM),二酰甘油(DG),三酰甘油(TG)共12类脂质。基于稳定同位素标记的MS/MS,有助于确定标记位置,研究合成来源,辅助验证结构鉴定和同位素异构体的匹配。对QC(quality contro1)样本的考察表明该方法稳健可靠重复性好,变异系数(CV)中值在所有脂质的水平([C+C]),和标记脂质的标记比例(C/[C+C])中分别为6.91%和3.74%.该策略成功应用于人类骨骼肌细胞在脂毒性环境下的脂质代谢研究。通过构建包含动态过程的脂质代谢网络,揭示了不同脂质对于过量[U-C]-pahnitate造成的脂毒性下的动态代谢应答过程。综上,我们发展了一种基于稳定同位素标记辅助的脂质组学,并结合非靶向的同位素异构体(isotopomer)筛选的新型策略,在获得静态脂质代谢指纹的同时,可以捕获包含其中的动态代谢过程。该方法具有高度的分子特异性和广泛的网络覆盖能力,方法重复、稳健、可靠,为深入研究脂质代谢开辟了新思路,以期对生物体系的病理生理过程、代谢扰动获得更深刻全面的理解。

The management of patients with advanced non-small cell lung carcinoma(NSCLC)has undergone major changes in recent *** the one hand,improved sensitivity of diagnostic tests,both radiological and endoscopic,has altered the way patients are *** the other hand,the arrival of new drugs with antitumoral activity,such as targeted therapies or immunotherapy,has changed the prognosis of patients,improving disease control and prolonging ***,the development of radiotherapy and surgical and interventional radiology techniques means that radical ablative treatments can be performed on metastases in any location in the *** of these advances have impacted the treatment of patients with advanced lung cancer,especially in a subgroup of these patients in which all of these treatment modalities *** poses a challenge for physicians who must decide upon the best treatment strategy for each patient,without solid evidence for one optimal mode of treatment in this patient *** aim of this article is to review,from a practical and multidisciplinary perspective,published evidence on the management of oligometastatic NSCLC *** evaluate the different alternatives for radical ablative treatments,the role of primary tumor resection or radiation,the impact of systemic treatments,and the therapeutic *** short,the present document aims to provide clinicians with a practical guide for the treatment of oligometastatic patients in routine clinical practice.
