Prevalence, risk factors, and BRAF mutation of colorectal sessile serrated lesions among Vietnamese patients

BACKGROUND Sessile serrated lesions(SSLs)are considered precancerous colorectal lesions that should be detected and removed to prevent colorectal *** studies in Vietnam mainly investigated the adenoma pathway,with limited data on the serrated *** To evaluate the prevalence,risk factors,and BRAF mutations of SSLs in the Vietnamese *** This is a cross-sectional study conducted on patients with lower gastrointestinal symptoms who underwent colonoscopy at a tertiary hospital in *** were diagnosed on histopathology according to the 2019 World Health Organi-zation *** mutation analysis was performed using the Sanger DNA sequencing *** multivariate logistic regression model was used to determine SSL-associated *** There were 2489 patients,with a mean age of 52.1±13.1 and a female-to-male ratio of 1:*** prevalence of SSLs was 4.2%[95%confidence interval(CI):3.5-5.1].In the multivariate analysis,factors significantly associated with SSLs were age≥40[odds ratio(OR):3.303;95%CI:1.607-6.790],male sex(OR:2.032;95%CI:1.204-3.429),diabetes mellitus(OR:2.721;95%CI:1.551-4.772),and hypertension(OR:1.650,95%CI:1.045-2.605).The rate of BRAF mutations in SSLs was 35.5%.CONCLUSION The prevalence of SSLs was 4.2%.BRAF mutations were present in one-third of *** risk factors for SSLs included age≥40,male sex,diabetes mellitus,and hypertension.

Supply Chain Management Practices, Competitive Advantages and Firm Performance： A Case of Small and Medium Enterprises （SMEs） in Vietnam

The perception of supply chain management （SCM） first appeared in 1982 and the very first papers on SCM were published in the mid 1980s （Houlihan, 1985）. However, this term is still fresh in Vietnam, especially the subject of SCM practices and their impacts on firm performance of small and medium enterprises （SMEs）. Therefore, the research was conducted to study the impact of supply chain management practices （SCMPs） on firm performance of SMEs through firm competitive advantages. Data were collected by surveying SMEs located in Ho Chi minh City. The research findings showed that customer relationship （CR） and quality of information sharing （IQ） impact on firm performance at 0.01% significance level while the level of information sharing impacts on firm performance at 10% significance level, and strategic supplier partnership impacts on firm performance insignificantly. Moreover, we also found that customer relationship and quality of information sharing influence firm competitive advantage at 0.01% significance level, while strategic supplier partnership and the quality of information sharing impact on firm competitive advantage at 5% significance level. Competitive advantages impact significantly positively on firm performance at significance level of 0.001%. The findings imply that SMEs in Vietnam should manage customer relationship well and increase the level of information quality to improve competitive advantage in order to gain high performance.

STABILITY ANALYSIS OF A COMPUTER VIRUS PROPAGATION MODEL WITH ANTIDOTE IN vuLNERABLE SYSTEM

We study a proposed model describing the propagation of computer virus in the network with antidote in vulnerable system. Mathematical analysis shows that dynamics of the spread of computer viruses is determined by the threshold Ro. If Ro 〈 1, the virusfree equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable, and if R0 〉 1, the endemic equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable. Lyapunov functional method as well as geometric approach are used for proving the global stability of equilibria. A numerical investigation is carried out to confirm the analytical results. Through parameter analysis, some effective strategies for eliminating viruses are suggested.

Two-dimensional perovskite SrNbO_(2) N with Zr doping for accelerating photoelectrochemical water splitting

The superior ability of perovskite-type SrNbO_(2) N to absorb intensive visible light makes it a potential semiconductor to produce hydrogen and oxygen by photoelectrochemical(PEC)water splitting under *** surface morphologies,such as shape and structure,of the oxynitride strongly affect its photoactivity,although the mechanism has been hardly ***,we report a two-dimensional(2D)porous SrNbO_(2) N plate with Zr doping,nitrided from layered perovskite Sr_(5)Nb_(4)O_(15) and also its largely enhanced PEC water splitting ***^(4+)was doped in Sr_(5)Nb_(4)O_(15) during flux-assisted calcination using KCl,producing 2D-type truncated-octahedral Sr_(5)Nb_(4)O_(15):Zr plates approximately 50 nm in *** nitridation completely transformed Sr_(5)Nb_(4)O_(15):Zr to 2D single-crystalline SrNbO_(2) N:Zr with a large surface area,which was subsequently used to fabricate a thin and uniform photoanode by the spin coating *** a result,the Co(OH)_(x)/SrNbO_(2) N:Zr/FTO photoanode capable of absorbing visible light of up to 680 nm exhibited an activity of 2.0 mA cm^(-2) at 1.23 V vs the reversible hydrogen electrode for water splitting under AM 1.5G simulated *** improvement in photoactivity mainly originated from the 2D surface morphology of SrNbO_(2) N:Zr,which is clearly distinguishable from 3D-type *** to electrochemical analyses,the 2D structure of SrNbO_(2) N:Zr boosted the separation and accelerated the transfer of charges photogenerated during the water splitting,thus driving the reaction ***,the result empirically demonstrates that controlling the surface morphology of SrNbO_(2) N is an effective strategy to suppress the recombination of charges and minimize their diffusion pathway,eventually enhancing the PEC activity.

For a long time, Vietnam has modifications in all aspects in the society. For many years, Vietnam has improved features in administrative works as well as in different areas, such as public administration, finance, and accounting In the accounting content, budget accounting is an important thing which is worth noting. However, along with the achievements, Vietnam is also facing a number of limitations to be overcome for ensuring transparency in the state budget. Since then, the main purpose of the article is to provide a general picture of budget accounting in Vietnam and what has not been done through finding the relationships with budget regulations and international public sector accounting. The results showed that Vietnam will transform and issue the new law on budget and build up a new model for controlling information published by data accounting system in the future.

Background:Biliary atresia is a rare congenital bile duct disease that is the leading cause of liver fibrosis in *** colony-stimulating factor(GCSF)is a potential therapy for hepatocellular diseases,but data on GCSF for cholestatic conditions remain *** and methods:The current study examines the role of GCSF in improving bile duct obstruction in *** doses were administered:10.0 mg/kg/day and 61.5 mg/kg/day,which is the animal equivalent dose of 5.0 mg/kg in *** days(D7)after bile duct ligation(BDL),Swiss mice were treated with phosphate buffered saline or GCSF for 5 *** intrahepatic adaptive response of BDL mice was evaluated on postsurgical days D12,D19,and ***:Treatment with 61.5 mg/kg of GCSF resulted in a significant increase in circulating leukocytes and neutrophils on *** of liver injury,as shown by reduced aspartate aminotransferase levels,increased albumin levels and survival rate,as well as reduced intrahepatic inflammation and hepatic myeloperoxidase expression,downregulated ductular proliferation,periportal fibroblast activation,and fibrosis,enhanced expressions of hepatocyte growth factor,peroxisome proliferator-activated receptoralpha,and ki67,and suppressed expression of cleaved caspase-3 protein,was noted after treatment with 61.5 mg/kg of ***,GCSF treatment was associated with an increased number of intrahepatic cd3-Sca1tc-Kitt bone marrow cells.

Flow Assurance in Subsea Pipeline Design for Transportation of Petroleum Products

Transportation of petroleum products through pipeline presents considerable risks including wax formation and deposition as a result of heat loss of fluids, which is harmful to the flow due to the reduced inner diameter or totally blocked pipelines in extreme cases. The production interruption due to blocked pipelines can cause colossal financial loss. Therefore, in order to diminish those adverse effects, it is critical that pipeline design for flow assurance should be considered. Flow assurance is a relatively new field in oil and gas industry, it means that the flow of hydrocarbon stream from one point to another must be ensured successfully and economically. Although flow assurance is extremely diverse, encompassing many discrete and specialized subjects and bridging across the full gamut of engineering disciplines, our work concentrated principally on the study of wax deposit in the pipelines. The main purpose of this paper is to focus on the aspect of material in pipeline design and the selection of thermal insulation coatings. Furthermore, operating parameters such as pressure, temperature and flowrate will be examined to achieve optimum results. For the case study in this paper, the pipeline connecting Ca NguVang Oilfield’s Wellhead Platform (WHP) to the Central Processing Platform of Bach Ho Oilfield (CPP-3) in Vietnam will be studied. Hence, this work covers several aspects, namely the theoretical study, the modeling using Excel as well as using specialized software OLGA, and finally the application for a real case in the petroleum industry in Vietnam.

Recently, air quality has significantly improved in developed country, but that issue is of concern in emerging megacity in developing *** this study, aerosols and their precursor gas were collected by NILU filter pack at two distinct urban sites during the winter and summer in Osaka, Japan and dry and rainy seasons in Ho Chi minh City(HCMC),*** aims are to investigate the contribution of water-soluble inorganic ions(WSIIs) to PM2.5, thermodynamic characterization and possible formation pathway of secondary inorganic aerosol(SIA).The PM2.5 concentration in Osaka(15.8 μg/m^3) is lower than that in HCMC(23.0 μg/m^3), but the concentration of WSIIs in Osaka(9.0 μg/m^3) is two times higher than that in HCMC(4.1 μg/m^3).Moreover, SIA including NH4^+, NO3^-and SO4^2-are major components in WSIIs accounting for 90% and 76%(in molar) in Osaka and HCMC,*** models were used to understand the thermodynamic characterization of urban ***, statistical analysis results indicate that very good agreement(R2> 0.8) was found for all species, except for nitrate aerosol in *** found that when the crustal species present at high amount, those compositions should be included in model calculation(*** the HCMC situation).Finally, we analyzed the characteristics of NH4^+– NO3^-– SO4^2-system.A possible pathway to produce fine nitrate aerosol in Osaka is via the homogeneous reaction between NH3 and HNO3, while nonvolatile nitrate aerosols can be formed by the heterogeneous reactions in HCMC.
